Droid Razr Apps - Galaxy Note 10.1 Themes and Apps

Can I transfer my apps on my Droid Razr which also uses 4.0.4 to my Note using Titanium Backup

Next time ask a question in the question and answers thread and yes you can just move the TitaniumBackup folder from your Razr to the note.

Not system apps though. Dont transfer those.

Apex never came out for the dx2 thats why you have a bootloop. Go to the dx2 section and go to the development thread and choose the stickie that has all the sbf and roms currently available for the dx2.
You are going to need to sbf most likely to fix whats going on with your phone first.

[Q] Getting htc one s

I've been an iPhone user ever since they canned out. I unlocked and jailbroken them. My upgrade is due in a month and I wanna get a htc one s. i was just wondering do u really need to root it to get free applications and themes?
Also if I was root it what are my benifits
you dont need to root to get free apps from Google store. Rooting is required for themes though. Rooting is not necessary on android, most ppl root for theming and use it to install roms and backup application and data

For the basic user, rooting is a way to use their phone as a wifi hotspot for free as opposed to paying their carrier a monthly fee. For the average/experienced user, rooting allows you to put custom roms onto your phone. As opposed to apple which makes everything more difficult, you don't need to root your phone in order to get free apps like jags_the1 said. You can always download apk files to root of your sd card and install it from there.

[XOOM2] [Q] Recovery question

1 - So now that there's a customer recovery, that means creating custom roms should be pretty simple correct? Or would there still have to be an opion to boot into a "safe strap" style partition to install the roms?
2 - I know with the boot manager on the motorola droid razr, it allows you to install a rom directly into the system partition that doesn't have to be a signed rom...would that be a POTENTIAL possibility now that theres CWR available?
I ask because I'd like to try to build a rom for the first time.....ever...and I'm curious about what limitations I'll have
It is quite likely that some if not all of Razr XT910 hacks might be used, as the overall architecture (OMAP4430, MDM6600) is similar....

What is the best Backup App?

Hi, I'm planning on upgrading to a new ROM on my Xoom and was just wondering what is the best app that will backup everything on my tablet including the apps. I have looked at titanium backup but I'm not sure about it. If anyone had this app or any other backup app please post it here. Any help will be appreciated.
I use TiBu to back up on my bionic (just because I had it already) but I use Rom Tool Box pro on my xoom. Rom tool box gives you a lot of other options for root users that are handy to have.

Thanks
Thanks heaps for that, I think I'll check out the pro version.
