Thank you.

There are only 3 or 4 ROM for X920e. This a one, others are T5/T4/T3, and virtous.

I thought the T5/T4/T3 series by Kufeen was for the x920d?

the all kufeen series are are for x920e they are just based on x920d rom.. bbs.gfan has just 2 rom (as far as i know) for x920d and they are both not good, for me at least.. in short just go for virtuous rom for the best battery and look..

Re: [RUU][X920e]Stock RUU of HTC Butterfly X920
Wouldn't it be a trip if someone were to get this RUU onto their DNA? Convince it that it's a Butterfly via firmware, and then magically S-off...
People do it with graphics cards all the time.

In theory, couldn't you just pull the hboot and apply it to the DNA RUU? Just a thought. If it doesn't work you could always ruu back to stock.

Probably because there is no other forum for butterfly devices? I'd love to have a separate forum for butterfly devices.

Information HTC Butterfly [X920D]/HTC Butterfly [X920E]/HTC J Butterfly

I find information about htc butterfly but discrete about it
I've compiled from the htc butterfly
Reference , it can be mistaken!!!!
Well, I see little reason why anyone would buy this, unless it's going to come discounted. Better technology is basically on the way.
Anyone think the Tsunami has anything to do with waterproof ability of the "J"?
On my HTC Butterfly, model number only stated HTC Butterfly, Malaysian set, is this X920d? No nfc..Damn, this phone is worse than S3 n yet HTC wondering how they get knocked down by the koreans..
I just bought the HTC Butterfly X920d here in Germany and it doesn’t has microsd and it has nfc
That's not X920d, it must be X920e.

My X920d has micro sd slot, but no NFC nor wireless charging; it's weird, the same model is sold with different specs, is it operator exclusive?

The table in the first post is rather inaccurate. A better one can be found at Engadget:
http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/07/htc-droid-dna-butterfly/
It should be noted, that the data is several months old and HTC seems to have changed (read: messed up) the specs for the recent Europe launch, as moom999 mentioned. Having the very same specs all over the world seems to be very challenging and only just 4 variants doesn't seem to be enough.
Is it true x920D is not waterproof?
No, the X920D is waterproof IPX-5
Seems like more ppl are now buying the butterfly now

Butterfly
on the Box ist x920d... bought in Germany from MediaMarkt... on endgaget ist x920e ? (has NFC and no card slot, red dots...)
...plus that in the secret menu (*#*#4636#*#*) I found that it has LTE funktion? there is 100% no clone... but I'm a noob on HTC (had S3 and Nexus4 for that)... where do I have to look on SW so I can figure what I download for root?
Greets.
I also have a european butterfly but there aren't many Rom for this one only the virtuous Rom works fine but in JB 4.1.1 I'm on stock 4.2.2 with sense 5 now but root en and unlock is easy same as x920d only other custom recovery for DLXU trwp can also root the device. Will work good. You can also use the droid DNA all in one tool

Appreciate!!!

Did you try this SENSE 5 rom?

I have installed this rom yesterday. Although i have done everything succesful, it didn't detect any sensor except of sound sensor.
Can you please try it if you have butterfly x920d...
NOS M7 sense 5 rom for DNA/Butterfly
This ROM is not yet fully ready (specifically the kernel for x920d) ... dev said he might release proper one for x920d tomorrow ...
You can install mdeejay's Virtuous Delicious v1 in the meantime here -> http://files.virtuousrom.com/x920d/Virtuous_Delicious_v.1.0.0_X920D.zip

Everything works perfectly, especially for applications running 500MB-700MB ram. Unexpectedly
In sense 4 +, my butterfly takes 1.3GB ram for such app

My friend, the answer would be a no, they are different in terms of Kernel and firmware just like Droid DNA and Butterfly x920D. Also the x920e is slightly different too, from the x920d
Hope I helped! Please press thanks! Thank ya!

Well unlike the International HTC One X, this device is not as popular (comparatively) and much more expensive, so there would be less people & developers using it which would be one of the reasons. Also you have differing versions in Europe and Asia.

As much as I agree with you that's where it stands, in reality. Due to the cost many people are opting for Xperia Zs and Notes (Here in India), though I find the Butterfly better.
