Great tks, will try this shortly. Does this require root access w/ CWM? I understand rooted S3's show a yellow exclamation mark when they boot? If you revert to the stock ROM and unroot, does this go away (i.e. is there a way to return it to true factory state w/o leaving signs it had been modded, in case we send it back for service under warranty?)

Yes, it requires root. There are no current method in returning the unit to stock without the factory state (flash count reset). chainfire is working on it.

Doesn't work on the T-Mobile UK stock ROM (rooted)
Hi,
Jus tried this mod and it installed fine without error in CWM but on bootup the SystemUI.apk keeps erroring and closes down, so no menu & notification bars and unable to answer phone calls!
Luckily I'm not a noob and did a nandroid backup first, so I extracted the original SystemUI.apk and .odex files and copied them into system/apps and rebooted so I'm back up and running fine again.
FYI my phone's details:
Samsung Galaxy SIII LTE
Android Version: 4.1.1 (Rooted but otherwise stock)
Model: GT-I9305
Baseband: I9305BVALI5
Build: JRO03C.I9305XXALI5

Did you delete SystemUi.odex ,after flash this mod?
because this only work for deodex rom!

Nope, didn't remove the .odex as it didn't mention it in the OP?
Will maybe try it again later on
UPDATE 10/10 - It works with the .odex file removed not Reboot to recovery option though, boo! lol

I followed your tip. It clarified what OP may have implied. However, OP could be updated to include a note to delete "SystemUi.odex".
It will make things simpler even for noobs.
Cheers.

Thanks. It was my careless mistake that I did not remove the SystemUI.odex.

Thanks alot Kazuni.. This is just what i was looking for.. I flashed it and it worked.. just a small request, could you make the background of the notification transparent? coz i saw one done by F1tty but too bad his mod doesn't have the 15 toggles.. i was able to change the colors of the notifications and centre clock but juz couldn't make the bg transparent.. here's my screenshots..

Sorry but may i know how to change the color from blue to green
Find that green color feels better to my eyes
Thank you

Thanks for this!
I would also like to know how to change the colours and have a transparet background please?

I'll provide the mod with all three colors - blue, green and red =)

Yes I understand that but my question is; can the transparent background be included in the 15 Toggles mod or do we have to use F1tty's mod to get the Transparent background? Eitherway it does not really matter, it was just a question for me to understand a little better. Thanks.

just check the framework folder and see if there are any odex files.
If you had used the deodex zip file I had posted earlier, there was a problem with framework deodex. Download the latest one and flash it.

Dude that is why there is recovery and backup. Use it before playing with your phone. Things don't always work the same for all. It may work for some and it absolutely works for me.
So always keep a backup ready for these situations.
And to solve ur problem, reflash the deodex.zip via cwm.
works fine without prob...
using circle batt...nice work
EDIT: Also has Extended Power Menu
Thanks I guess deodexing was the prob I'll try deodexing again with the latest file you uploaded

Thanks to u man for the 10 Locks. It is very nice.
UFF it's possible to KPN???
Thanks a lot...great job
I'm using Flat Sense and one problem i'm having is that when i'm trying to set lockscreen delay or lockscreen timeout in EDT tweaks, i get a force close
I've set delay behaviour as "Lockscreen will never delay"
but there is still delay in lockscreen with screen timeout, no delay with power button
Is it supposed to work like that or can u suggest something to me to fix it
Another wierd things that is happening is that my phone keeps rebooting when kept on charge, its already happened like 5-6 times. Please suggest.
Cheers

i am just wondering are you sure this mod has been shared by the criskelo...why i am saying let me explain first!
1. I ported the 15 toggles mod from s3 which was done by the wannam
2, I forgotten to remove the hamster string in the code which displays "wanam lite ROM" when you click reboot, that is present in this toggle mod as well... and i am sure criskelo wont do that, becuase he himself is a developer who has written the 15 toggles code from scratch after another developer rejecting his request to use the 15 toggles mod!
3. Criskelo would have been surely removed the hamster string i.e, which i dont find it been removed!
<string name="hamster">WanamLite ROM</string>
so please confirm whether is it really been shared by the criskelo! Still no offence just request for clarification!

Is there a fix for bluetooth? Or can anyone post the original LRG systemui?

[REQ] 1% Circle Battery from Kinda Crap Mods

Hello,
I am running the latest 4.1.2 update on my Verizon Galaxy S III, which makes the Kinda Crap Mods not work propertly, and the mod is not looking to be updated.
I have extracted 2 sets of icons, one blue, and the other green, that are the icons required for the Circle Battery Icons, and the files need to be created to have the 1% icons work. I tried doing this myself, and it did not change percentages as expected. That's why I am posting here.
What I was looking for is to have a recovery flashable file with the AROMA installer, that gives the option for blue or green. That's all.
I am in no way an Android "mod maker" myself, but if there are basic things that could use some help, I'm here.
Thanks to whoever can make this happen!

Try this and let me know if it works for you.... Flash in recovery or extract the systemui.apk from it and push it to your system/app folder. it replaces your systemui.apk so if you have other mods done to it, they most likely will be lost. this is the green one if it works i'll put the blue one... thanks
I too am interested in this. I'm very happy with CleanRom 6.0 r2 and have no desire to load up all the other stuff that people seem to want to do. I just want the circle battery mod back.

thanks,

I just installed this via recovery, unfortunately it appears to not have worked. Anything I can send to you to assist I will do so.

If the rom has the option to change your battery within the settings, pick the stock option and it should work. Otherwise PM me your SystemUI.apk if that doesn't work and either later tonight or tomorrow morning I'll make another one that works and post it here

[MOD][i9505] Kitkat Icons for Status bar / GPE Dialer - fixed FC on rejected call

Hi fellow xda,
If you like Samsung Rom, but do not like parts of its apps/UI as I do. Here're something we can do; kitkat-like status bar and GPE dialer.
Kitkat white battery, wifi, and other status icons. Integrated Data/Wifi with Service icon:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
GPE dialer from 4.3 i9505GUEUBMH5: enabled Auto Complete, fixed forced close on rejected call:
Download for stock deodexed XXUEMJ7:
Status bar: mj7-systemui-kk-signed.zip
Dialer/Contact: mj7-gpe-dialer-signed.zip
Download for stock deodexed XXUEMK8:
Status bar: mk8_kitkat-sysui_noampm.zip: + black status bar, clock without am/pm.
Dialer/Contact: mk8-gpe-dialer-signed.zip + enable CRT screen off.
Bonus:
AOSP lockscreen for MK8: mk8-aosp-lockscreen-signed.zip Change settings in Settings > My device > Lock screen > Unlock effect > None.
Warning:
Dialer Package includes modified services.jar which skip signature check, this package replaces SecContacts.apk with Contacts.apk and Dialer.apk. Contacts app will forced close continuously until you navigate to Settings > More > Application Manager > All > Contacts and clear its cache.
Dialer app won't show in app drawer, you have to use quickshortcutmaker of similar app to create a shortcut for home screen.
Side note: Samsung command like *#0011# *#0*# .. works because the dialer is from Samsung GPE
Credits:
All dev here at XDA and other place around the globe, I forgot the source... I'll find it later.
As precaution, please make usual backup. I'm not responsible for boot loop/brick result from above packages :cyclops:

Sure, I can give it a try, but I'll be away from computer a few days tomorrow.
Hi bro. Great job. Can you make one that looks like that of Sense 5/5.5? Thanks
Thanks again, I attached SystemUI.apk from MJ8.
Strange thing, I have nandroid backup MJ7 (GOLDENEYE ROM) and after I flashed your SystemUI I had same thing like in MJ8, phone boots OK but there's no status bar nor wallpaper. As far as I know SystemUI from GOLDENEYE is stock without any modifications.

You can search here how to compile/recompile... and for touchwiz rom, just add the framework.apk and twframework.apk. And what I've changed are the icons located in \res\drawable-xxhdpi and for the integrated signal and data, I've change res\layout\signal_cluster_view.xml. I attach the file here so you can compare the different.
Please keep in mind that the spacing in this file fit with signal bar icons I replaced.

If you meant the font in transparent status bar in my screen shot, it's because I use Xposed framework and Wanam exposed to use Condensed font. But kitkat also release new thin/light/condensed fonts... to me, I don't see any different but if you want you can check in my attachment.

I'm sorry to hear it never work for you, I don't really know what is the problem too. I use file from @DjeMBeY so it's stock deodexed.

I don't have any 4.4 dialer. What you see here is only 4.4 google home, or maybe you mean something else?

This is my 1st Moded Apk after several successful Themed Apks for both Note 3 and S4
Links are in my signature
Moded SystemUI.apk
Bigger Clock & Battery Text Size In Status Bar
Lock Button In status Bar, with 1 touch you can lock your screen
Bigger Date Text Size & Semi Transparent Background In Pull Down Status Bar & Notification Panel
APK is tested on N9005 latest KK 4.4.2 NC2 stock rom odexed, But should work also on N900 and on any other KK rom odexed or deodexed (need testers to provide feed back)
Download
http://d-h.st/x04
Just place the zip file in your mobile, reboot to your advanced recovery, flash and enjoy (No need to wipe)
Be aware this will replace your SystemUI.apk with the new moded one, you will lose any mods from your rom or themed icons located in systemUI.apk, you can get your themed icons back by re-flashing your theme
BACKUP your system (NAND) or original apk before flashing, it is your choice and your responsibility
The only way (so far) to revert/uninstall/go back to previous state is by re-flashing your rom / restore your nand backup / or push back your original apk
Pls. verify which rom and Bulid do you use and your phone model, to check compatibility
I must thank _alex74_ for guiding me through the mod build
If u liked the moded apk just hit Thank You button, and if u did not like it (Realllly!!!) just leave in peace
This is my 2nd Moded Apk
Moded SecLauncher4.apk

Great! Thank so much. I am waiting for your fix soon on my N900S
The fix will include extra feature also
Can the 4g LTE moved closer and lowered to the signal bars?? Everything else works and looks perfect..

the icon is for all models, but these arrows are for US models, so lowering the icon will mix with arrows for International models, stupid google!
the only solution is to have a moded file for US models only
