how to set no frills cpu to 800? mine is when i tried to 800 the max and 200 the min.. when i apply it it says that 400 max 200 min.. how to fix this?

have you turn off the cpu power saving on settings> power saving mode?
It will change the max from 400 to 800

Yes with the cpu power saving the max cpu is 400 and the phone works very very slow.

Ok so i was wondering if overclocking this phone is a good idea? i am probably gonna use about 8-900 mhz anywayz. I know its not the most expensive device out there but still its pretty expensive for me xD. So i was wondering if the overclocking it would effect the phone in some way.

I don't feel it really speeds up the phone too much and if you compared a phone with 900 MHz processor as standard with our phone overclocked to 900 MHz processor, the standard 900 MHz processor would be a lot faster. I hope this makes sense. I didn't explain it very well.
For example, compare a HTC desire to our phone overclocked to 1 GHz. The HTC would still be a million times faster.
Anyway, a non-overclocked phone is still quite smooth and i have no problems with it. If you want to overclock, you will get a nice little boost but not a really big boost.

You should set your main profile to max of 800 as its the safest for your cpu although i overclock to 1366/1400 when im gaming . Its faster than not overclocking(for daily usage for me not sure abt other people)

You can look under the index list for the kernel threads of fugumod ultra(OC to 1366) or the official fugumod thread(can OC to 800Mhz) or the G3mod thread(OC to 1200Mhz)

Anyone have problems regarding i9003 overclock at 200mhz? , no matter i do i cant put my fone in 200mhz zone, whether be it, deep sleep or manually using set cpu. my fone is rooted, deodexed, UC kernel v8-fixed and xxkpq. Thks.
**UNDERCLOCK!, for de overclock in this thread, should be underclock*, i guess im carried off lols.
Some phones just cannot haandle the underclock and will freeze.
Edit: sorry didn't see tour question properly, try reflashing the kernel

Have you tried reflashing the kernel? Were you accidentally choosing the Max frequency to unferclock instead of the min?

yupp i did try to reflash i can control my freq to either 200 300 600 800 1200mhz, but i used cpu spy and found out 200mhz is always not 'in use' .

Well same for me, I'm on miui using 120-1350mhz, and so far the cCPU hasn't touched 120mhz. Maybe if you force it with a profile, it will go to that frequency, but be warned to not set on boot, as having such low frequency could result in your phone freezing. Pull the batt if it freeze

to b frank..i dont see such a major diff...but yea loading tym for games gets reduced...and battery drain..ahem ahem..
u got to test wether ur phone supports 1.3 or not..mine dint.. 1.25 is d limit for me..!

No one will recommend to fix max 1.3Ghz. Cause it may over heat your phone due to it is over clock.

Better be on 1Ghz as default. And when multitasking or playing games, OVERCLOCK!! But 1.2 maxx..
And TI OMAP's are powerfull enough,can resist overclocking.
And moreover 1.2 is standart overclocking for our OMAP.

The best frequency is the normal Frequency, it looks like:
Max 604MHz
Min 122MHz
Conservative (for DeepSleep)
if you think, its ok that the phone damages a littlebit everyday, you can use this:
Max 806MHz
Min 122 or 245MHz
Yeah, I prefer a frequency which is not over 750MHz and not under 604MHz... It'll not damage your phone so hard.
My special Tip: Use Adrenaline Engine 4.3 CM or SlaidyBoost. Then it's quick like a hell.

Well locking it to 400 will increase power consumption as not always it is needed that much.
It goes down but the maximum limit remains 400. So I believe you should keep it like that only.
You can set the minimum frequency to 400 mHz with Trickster MOD or No-frills CPU Control.
I don't know why you would be doing this, as you will only squeeze the juice out of your battery faster this way.
