HI all,
I am working on a Panorama application and I want to Lock the auto white balance for the same.
I am able to Lock and Unlock AWB with APIs that Android has provided from ICS onwards. The problem is the AWB lock is not working particularly in Nexus 4 device.
Has anyone faced the same problem?

Hi all, I remember there was a bug mentioned in the dev area that I wasn't sure if there was a resolution for. If one is in the camera app, and lock/unlock the screen, the phone will wake up, but the screen remains dark, and the only way to fix it is to pull the battery and reboot. This doesn't happen on ICS as far as I know, which is good, but seeing it's still some ways before gold, I was wondering if the problem can be fixed on GB builds?

Since I've bought my XM2, I had some problems with the camera... To be more exact, the autofocus function, or whatever its called. The thing is that when I start the camera app (the default one) all the pictures are blurry, I've tried to install other camera apps, but still... autofocus wont work.
Any help? Will be much appreciated.

I have the same problem since the KitKat update. Probably Sony will fix it in future
use the manual mode instead of superior auto. you have more control over focus there
In my old Xperia Neo we had an option for stabilizin the pictures we took. Its symbol was a hand surrounded by waves. If I had that option checked I never got blurry pictures.
It would be great to improve this for our mobiles (I also have the same problem in my M2)
you can use manual focus instead of autofocus. Just set type of focus do you want (touch, face detection) in camera setting
With the newest Android Version 5.1.1 there come some changes in the behavior of the camera app. Even if i'm in portrait mode my camera rotates pictures according to the sensor.
I am using the App 'display orientator' which locks the screen in a very useful way and had never problems like this. Photos were always orientated in the same way as the screen was. The App itself works still perfectly. Any sugestions vor similar problems?

Hi guys, im facing the issue with Huawei P40 Pro. Gapps installed. The issue is that if i unlock my phone with different way of unlocking: face or finger. Note that 90hz mode is chosen in Settings. Both methods of unlocking turned on
1) if i unlock it with the finger - it works with 90hz
2) if i unlock the phone with face and the unlock screen appears at least for a moment - it works 90hz
3) if i unlock it with face and the unlock screen don't appear(actually i look at the phone and the unlock is really fast) - it turns 60hz.
Once i turned off the finger unlock option, it works 90hz with the only face unlock option. What should be the issue of this? I recordered the video to show you guys how it really looks like, add h before the link
