I think it might actually be compatible, if the difference is only the color and storage size.

Official Specs of Samsung Galaxy Nexus (prototype unit)

The greek insider who confirmed iphone 4S (before everyone else: http://goo.gl/FGSbH) brings to us the real specs of Samsung Galaxy Nexus...
TIME WILL TELL HEAVEN OR HELL...
1.1280×720 pixels / 4.65" / 315ppi
2.16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM (micro sd extension no supported)
3.The prototype unit was running a dual-core cpu at 1.2....no info if it was the new exynos but he thinks production model will be clocked at 1.5Ghrz like galaxy S2 (the prototype of galaxys2 was running a 1Ghrz CPU)
4.5MP back campera and 1.3 in front
5.Ice Cream Sandwich is very similar to honeycomb.
6.No metal back cover but instead a plastic one in champagne colour and a little rough like GS2.
7.No info about battery capacity cause they haven't decided yet...
8.Vodafone exclusive in Europe with a November launch...
9.Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the official Name.

again... wtf? why Google... WHY!?
i surely hope those specs are wrong...
No microSD expansion?
I agree. I decided against the Nexus S for the same reason. I need a place to put my 32GB microSD.

or 64GB microSD if $200 price tag is not too expensive (a bit hard to swallow if IMO, i rather have 2 x 32 microSD )
it has been proven that all Samsung Galaxy S and variants can format and use the 64 GB microSD without any changes
just need to format the 64GB with the phone
Personally i dont care about internal storage or camera specs..my main concern is the exynos....i want the new CPU not the same with GS2.
Please include microSD (at least 1)
5MP back campera and 1.3 in front

I call BS just for that one part. Cannot be. Period.
And what are they smoking to put just 16 GB internal & still leave out ext SD?
I dislike most of these stats.
All these leaked stats are killing me -- I can't wait for an official announcement.
I hope these are not the specs.
2.16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM (micro sd extension no supported)
WHAT??? We need our sd cards if we are coming from most Android phones.
4.5MP back campera and 1.3 in front
This is just like my current Galaxy S (i9000) =.=
4.5mp camera? What's with the downgrade?
PUKE spects! B.S. on this SD would be for devs of Android!
Ya, lets hope this is pure B.S. No SD card? They know this will be the flagship Android dev phone.. that would be totally STUIPD, to not include SD support.
I too call B.S. on this...
And.. next rumor..

lol, Sorry, looked different from my phone.
Is the Nexus Prime supposed to be better spec-wise than Galaxy SII? If so, I might want to hold getting the Galaxy SII.
Notice that the list is numbered, 1. 2. 3. 4. etc. So when you see 2.16GB internal storage, that should read #2 - 16GB of internal storage, same goes for 4.5 MP camera, that is actually #4 - 5MP camera.

Actually, if the camera is high-quality...like maybe a dedicated Canon point & shoot, 5MP would not matter to me in the least. I had a 2MP P&S for a long time and was perfectly satisfied with it. 5MP, if the camera is of high-end quality, would be icing on a cake.
this phones gonna be sick
will this be overall better than the S2
Please god let there be either 32gb storage built in OR an SD card slot. The lack of SD put me off the Nexus S.
This is my theory on processors.
It cannot be the Exynos that is in the Galaxy S2 for one reason. T-Mobile rejected the Exynos because it can't do LTE. Sammy has since then released the newer Exynos featured in the Galaxy S2 HD and S2 LTE (Korea only).
Now , whether or not its the OMAP 3460 or the newer Exynos is a mystery to me. I just wanted to rule out the older Exynos for those who cared.

Specs for the US WiFi version

I am looking at the specs from the Samsung website about the Note and there are 2 things that I find strange.
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab/GT-N8013EAVXAR-specs
1. They are saying the Note only supports a 32 GB MicroSD card. That seems confusing because I believe one of their videos even talks about it supporting 64 GB so I am wondering which is correct.
2. On the US site there is no mention of the IR port. I know it is not a deal breaker but I thought it was kind of cool. Is the US version not coming with this?

It seems the "Bestbuy" one has the IR port
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...&defurl=false&viewtype=Alternate View 6&h=488
But its not mentioned anywhere in the specs
-TB-
I haven't seen too many tablets or phones that say they support 64GB microSDs, but many of them do.
The US version definitely has the IR port as well.
I have the Note - Phone. I have a San disk 64gb card in it and it works well. I would assume this will work in the tablet as well.
I want this thing so bad.
The Noteworthy Note. Running OBJECTION rc1 UCLF5 / h0tw1r3's r5s1 OC.
The 64gb cards do work but only if formatted as fat32. It doesn't support exfat (I assume that exfat support welcome in an update soon. Hardware wise the note is very similar to the international S3 which supports exfat)

[Q] a special edition of N8010?

Recently I found a special edition of n8010 called engerneering edition or something,
It differs from the general n8010,it has a exynos 4410 dual-core CPU and only 1g ram.
(general edition has exynos 4412,Quad-core CPU and 2g ram, else are the same)
Now it has a system of android 4.0.3,every ROM for general n8010 dosen't work on this one.(A poor guy has tried this, and, thanks th him~!)
so I wanna know if I'd use android 4.0.4 or higher version, how?
Is it easy for ROM modifing?
Well,plz ignore my poor English~~

Its Likely real.. Samsung created a version of the Note 10.1 with alot less power. There were huge issues with its speed. I think it might have been sold to one test market or maybe just there testers. Anyway samsung then decided to NOT sell the device. The upgraded the cpu ram and a used faster memory and that is the one that we all have .
I do not remember all of the details but the above could be somewhat incorrect. I DO know there was a dual core 1 gb version that never made it to mass production . So that note seems to be one of them

Well, one of them I know,is reselled electronic waste with a terrible shell. So I think it almost impossible to be a fake one.
The one with perfect shell is about 180 USD,or 1100 rmb.

Yes that's it.The seller told me the same thing. He said that They're exactly for test use,and he got them by some ways.
If ROM modifing for specified CPU is easy, maybe I'll consider to get one~
May this pic help you.

I read it as a bought product .
But yes there have always been test products floating around or Sales Demo models .
The kernel on this one suggests it is one of the test jobs .
Multiple users bought S3 demo model that had no network .

Upgrade Memory Device Nexus 5 16GB

I want the Nexus 5 has a larger memory, currently it only has 16GB. Too little
I understand there are two ways to upgrade the memory device :
1. Insert a Memory Card
2.Rather Chip Me 32-64-128Gb
What plan should I choose : 1 or 2
3. Buy 32GB version.

its 2016! still 16gb Wow!.... go for emcc chip 32gigs!
When changing the memory to 32 GB have i to do any system modifications, programming the chip ? or only replace the memory. [emoji54]
You would have to change the motherboad to increase the memory to 32 gb. You cannot replace the memory chip yourself.
Edit: I am wrong because it looks like you can replace the memory chip.
http://www.xda-developers.com/nexus-5-hardware-modded-to-64gb-internal-storage-by-replacing-emmc/
Actually you can... if you have some decent soldering / reflowing skills and can purchase a compatible 32GB eMMC... there's a thread or two around about a guy upgrading a 16gb one to 64gb (but had to do some partition manipulation etc because there's no offical 64gb version.)
I'd love to see how someone replaced the chip because those solder points are so fine. I could never find any threads where someone was successful. Also, I could not even find anyone that successfully replaced a damaged sim slot.
Edit: yup, looks like it can be done.

I need to study more, not as simple as I thought

Difference between 34 and 64GB versions?

Hey all, was considering upgrading to S7 flat. Was wondering if there was any difference in compatibility of ROMs etc. between 32 and 64 GB versions?
Australian, so most likely going to be 930F.

There is no 64gb version.
Actually is not really 32gb, is much less than that, but gladly we can use microsd to expand the memory as much as 200gb

24gb to be exact, once you start adding vr stuff the space quickly disappears, plus you can't move vr stuff to the sdcard which sucks.
You can always emulate the sdcard to work as the phone internal storage.

Regarding the VR, that shouldn't even be allowed as it completely trash our eyes and also affects our brain, causing headaches etc. It's nice to try out, not to use regularly.

Guess I have no choice (although I was probably going to get the 32 anyways). And now I know that all 930F will be supported. Thanks for clearing this up!
I dont think 64 is better then a 32 because wit hthe nougat update you can push all apps to the sd card so get the 32gb and a fast sd card and you good to go.
