A good case for Xperia L? - Sony Xperia L

Hi all.
Can someone advise me a case for this smartphone?
(A case that you have tested would be perfect)
I ask this because looking on ebay there are several case, but some of these from the photos do not appear specific to the Xperia L, and given that this smartphone is slightly concave on the back I would not buy a wrong case.

i got this sandy case from metal-slim..
love it.. it fit perfects on hand, specially when playing lying down..
it's around $13-14 on our country, unlike the one posted on their site..
:highfive:
EDIT:
I will not recommend this case anymore.. this morning, it had chipped away some parts on its edge..
meaning, it's already damage, and its less than 2 weeks!!
better go with silicon or durable plastic..

well i bought one from ebay , its white rubberised

i dont think it ships to india

Hey guys...I am thinking to buy a case.so far my phone didn't got any scratch because the back cover is really good material. However,I never droped it so even if it's pretty like this,I don't want to risk.So found 3 cases that i like:
Case Nr.1
Case Nr.2
Case Nr.3
I m not sure which one to choose.I'm interested that they don't tend to stick to my pocket when i try to get the phone like silicon cases do and to be as thin as possible.I would prefer Nr.3 but I'm not sure because in the product description it says that package box contain only screen guard.....Do you think they fit my needs?Any other suggestions?Preferably any other link for Nr.3 option that contains the whole set. Thanks!

I personally like the second one most of your three.
But myself, I would love to have a "case" like samsung usually produces for their devices, which is just a replacement for backcover and adds a screen saver to 'clip" over screen.... if you know what i mean

I have a fairly expensive Krusell case. It's a bit bulky, but the grip is excellent and it solves the problem with the protruding power button.

what about incipio dualpro case

Another vote for ebay nillkin stuff... fairly cheap - around 8$ ... I'll post some pictures /when xda lets me post links/ GRRRR!

SGS Matte/rubberized battery cover

Hello,
Does anyone know where I can buy a battery cover that's either matter or has a rubberized feel to it for my Galaxy S?
I don't want a case, I just want a back cover that's not a fingerprint magnet.
I'm looking for something that's already made and that can ship to Eastern Europe (Romania, eg. Amazon UK ships most stuff to my country).
Thank you.
Interesting nickname .. you've got bitten ?
I've got this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Samsung-Galaxy-..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item1e64e81191
It will fit perfectly (at least mine did).
Ultra fast shipping to Romania (coming from UK). I've ordered monday evening and thusday morning it was in my postal box at my apartment.
P.S.: I got directions for this from this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=720718
Thanks alot mate, will have a look and probably order one.
( just an old nickname, and usually english ones I use in games are taken )
edit: just placed the order.
Great! Looking for sth. like this, too!
Anyone else tried out this BC?
Up to now I'm using the TPU cover. It's a little thick but perfectly protects the edges as my phone usually drop out of my shirt pocket onto the concrete floor
one time per year ;-)

Just got my case today, delivery took 4 working days, and the back fits perfectly.
Thanks again ro_explorer for the link.
Do you know where I can find the white one? That seller has just black and pink ...
Got mine today. 4 days from UK to Germany. Applied it immidiatly and it fits perfectly! tremendous! I imagined it a little bit more "rubbery" but its more like a smooth grip. Still a great improvement with this matt black look. Grip improved 100%. No more sweat. Feels soft and natural. Recommended!

Sony Xperia Z Side Flip Case

Checked many cases and covers in xda and the side flip cover would be a good solution for Xperia z,for which could protect the battery cover as well as the battery cover in good condition, also it seems not wired as the common flip case while calling with the flip cover hanging there, and I plans to get one soon, if some one get the side flip ones from here, the covers seem nice yet if anyone experienced with them?

Regarding the Nilkin case - does the front cover come off by itself or does it kind of stay on the display? It seems there is no snap on or magnetic feature..
It comes off by itself if your waving it around. No magnets no nothing.
Still I think they're one of the best looking.
Look through the cases covers and accessories thread. And ill be posting more new ones tonight.

Thanks for reminding me that I hadn't sent a review
I already have it for 2 weeks now and I am overall pleased.
In detail:
Pros:
The mobile goes in the case really nicely and smoothly but steadily at the same time.
It doesn't give you the impression that it will fall off or something.
Handling the device is really easy, despite the fact that the screen protection side does not have a magnet or something to keep it closed.
Overall quality is ok.
Cons:
I didn't like at all the ugly edges of the case, it seems as if the material was accidentally spilled at the edges.
The upper and lower sides of the case are nothing but smooth.
The USB cap opening does not match exactly the usb cap resulting in having to take the X-Z out of the case whenever I want to charge it or connect it to my laptop.
My rating is: 7/10 and that's because I got really annoyed when I saw that opening the usb cap is really difficult with this case.
I am currently using this one as my primary case for my XZ.
Once I receive my dock, I will use again the pouch that I have.

oh good it's not just me. I thought it was because I was putting it in my mini backpack and all the stress the mini backpack was putting on it.
Shame too because I really really love this case I hope more devices get cases like this. maybe the new ones add in some metal wire or something so it doesn't stretch.
mine is mainly warping along the power port, volume keys and microphone port.

I have had the same problem. Has anyone had any luck getting the case un-deformed? Maybe somehow getting it to shrink using heat or another process? I really like the skin case, and can live with it the way it is, but would prefer not to have large gaps by the power and volume, and a hump by the usb port...
Thanks.

Yeah as did mine. I treated it with care too. I don't think it matters how you treat it, the area around the power button is going to go wonky
the official custom hp case is the best one for the pad. though mine not only got deformed, it got REALLY smooth too, compared to my sisters new one
I finally got sick of the deformed case. But I wanted a slim case with flip cover, and all the ones I found bulked it up more than I cared for. So, I made my own out of two cases. I bought the Poetic TPU case off eBay for $6. Then I used a razor blade to remove the flip cover from my deformed OEM case. After failing with Gorilla glue, I found that good old super glue does an excellent job of bonding the cover material to TPU without deforming it. Looks a little rough, think I'll make another. Next time though, I'll bond the cover at top, making it easier to open or close on the touchstone charger.

I have done a little surgery to my original HP case. I cut off the parts that were warping. And actually, it worked out well. But after doing that, I bought a carbon fiber skin and a Touchstone charger and only use the case when I take it out of the house. It feels nice without a case.
The only case I've been able to get to play nice with my touchstone sadly is the stock hp touchpad case.

Dock + Case/Bumper

Hello,
First, I'm sorry if this was discussed in details somewhere. I have read a lot of threads in accessories these last days. Even though some threads were about this subject (example : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176767, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2200760), I haven't found the answer to my question. Moderators, feel free to move the thread, sorry if you have to.
To the point:
Basically my question is : Do we really have to choose between the dock and case/bumber? I would really love to be able to use both for obvious reasons (wireless charging and protection). I have found some cases that are supposed to fit the official dock, but according to users' reviews they are really bad and fragile (in addition to be ugly) : http://shop.brando.com/Simplism-Ultra-Thin-Cover-Set-for-Sony-Xperia-Z_p08858c1512d004.html or really bulky : http://shop.brando.com/Simplism-Flip-Note-Style-for-Sony-Xperia-Z_p8857c304d4.html
I would like to have something like the aluminium bumper : http://shop.brando.com/Sony-Xperia-Z-Metallic-Bumper_p8856c304d4.html
But with a charging pins cutout and a dock suitable for such a built. Probably a 3rd party kit : bumper + suitable dock sold with it.
Have anyone found something like this? Let's say no matter the price? Or some DIY is the only way so far? Would be really strange that no one on the market have thought about it...
Thanks!

I am using the DK26 dock and the Simplism cover with the Spigen glass T slim.
The way I worked it was to cut out from the back of the dock the 2 plastic arms that hold your phone in place when you dock it. this gives me a little more space and now the simplism cover and phone dock. its still tight but heck, it works.

I would bet more on first one than last one. Not because of price, but because it is thinnest. But still I think it will be not enough thin for dock. The thinnest case (simplism) is 0.35mm and by reviews it goes in dock in milimeters, I just wish to get one of the cases that are able to use with dock (even I have aftermarket dock) as it is annoying to put imak case everytime off the phone, when I need to charge it. So please, report us what was the results )

alternative docks, is it same saze as official one?
About time some manufacturers are gonna read these topics, I think they sell them out in no time

Any good protection available yet ?

Hello!
I will get my One Mini in like 2 - 5 days. Of course I want to protect it.
Im kinda always outside and not at home, so there's like always a possibility to drop the phone.
My dad owns the bigger sibling (M7) and he told me this device is really slippy, even though it's pretty handy. I never dropped any of my phones outside and broke the display or anything.. Well I dropped my iPod Touch one time.. but that was an apple device.. I got over it
Now, are there any good cases out yet ?
Im currently using a flipcase on my Desire HD. Brand: I-Carer.
So I preffer cases like the one I have. Dad ordered THIS one.
Im searching for something simular. But I haven't found anything yet..
Anything out yet, or am I asking too early...
Mini protection....
Hi,
I'd suggest a case-mate "barely there" silicon sleeve, and get a Zagg screen protector (coming soon for the mini - check the site!)
As the phone's name suggests, it's mini, so why bulk it up with silly flip cases!
I own that one:
http://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B00E8Y...flip case&qid=1376506583&ref_=sr_1_59&sr=8-59
Im honestly not that satisfied..
So imma order a new one soon..
I cant find a picture of the case you wrote down, can you post or pm a link ?
Think I'll prefer silicon soft cases..
I always had them, wanted to try something new but the flipcase makes a fast accept difficult, and not very handy..
I can post a full review to that case If needed.

I've just put on a skinomi screen protector. Bought from amazon, same as Zagg, just slightly cheaper. Reply back once its fully stuck and useable and give an opinion on it.

Simular to zagg ?
Can you send me a link ? Im on my phone, bad internet connection over here..cant find it on google..
I had a zagg screenprotector once.
Tbh i stil have it
Its stil on the device, and I loved that protector.

I've just put on a skinomi screen protector. Bought from amazon, same as Zagg, just slightly cheaper. Reply back once its fully stuck and useable and give an opinion on it.

Bought it, applied it following the direction, threw it away 20 seconds after. Complete waste of money. Hopefully Spiegen will come out the glass one for mini, by far the best screen protector I have ever had.

I have to dissagree. It went on better than the zagg i done for my lads Desire C, and is crystal clear when on. Yes, some ppl don't like the feel of these types of protectors, but as for protection i think its worth it. And for only £7, its worth every penny.
I tried to post a link but have a restricted account atm, sorry.

No problem mate, I already searched it up when I had better connection
Gonna try out soon, as I've been satisfied with the zagg case

I've got a barely-there case that will deliver today along with some generic clear screen protectors. Will see if the case is worth while tonight.

I got my case mate barely there case yesterday - 100% definitely worth it, tried the htc and generic cheap cases, all rubbish. Case mate is the one.... lol
Have an invisible shield on it's way - will report back on the screen protection, it gets 5 star reviews on Amazon.....
