I'd like to get a clarification from senior developers.
Hotspot feature is generally blocked by few carriers. If I create an app with root permissions for that purpose, will the carrier company make a problem regarding that?

Ofcource NOT ... !! ... And btw .. There is already an https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.hotspotcontrol&hl=en which works for many ppl with carrier locked hotspot ..

The apps without root use the standard android Api n carrier locked tethering in most cases removes the teathering from framework so it while it may work for some it may not work for ALL

If you are on android 2.1 download an apk (app) from google called z4root, open it on your phone and click on root.
If you are using android 2.2 download a program on your computer called superoneclick root, turn USB debugging on (on your phone), connect your USB and click on root.

Wait first of all, please don't speak like OH HELP ME PLSS!!! as that won't help you. Second of all are you saying you rooted it, or asking if it is rooted. If you want to know if your rooted, get an app from the google play store called 'root checker'.

You can also check if you have the "Superuser" app installed since usually rooting methods include it.

There are also root checking apps that you can use from Google Play.
im creating an app with a database of pc game cheat codes. the app is still in development version and i would appreciate some reviews and testing. currently it works properly on sony tablets etc but on the galaxy ace the icons get interchanged, so testers are welcome

whats that gps and account permission for in a cheat application??
and why do you need an auto run permission on boot?
if they are inserted by fault, please delete them... ifthey are implemented for usage, please tell me why

Check out "State Bank Freedom" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sgs.sbi.mbanking
Install this app and type username as "abc123" tou will get know what the issue is.
THIS APP is very useful and convenient to me.. I am a regular user of this app but I miss this app since I have been using any custom rom..
Even on suvi I had the issue, as of now I refreshed to use this app.
If anyone do have knowledge regarding this issue than please come forward to help.
I have sent a mail to SBI also but they will not be helping me coz this is not their fault.
This is my community so I can expect everything from you guys.

Brother this app in even not working on stock jb by mmx ..i guess it is not a issue of any rom. If download this app from sbi web site it says model no. ( A110) not supported. Its a compatibility issue with the phone model itself ... i m too facing the same problem...

Bro, I used this app on STOCK ICS, JB, JMP, SUVI and it is working perfect.
Maybe this is not compatible with 4.1.2, But this is a very convenient app to me, starting from money transfer to recharge and paying bill through imps is a delightful feature.. SBI app developer might be sarkari person so thay might not be aware that 4.3 is released since they have not updated.

Are u facing issue of like when u type in the user id it goes black so for that solution just untick the gpu rendering in developers option. I have mentioned this solution earlier. Hope this is your issue.

New is" I got my solution to my sbi app which I was trying to find out since months. "
No dev recommended me to do this thing. Everyone was saying this is apps fault.

Open Camera go to more there you can find download, where you can download additional modes.
But due to regional difference ...I am not able to download any modes...it says not available. ..any OTHER way to get it besides downloading it from the app?? Thanks

you can install the camera modes manually.
XtreStoLite Rom has a addon package. From that you could extract the apk.
Regarding themes there is no manually way to install fifferent themes. But the theme store store should be available to everyone.

Regarding the themes I am sure it is not available to all the countries of the world including mine - BHUTAN !

You can try using HotspotShield or other vpn services and hope that it tricks the system. Not sure though. You can try.

Thanks ...alot for the suggestions but I have already tried hotshiled and other vpns but it does no good !! Guess I am the unfortunate !! Unlucky me !

I wish i could do that but sadly i dnt have huge internet package here thus cannot download the package u are refering to. If there is anyone with the apk please let me know ! Thank you ,,,
