how to install :
1. for user still use stock recovery :
- download CWM_V6.0.1.2_GT-S7500.tar

- put it on pda at odin...flash it till said "PASS"

yes v 6 is in touch, but the other function is same as it's originaly
we have built it one but it's still have many bug so the dev disable the touch function maybe next update..but i think touch function can be very2 dangerous for us if we forget and hit something like wipe or format
the odin they can find out there lol
md5sum is use to make sure that u have download the original file, if someone recompile it, it will give different msmds5sum, it look like fingerprint of the file

Maybe touch will be buggy but many people want touch recovery and it may also attract other devs to work on our device because it seems our device has more development compared to new devices like ace 2 and s advance and on the top of it we are getting jelly bean too...

Cant get into recovery mode
Please help I have done step one and installed the PDA via ODIN.
Now however I want to go to the recovery mode so I can continue the root process by executing that .bat file as mentioned in the post but it simply boots normally without going into recovery mode.
What I have tried so far,
1) Vol UP + home + power
2) Vol Down + home + power (gives download mode)
3) Vol UP + Vol Down + home + power
4) home + power
All these combinations two times once with power button continuously pressed for a few seconds as well as Power Button just pressed and released.
Kindly advice what I am doing wrong.
My Device is GT - S7500
Android - 2.3.6
Kernel - 2.6.38.6 [email protected]#1

Can this recovery be made to work for S7500L? I am currently using recovery from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1725198 but I get Recovery Mode Boot loop.
I have not found any other working CWM for S7500L. If anyone knows of one please post.

A few days ago Mr.doky release newest firmware [DXLF1] for asian region .. blablabla
In here I wanna share of deodex DXLF1 Stock ROM flashable on cwm ..
Go to the point :
1. Flash latest firmware first via odin [DXLF1] (Go to Mr.Doky thread) (flash-dont use 'pit'!)
2. next, ROOT your phone before, you can get it on About Root
3. after downloading file (put on / SD-card)
3. Turn off and go to Recovery (Press VOL + Home button + Power) [anybody know this:]
4. use / install / flash on CWM ..
5. then choose deodex DXLF1 Stock ROM - CWM
6. Reboot your phone..
7. Enjoyy

oh yeah I forgot it master..
I remove some unnecessary apk files .. so It's look small..
I asked since the smallest rom package I've ever seen, 80mb. if you said that it already contain all files and folder under /system then it will be fine. ...and please don't call me master. I'm just another noob here (lol)

For Stock DDMF2, follow this step or skip it if prefer your own stock..
: NOOB GUIDE :first...download this Odin pack firmware to pc and extract it...

Download Odin (Latest version)

run Odin, on your phone make sure to tick USB debugging in settings> applications> development,
then turn off phone and enter download mode (press vol down + home + power) then connect usb to pc,
u will notice [com port] with Light Blue color on Odin.
Click PDA to select stock firmware.
dont tick others, then START to flash the firmware...wait till the box turn green and you're done

After fresh install your stock rom via Odin,
Download CWM (i prefer v5.5)
(Flash this same like above through ODIN)
Download following zips & place in SD-Card,
this will flash through CWM :
Download ROOT SGAP with CWM.zip
(extract it you get RootMe.zip which flash through CWM)
Download GT-S7500DDMF2(DEODEX).zip
LOL its Just another stock Rom guies
Now you are ready to do any kind of modifications in your stock rom too...

1.check download file again if corrupt or not
2.download cwm version which i gave there
(coz v6 is not stable yet)
3.do root your device first
(its necessary before u dealing with system files)
4.give a try with wipe data/ catch before & after flash zip
5.provide me logcat coz m nt getting any dream about your issue by just telling
(no offence)
& last u sure u read fourm before

that snapshot was taken from CM10 not from GB rom... ( sorry for that i just check it out it is working with all versions or not )
but yeh u can use S4 launcher on your GB rom too

Sorry didn't understand the themeing part but it's not fully touch but navigation keys are touch based.

May be I have not asked my question clearly. Is the CRT recovery uses the same clockworkmod folder in SD card which is being created while using CWM recovery?

Yes I understood it. It is all same like original CWM recovery. It uses the same folder created by CWM recovery.

That's already I told that @Koush has removed it from CWM. Is not missing. Whenever you wipe cache or flash any patch it automatically fixes permission.

My touch got replaced and after that TWRP doesnt register touch inputs!!
So i believe this will persist in these recoveries too ?
And can cwm bkp be restored with this (foolish but just wana cnfrm before experimenting)
Lastly both recoveries are same, right? Just aroma File Manager is addition in one of the recoveries ?

Firstly regarding touch modules I'm not sure but you can give it a try. It's worth trying. Yes CWM backup can be restored with it.
Lastly no both are not same. CTR recovery is touch based and other one is normal.

small glitch
@BOND1987, Using the Key Test option creates some issue. The on screen touch buttons are gone and the "Home", "Menu", "Back" "Vol" & "Power" button doesn't work. I had to remove the battery to fix this. See if anything can be done for this. Otherwise awesome recovery. I like it.

I have made that but in my phone if I flash I m loosing wifi may be coz of knox...if u are ok to test i will make it and upload in while u flash it and see

Sorry, also for my english! i follow your metod, we copy files with adb command. On the first try i have bootloop. So reinstall rom and try to install only app, but after reboot i see only older app. I try to go in app directory with a root explorer and i see that older file ( original app) and new ( your app) differs in file permission,

Which rom are you using and have you copied the extracted zip folders to phones internal root memory and then did the adb process as it's tested and works fine but u must have deodexed rom
Edit : ALso try using the command line one by one without any error u can copy paste also

i use legend rom..i have do everything step by step! But problem solved putting apk directly in rom cwm zip that i install after a cache wipe.
p.s. i don't like some small icon (contacts and mms.apk) and the overscroll effect...but it's my opinion thank's for your theme

I found a problems in this ROM:
Booting problems(every reboot or recovery I stuck at bootlogo then goes blank then back to boot logo again many times)
Recovery(we rebooting to recovery I stuck on bootlogo then goes blank and boot to normal)
When charging(I turned off my phone and it goes to the screen where the battery shows but it didn't it reboot in normal)
Possible Solutions:Enable Advanced Reboot on Developer Options OR Reinstall the ROM Again with the Advanced Reboot Enable(Tested and fixed on reboot,recovery,hot reboot,boot loader)
The ROM was really fast at all but I noticed the animations in developer options.
All Some MODs are in Performance Option but why not in Interface?(Nah, Its ok in that option )

Lola the ROM has the booting problems(when powering up the phone the bootlogo is looping many times)
