Cheers

This would be interesting for me too ;-P

In Europe, Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and Sense 4.1+ upgrade for the HTC ONE SV is also out. Downloaded and installed in Estonia

Which version you have (LTE or None LTE, from provider)?

LTE version (800/1800/2600Mhz) and Retail unit, no provider lock or anything.
Antutu benchmark thrown in as well. Unfortunately i did not do pre 4.1.2 benchmark.

Thanks for the info!
Benchmark seems really nice

LIFE!
IT'S WHAT YOU MAKE OUT OF IT!

We have done many times....

I have access to a Vodafone UK stock unit and it has LTE disabled, meaning that the options are hidden. LTE will be enabled OTA in one of next updates, if not already with JB update coming soon.
Cheers.

Phones with no developers has no dedicated page.
Most people check the xda page and then buy the phone.

Jelly Bean 4.1 Download (Not usable for flashing, can devs look inside for clues?)

http://android.clients.google.com/p....signed-takju-JRN84D-from-IMM30D.5a07884d.zip
SO there is the link ^ for jelly bean, but it only works for "takju" devices that Google gave out at I/O, so this update is for the GSM Nexuses that were given to developers. I was wondering if any developer can use this and mod it for possible use and flashing with our One X's? Just wondering. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I think we need source code before we do any major porting. Correct me if im wrong

Jelly Bean officially slated for Galaxy S II LTE

http://www.theverge.com/2012/9/24/3381542/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-android-jelly-bean-update-device-list
Looks like our phones will be getting Jelly Bean from Samsung, after all, or at least the international variant will. I can't imagine Skyrocket won't now unless AT&T puts a roadblock in place. Either way, I'm sure having access to an official version (from any region) will help improve the quality of JB development on our phone.
Probably should have put this in the jb discussion thread.
But, that does look like the international version and I'm not sure that'd help our phone.

Let's keep JB discussion in the designated thread. Awesome news though!

[Q] When is CM10.1 Android 4.2 coming to the HTC One S?

I have seen a lot of videos and post of Android 4.2 being attached to CM10.1 for the I9000/I9000G and other devices. I keep checking 5 times religiously for it but I am only noticing incremental updates and bug fixes for Android 4.1.2 roms.
I know the developers are working very hard but if anyone can relate, it's not fair to us HTC One S users who keep flashing different 4.1.2 roms with 4.2 add ons as it's not the same as an original 4.2 rom.
Since I rooted my HTC One S (s4), I have been flashing various 4.1.2 roms such as: AOKP Milestone 1 / UnofficialAOKP14Nov12, CM10, JB PACman rom, Blackbean 6, Dark Jelly S etc.
Developers, we need 4.2 roms please.

Yep I fully agree. No more development on 4.1.2, start 4.2 roms.

4.2 is supposedly the most bug ridden release yet. It'll get here soon, and all we're missing is the new notifications and lock screen widgets. No big deal really.

But I agree that we're not missing out on much.

I tried to get it started the other week but repo and build kept messing up due to various issues. This seems like a completely useless topic and should be closed!!

Will do. I am concerned about HTC devices though as newer AOSP source codes haven't been exported to create a rom yet, which brings me to a question if their is something wrong with HTC devices like the One S. When the HTC One devices got released, they were released as a group so they should get updates at the same time right? Wrong, HTC One X got Jelly Bean 4.1.1 first and its brother the One S has been left out. Is it hardware related? Who knows? I think this subject should be announced by XDA administrators

Potential for 4.2.2. for our S Advance

Found this interesting news. A list of devices scheduled (when who knows) to get the 4.2.2 update from Samsung. It is only a preliminary list from a Samsung insider and could change. Galaxy S Advance is in the list though.
List of Devices
It also will probably be the last update we get for S Advance.

Would be great. Only if this device can handle it properly ...

hahaa... are you kidding...??
when will we get this..??
there is not even official firmware release everywhere...for 4.1.2 ...
sure we will see in mid 2015 when samsung will release 4.2.2 trial in serbia..
but still happy.. so so so much greedy..
Wanna ask 1 question..that is the last update n will not get key lime pie right?so is there any possibility that a custom rom like key lime pie will be produce?

There is a possibility yes. The activity level of the dev/mod community for the SGA is not the highest though. Might take some time untill we even get some real custom roms based on 4.1.2. Custom roms based on Android 5.0 (or look-alikes) are even more far away...
Thanx..eventhough a rom like android 5 is far more away, in future i hope such rom or alike android 5 will be produce..

Nice :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Maybe as a christmas gift
Even if it will come it's great, this list can change.. (if it will get new touchwiz ui, and/or some features from the s4, even better..)
Great news!, I hope it helps to attract more devs for this device to get cm fully working, when we reach cm 10.1 the next will be an update to cm11 without much effort I think.

With CM10 the work is very hard and now we have android 4.1.2
But we can flash any OS using Odin, if only our device could handle it.

How many cricket users we got here? Picked a couple up on a deep discount. Just gauging user base.
there are a few on android forums. one of them said

not a whole lot of, if any, development for them at all. that I have seen, anyways.

JMZ I am a xda member and cricket user. I would love some more kernel development for this phone. I am really missing being able to duplicate my device screen on my bigscreen tv via an MHL adapter. Any insight and all development for the htc one sv k2_plc_cl cricket version I would be happy to help with. I am not a developer persay however i am pretty knowledgable and easy to instruct. In fact you helped me achieve s-off for my version phone when it was being tested. Thanks and Hats off!!

Well I just got 3.4 kernel booting from source. HTC hasn't released kernel source so I had to port from Boost version. I will probably release this weekend and Sense 5 port to follow.
I need a PLC_CL tester. I don't have service so I need to check if this kernel works with cricket service. Please PM me.
Cricket user. Just flashed back to default recovery to install 4.1.2 (then back to CWM) less than 5 minutes ago. Hopefully this reduces the randomly crashing apps problem I've been having.
