I have a weird problem in my ace plus... My phone connects to wifi network but when i browse it doesn't works.. When i search something on google it works well but when i use facebook it keeps on loading for a long time and at last give error connection timed out. If i use static ip same problem google works but cannot browse facebook...
But now i installed cm10 by the Whisp and the wifi works without any error i can use google facebook or any other sites its working fine..:laugh::laugh:
This wifi problem is only with gingerbread roms both stock and custom roms :crying::crying::crying:
So is there any solution for it????? Since it works in cm10 but not is gb roms i don't think its the hardware fault..
so if anyone can help me please do reply..

I have tried all custom gb roms available and stock gb roms too but all with same result
but in cm10 everything works no problem at all:good::good::good::good:

try to flash stock rom again and check if network is stable or not
if yes then flash cm 10.1 by wiping every thing
if that doesnt solve the problem then its your network carrier problem not cm 10.1
and for the kernel
no you cant run it on JB buddy because it is for GB not for JB
you cant run any GB kernel on JB

I've flashed the stock rom, and yes, the mobile data is working, but when I flashed the CM 10.1, it's not woking. What seems to be the problem? Okay, so GB will only work for GB, thanks for clearing this for me, though I don't have any idea why mobile data is not working on CM10.1 but works on stock rom.

ohh then you just have to manually add apn settings !!!
just call your operator and ask them for apn setting
or search on Google you will find it

I am using SBCL Rom for A90S. Rom is quite good and working perfectly on my phone. Howevere after 2-3 days of installing Bluetooth button stops working. Can anybody suggest fix for it? Infact the Rom is also no more available on this forum I have a copy of it.

Reflashing always fixes the issue , but its painful to do it every third day . This time I tried "Fix PErmissions" and it worked. However earlier it didnt work.
Volume issue with SBCL for A90S
Sound is very low for this Rom : SBCLMAX. I tried doing the setting at max after going in engineer mode but didnt help. People complaint on other side of phone that they have difficulty hearing me. I tried other Rom's like A90S stock ICS and Blue Vivo. Sound is fine on these Roms. Any help on SBCL will be highly appreciated. Rom is excellent other than these small small issues.

I don't know what to do, the phone is very slow. Sometimes it freezes for a very long time, it freezes in the menus, it freezes on google play, etc. Sometimes it's for a short period of time, but sometimes it crashes the whole ROM and the phone reboots... :crying::crying:
What should I do? On 2.3.6 the phone worked like a charm...

I also have Galaxy S advance I have used all custom roms. Always touchwiz roms lag
Our device has got stable cm10.1, cm10.2, cm11(wifi toggle buggy), omni rom, slimkat, carbon and many Rome see the s advance original development thread for more details
I suggest you to use cm10.1 or cm10.2. They are best and doesn't have single lag

There is cocore kernel but it is only for stock/stock based roms

Thanks for the answer. If I could have done it, it would have been great. It might still work, if I find the apps in .apk, it might just work, like an ordinary app. Does S-Voice belong to Samsung or Google? That's the only app that I want, I think. And I have it in .apk. I also have AccuWheather and Samsung Apps in .apk. I would lose Kies(I think), but the software is crap, backup and restore works only 70%. But there are more softwares out there that can do what Kies does, only better. So, I don't know, it's something to think about...

S voice belongs to samsung not google, google has google voice typing and google voice search
Hi i recently flashed my phone with CM11 and aumented the internal memory but now my phone is all laggy and it takes like 30 sec to open the most basics apps in my phone i tried installing a kernel but i can't find any for android 4.4.2, also my screen is not calibrated or something it really takes an effort on writing a simple message.
Any help? Have you been having isues with your pico?

well dude cm11 is not yet that smooth .. u have to wait .. im also not using cm11, the most smoothest rom till now is CM10 (4.1.2 JB)

well according to me its 90% problem with your touch screen so its hardware related issue ... but first try changing the rom if the problem persists then its hardware according to me Sorrie

No, its not the problem of CM11 because im already using since 1Month, its really butter smooth and im using IN2EXT script for internal memory
i think its your touch related problem any way first switch to another rom like [Truimph HD V2 Black Pegasus not V3] and CM10 4.1.2 or any HTC Sense 4.0 ICS Roms after that if same problem persists then contact htc service centre

you can give a shot to the cyanogenmod 11 kitkat rom by galaxy freak and flash pure performance to that. i have done it and its working quite well for me. also can give a try to pico cm11 form armv6

I tried cm 11 rc 1 .... but lags on my phone...I also noticed that cm 11 is not performing well on some Pico's.... I don't know what the problem is....??

flash pure performances mod to that . it reduces the lag to great extent or else try the other rom which i mentioned. it does not lag.

tried this too ... but WiFi bug still persists .... appears after a month or so...
I also tried its updated version from the same "OP" called Cody Rom (build 2) ... but in that too very minor bugs like instagram not working and WiFi problem sometimes....

I know but every or other ROM has bugs but thats not a major bugs..
Wi fi bug is there in cm 10.2 as well.. So you have to leave with it if you want smoothness.. As you describe in your question..
