Charging icon issue - Samsung Focus 2

Okay so this is whats going on, my phone has started to act up since yesterday, this is what happens: When I turn off, its screen is slow responsive, when I touch it sometimes it feels my touch but nothing happens, if I connect the device to the computer, or to a USB cable charger, the issue dissapears, but when I disconnect the phone, my battery changes between the icon of the battery status, and a battery with a cable on it (as if it was connected or charging) it keeps changing between those two forever, works just fine, but if I turn the phone off and turn it on again, issue reappears, then I have to connect it for it to work properly.
I have already done a factory reset through Settings>About> Reset.
Any thoughts on that?

HTC sensation XE not turning on and no charge light

So today I was using my phone and then i could turn the screen back on. So i pulled out the battery and tried to turn it back on, however it didnt work. I tried plugging in the charger, but there wasn't any orange charging light (it was on around 60-50% battery when it stopped working). I tried connecting it to a pc, but there was nothing, i couldnt access the sd card and there was nothing on the device manager. I tried doing the volume down and power button and other stuff, after a while i managed to get the phone to boot up but it died before it made it to the lock screen (not charging). Is there away to fix it?

Try removing your battery and then plug in the cable connected to PC USB. I would also try doing the same with a unix based system, just to be sure that there are no driver issues(though windows should at least show an unrecognised device in device manager).
Also, can you keep it on charge for some time and see if the phone feels a bit hot...? If not, it seems to be hardware fault.

Maybe your phone is bricked, but the way you explained it seems like a hardware problem !
Do you have warranty ?

I CAN NOT charge my smartphone Charge only off or Bootloader

I CAN NOT charge my smartphone Charge only off or
Bootloader is the way it recognizes correctly when connecting and disconnecting the usb cable
Android System Started
On with the USB Cable: Indicates the battery icon as charging but in the state of the phone "indicates you are not ****ting", so disconnect and disconnect the cable does not recognize
On without the USB Cable: Does not recognize anything, neither connect nor disconnect
Loading with the Off: load very slow; By moment turns on and off the screen and shows the logo and then the percentage of battery
same problem but solved finally
Switch off your phone/ let the battery drained to null(recommended)
Try to start your phone at 0% to drain battery.
Screen will show 0% or plug icon.
Then connect charger then , then switch on plug of charger.
After few minutes screen will show battery at 3%.
Let it charged without disturbing, it may take more time.
In my case it take 1-2 days to fully charged.
After fully charged, notification light will show on speaker, then disconnect charger and turn your phone on.
Hope this will solve your problem.
If not repeat same procedure.
***Never turn your phone on/restart while charging it may create the same problem***
If the problem not solved, uninstall or disable "charging related noise problem" system app.
Problem solved
After trying to solve the problem by placing different ROMs and until flashing the Firmware the solution was the following
As the only way to properly load the phone was by bootloader mode; Leave charging the phone that way about 5 hours lego ignited the equipment even charging and that way began normal operation the equipment

Dead GFlex2: get LG logo but no startup (or Recovery)

My LG G Flex 2 H950 was working fine, running google maps and playing music, plugged in to the car charger. Within minutes of leaving the car the phone was dead - I could not power it on. I can usually get it to show the LG logo by trying to start in Recovery Mode (holding the power and volume-down buttons for several seconds) but then the logo just disappears after a few seconds and the phone does not power on. But sometimes when I try this the red LED blinks on the phone screen and the logo may or may not appear. Sometimes (50%) when I plug the phone in to my Windows 10 desktop, the computer plays a tone to indicate a new device has been connected, but no icon appears in the list of hard drives or devices.
I think the battery is charging normally - when I connect the phone to a USB volt meter it usually (but not always) shows a normal amount of amperage flowing, and just now when I tried to start the phone it showed the battery charge icon on the phone screen (it doesn't usually do this) and showed 100% charge.
Is there anything else I can try, even if just to get the phone running long enough to backup my text messages etc?
Is there any way to test what's actually wrong? I'd hate to spend money on a new battery or charging port etc for a slim chance to temporarily fix a phone that seems like it's dying.
Thanks for any advice or suggestions...
Hey, i've got the same problem since today. i was watching youtube videos when the phone suddenly stopped working. did you already find the problem?
Sorry for my bad englisch ( Dutch)
No - not solved, phone still dead. Still would love to hear any advice...
I used to have the exact same problem as you - bootloops at the LG logo, no recovery etc. After some reading it seemed that the battery was the root of the problem, and after replacing the battery my phone was back to life - no issues ever since. I recommend you check if the battery is the issue by connecting it to a normal charger (i.e. not charging from a PC) and powering it on, by holding the power button at the battery charging screen. If it powers on normally then it's most likely a battery issue, which can be easily fixed. Cheers!

After Battery Replaced, Screen dead?

My phone's battery has been bad for a while now, and its just been sitting in a desk for about a year. I replaced the battery since my sister wanted to use it and upon turning on the phone again, I am getting screen feedback but only in the form of a black screen. I don't see any bootup screens, even if I try to go into recovery mode. Once again, the screen still lights up black if I do things like plug in the charger or press the power button. I've reseated the display cable and battery cable but to no avail. HiSuite recognizes that it's plugged in (although I can't do anything because HDB is disabled). Anyone have any ideas on why the screen is dead?
Make sure all connections are firmly connected.

Xperia 1 II issue

Hey,
I bought the Sony Xperia 1 II today, charged, set it up, moved all the stuff from my old phone to it, all went perfect.
Then I decided I'd move music onto it, this is where the issues began.. I plugged the cable into the back of my PC but neither the phone or the PC would recognize eachother.. After some fiddling, plugging and unplugging, I finally managed to put the phone into file transfer mode.
After I was done with the transfers, I unplugged the USB cable and the phone turned off.. Now I have to have it plugged to the charger or I have to hold the power button to use it.
Any ideas? My guess is that it's stuck in some USB limbo. I've been wanting to clear the cache partition but I have no idea how to get to it on this phone.. Also not really feeling like doing a factory reset since it'd mean sitting through all the app setups, logins and jazz.
Thanks.
tl;dr
Phone turns off when you unplug USB/charger, works perfectly fine when plugged in or when you hold down the power button (it boots and lets you use the screen like normal, just a bit awkward ofc).
