i lost my phone so i think this thread can be closed.

[KERNEL] The unknown kernel for I9103LA build with CWM 5.0.2.8 [REV 1.2a]

So this is it, this is the patched I9103ZCLD4 kernel with voodoo sound, but also with the latest CWM built from CM repo as well as ro.secure = 0.
The rev 1.2a builds have made the following changes :
- Boost the performance change by using several specific gcc and linker options.
- Make a kernel based on I9103ZCLD4 instead.
However the following parts still remain, and I will finish them once I made the I9103XWLA4 build :
- Try to compile the kernel with '2 way calling recording enabled'
- Made modification on the default.prop and init.rc which can further boost the performance.
- Try to port touchable recovery to the system.
- Update recovery image to use I9103ZCLD4 recovery kernel.
So right now, it should be okay for you guys to install superuser from the market. And yea, enjoy the fun of using a rooted kernel.

Just flash the tar.md5 file via odin in the PDA tab.

To get rooted, just install superuser from the market. su binary is already put in the ramdisk to use.
Download : Revoked as the 1.2a causes problem on installing application
btw, since Rev 1.2a, my kernel will be called Ultimate kernel instead of Unknown kernel. I will add a string to build number to identify that later.

It is in the ramdisk already, just unpack it yourself.

I understand that the wipe Battery Stats in this version does not work!

I quoted by mistake. I don't see recovery files in ramdisk. Galaxy R has separate recovery partition.

Just so you know, kernels don't control 3D.

screenshots? and since this being a cyanogen type rom dare I ask about the wifi? is it stable?

I have pandaballs CM 7.2+ U jelly v1.6 but when I put your kernel I lost root,and I cant install su again.

I want to meet the person who packaged this kernel and slap him.
Try the package attached. Not sure if it will work, just quickly fixed the cwm zip to remove unnecessary flashing steps.
No idea how/why this breaks root. Nothing I saw can break root, unless it's kernel related (very unlikely).

SU is missing.I open supersu and it says no su found.I unistall supersu and install it again but its the same.I made a folder with system/bin inside the zip with the kernel but nothing.

Bluetooth problems. Not turn on bluetooth. Very fast and fluid. Great job.
Tested with cm-7-20120729-NIGHTLY-p920 and cm-7-stable.

I asked the creator, to see what he says ...

The su binary doesn't flash properly?
In any case, I would advise people to stay away from this kernel given that it doesn't like root a lot.

No it flashes ok but when I open superuser it says no su found.I go to system/ bin and its there.nevermind.hope for an update from your side for cm 7.2+ when you have time

i think there is no need of cm 7.2 as we have cm 10.1 and cm 10 and may be we will get cm 10.2 also

Yes! Everything is stable and tested for some day before to be released (it's the aim of Test Builds ) But I have to manipulate directly code in sources in order to apply UV 'cause our device platform doesn't have the voltage controller

and i would like to report that with this kernel i m getting real slow int connection almost nothing by the way that your rom Aces_Droid_Plus is an art peace :good:

so... this works with any GB based ROM?
and are there any bugs?
P.S. well im testing it now with inspiration v17.1 and it works very well... but there is a big problem. Some apps that require SuperUser acces just don't work; for example "Seeder" app from that rom asks for permission but the app says the device could not be rooted properly. For the moment is the only app that has this problem with this kernel but there could be more

Well the problem is only with this app and i found somenthing in the "Seeder's" thread.
some people have the same problems using custom kernels and a guy says that the kernel developer has to make a frandom fix.
well i don't know what is that so i can fix it myself :laugh:

[MOD]Kernel Tweaks for Mido[v13][Final Version]

Hello!
Decided to share my setup of tweaks for cpu/gpu governors, I/O scheduler, zram and some more. Should work on AOSP ROMs(TESTED) and MIUI(NOT TESTED). Don't know if it works on Android 10. Else should be good.
What it does?
It is adding init and script files to kernels ramdisk via AnyKernel3 template.
Requirements:
- magisk or su(needed to execute script on boot).
Download:

Installation:
- Disable everything you set "Apply on boot" in your kernel manager(EX, FK or whichever u use),
- reboot to recovery,
- take backup of your boot partition(in case u want restore kernel to previous state),
- (Optional) flash custom kernel,
- flash Tweaks_For_Mido(v13).zip(you have to flash it always after kernel, never before),
- (Optional) flash disable_perf_HAL.zip[default its enabled],
- reboot to system,
- enjoy.

Didn't test it on miui. But it might work if you have magisk, I've forgot to add that magisk is required.

To "uninstall" you have to restore backup of boot.img you made before flashing tweaks. And to know you have to check them in kernel manager, all it changes are tunables of governors, schedulers, etc.
As for now I would recommend to use latest PureCafx Kernel with my tweaks. And remember to flash my tweaks after u flash custom kernel.

Re-download v8.1, nothing changed if goes about tweaks compared to v8. Its just an attempt to fix bootloop in miui. And PureCafx is here, but I also don't know if it will work on miui.

I have just download and flash tweaks 8.1 on miui 9 with stormguard 6.8 OC kernel ))
I will feedback u soon
Ps: I think it would be better if you have logs to know your tweaks works or not

Updated to v8.8, where I rewrite interactive governor parameters and add support for EAS kernels.

Ok, so I had messed few things up and had to start it over. Now I'm back with changelog available in file description on AFH.
