Stock APKs - Xperia Play Themes and Apps

Hi,
Would anyone know where to obtain the stock Google Calendar apk? I'm currently running R800i_4.0.2.A.0.58_EnhancedV2.
I have the FTF for R800i_4.0.2.A.0.58_EnhancedV2 and tried extracting the apks using APK Swapper but keep getting an error and the software closes.
Any help would be much appreciated!

You can rename the .ftf file as .zip to open it and extract its content. Then use FTF Extractor to extract all the apk files from system.sin.
Look here for FTF Extractor download and use: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849867

Cheers mate, thanks for the quick reply. That done the trick! Thread can now be closed.

The newest version of Google Calendar is downloadable from the PlayStore.

But it's ICS only. No GB support at the moment.

Exactly. Would be good if there's a way of porting the ICS version across!

Check the contents of the zip file, if it contains a .ftf file inside it you have to extract and use flashtool to flash it.
If it contains an updater-script then its probably a recovery flashable file, which means it won't work using flash tool.
If you rename and try, you most probably will get an error from the flashtool.
But i doubt its possible to brick your phone that way though
it contains .sin files and meta-inf folder

These are files to be used for recompiling a ROM.
Try searching for ftf file of your choice

FTF files are basically just zip files.
The folder it came in is a compressed folder. It seems you have extracted the contents from it. Make sure you have not hidden known file extensions in the windows options.
If not, just rename the folder to end in .FTF and it will be fine.
Yup, rename the entire folder to .FTF and It will flash just fine.

Are you sure it was a file and not a folder you renamed....
When you download the file do not open it, just move it to the firmware folder

When I try to download it through Xperifirm I get the same problem but it doesn't come as an FTF file. It needs to be to work with PRFCreator.

[REQUEST] Z3 Lollipop System dump

Hi guys . Can any of you who have received Lollipop extract the system dump for us ? It will aid developing and will make everyone happy
Thank You
There are loads of ways of getting this without anyone uploading it.
Just download it from any of the FTF's already shared, or use XperiaFirm or Flashtool to download it straight from the Sony servers yourself.

If I get a chance to upload it, but the common sense thing to do is for you to get ext2explore to work if you have already downloaded the FTF.
How are you converting the system.sin to system.ext4?

Download it using flashtool.
Look in the decrypted folder of the firmware folder, you will see a system.sin
Use flashtool to to dump it as a ext4 and then open it
That's all I did

for Repack files after edit to system.ext4 and after Then system.sin What I do?
You cannot edit and repacj into a ftf file. You need to use the prfcreator to create a prerooted flashable zip file to flash in recovery

It's a better way than just renaming ftf to zip but his problem is that Flashtool doesn't work on his PC
@Chronoxl, You can try to convert it with an Android Kitchen tool like "Assayyed kitchen" from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ch...-android-roms-editor-assayyedkitchen-t3410545
I use it to convert elf boot to img but not tried to convert the whole firmware, it works for others Xperia.
