It's expected to be coming by next or next to next month... But you know samsung.. They are busy in making s3 a little better and naming it s4...

yup...its really very disappointing...n now they have released a new list for those devices which will be getting 4.2.2 and 5.0 and with no surprise,ace plus is not included in that list
Ace plus will not get nor mini 2 nor s duos

Today, samsung officially release new 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OFFICIAL ROM firmware for galaxy S advance.
Is it possible any modder could port it to i9003?
I think it is same hardware except the mhz of the phone but maybe we could port this stock rom to I9003.

Yes its possible. Even roms from other family, they can port it. But its not what they prioritize. After finishing Kernel 3 then i believe new ROMS everyday will come out.
FYI, galaxy S advance specs are totally different from our phone i9003.
porting from it will be meaningless.

No. None of the other Samsung devices have the same specifications as our i9003. There is also no official ICS for Galaxy S.
Any ROM can be ported to our device till the ROM has the same DPI as our device for example dhiru ported the stock ICS ROM from galaxy s2 to galaxy s 19000

explaining technical stuff they won't accept it and won't understand it.

Actually I and nikhil18 were working on such a project but because of absence of my PC I had to leave the project we had made quite progress.

i am not an expert in porting when i had ported the ics rom from s2 it had booted it showed that android is upgrading but that thing took place very fast and it rebooted and when i checked the logcat it showed many errors swapnilraj was helping me in porting but his comp broke and we left the port

3 ITA (Italian mobile carrier) confirmed on a Facebook private message that Ace II will get the official Jelly Bean update in early march, sooner than originally anticipated (march/april). Hope this is true.
Also, they mentioned that the update will be available through Samsung Kies.
Can't wait for it, although the leaked version seems good enaugh. :good:

one another jellybean thread which belongs to Galaxy Ace but author got drunk & edit it as Galaxy Ace Plus on that page
because take a look, on same page they've mention Galaxy Ace Plus & another time Galaxy ace (CHECK SS)
Don't even try this one, unless you have to brick your device
