VisionMobile has launched their new Developer Economics survey, which reaches across thousands of app developers and provides the data for their famous state of the developer nation reports. Now in its 5th edition, the new Developer Economics survey examines some of the hottest issues of mobile development, such as top mobile platforms, most widely used revenue models, and web vs. native development. At the moment I am a student at the VU University Amsterdam, doing co-creation research. I am wondering whether it is possible that the members of xda-developers can fill in my questionnaire, and how it is best to do this to avoid any spam events happening.
The survey is done to investigate co-creators within online co-creation communities. An online Co-Creation community is a online network of people, who share the same interest, common identity and social relationships, among admires of a brand or product. Co-Creation is the integration of customers within the production and design process of an organization, to create value, and products to fulfill consumers' needs. An example of co-creation is the Boeing World Design Team, in which over 120,000 people contributed to the design of the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner airplane.
In this case thus consumers who develop own apps for mobile devices in order to increase the quality of that device.
