This is Bravia and XLoud engine for HTC Explorer. Modified by sa3d12 (Thanks dude ). It's modified to make it flashable. He basically changed the META-INF binaries from the old one to Jaggy's rom. Ok, here are the features:

How to install this?

XLoud engine works great, the sound is way better. Bravia on the other hand doesn't seem to really improve visual quality, and if anything the naked eye can't catch it.
Below are two screenshots. The one on the left is one I had from a long time ago, on the right I recreated the same screen (except for the time of course) and took the screenshot after applying the Bravia engine. Doesn't look like there's any improvement as far as I can see.

doesnt work
i have a rooted htc explorer with stock rom and cwm recovery....after flashing this file many apps disappear from applist and also link2sd doesnt appear so that i can move apps to sdcard coz it also shows storage almost full....am i missing something that isnt ? (also there isnt any diff in sound also after flashing )
i have installed but it not boosted the bass. i like the bass. btw bravia engine is just awesome.... excellent contrast... thank you guys for your hard work.

be careful thou.... Perform a NANDROID backup first before attempting to delete some files above, it can brick your phone. Good luck

Let's hope you did a nandroid backup.
If you didn't, wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and then reflash your ROM.

Try replacing Audioeffect.apk from system/app by the one from your ROM ( 'caus mine is ICS optimised) then delete com.sonyericsson.soundenhancement from data/data and reboot all should be working fine after that ( if not just remove SRSpanel.apk from system/app but you'll loose SRS sound)

i just made a backup,and flashed this,but i could never get past doom's kernel logo,the phone just never booted up,i followed the steps. did i missed something? trieb in achotjan's v2.0 and flashed with freexperia CWM(the one that the kernel has)

doesnt work,testet on fresh rooted stockrom,it becomes lags like hell and the ram is full and that makes forcecloses everywhere,second test with fresh USSRv5 wihout any sound mods(no bravia hack etc.),it was horrible,lol.For me ussrv5 its like an bulldozer you can make with the rom what you want,weird testkernel,any tweaks.........but this mod has it after 5min. send to heaven.after hardcore imageflickering the home image has zoomed out(no fake,i have see the pixels)than blackscreen and off.but after nandroid phone is ok.that sux,its damn that a member post this because many user can maybe have a hardbrick or something.thats was the last mod/tweak i flashed from a noobdev.CLOSE THIS.

Sony Bravia 2 I had this app over a month ago when it first was released...I tested pictures on my computer with and without the bravia 2....its total placebo effect..I haven't noticed one bit of change....the real version that's included in the phones that have it factory installed has a actual menu to enable and disable it ...This is another hoax..and late thread too. Since I had this in the end of December

the option menu is just a tool to let u turn it on or off and it's not a must. i removed all checkings including the lknes in build.prop in smali files in my previous bravia mod. however, i should point out that with the extra lines in the prop file or by putting the be_photo file won't give u any changes
here's what i wrote long time ago
it is not that simply by adding a few lines in the prop file as to port the bravia engine, nor by adding the be_photo, be_movie alone. if it were so simple, i will have ported it to all android devices more than a year ago
if in case u have not read my posts either on the s2/note forum here nor on my blog, i can tell u why it wont work:
assume u have an excel file (.xml), if you don have office installed, u cannot view it. even if you have copied all dll and exe files, u will need some registry entries. finally, even u have installed office and got the xml file on hand (ie u have the framework files/libs, etc), u need one more thing - to trigger it (by starting excel in this case), otherwise u wont be able to open the xml file
for your reference only. this gif was created by one of the users with my bravia mod. u should see something like this if the bravia engine is working properly.

But u can try checking is it mentioned in build.prop file
Sometimes it did not flash In a device but it states in the file that it is present.

Installation Steps For Flashing FusionBlastXtreme_MOD_v1.2
Installation Steps For CWM 6 Users
Make Backup BEFORE Flashing
1.Download FusionBlastXtreme_MOD_v1.2.1
2.Put it on your SDcard
3:Go to CWM Recovery(Press Vol. Up Power Button)
4.Wipe Factory/Data Reset
5.Format System(Mounts And Storage>Scroll Down>Format System)
6.Format Dalvik Cache(Advanced>Dalvik Cache)
7.After Wiping and Formating,
Go back at the first page of the CWM recovery and choose install .zip from SDcard
8.Choose FusionBlastXtreme_MOD_v1.2.1.zip
9.Then Select the sound tweak.zip from the Addons Folder and flash it
10.Then reboot and enjoy
Installation Steps for TWRP users
1.Clear Cache
2.Clear Dalvik Cache
3.Do a Factory Reset
4.Format the System
5.Clear .android_secure
6.Then Choose FusionBlastXtreme_MOD_v1.2.1 and flash it

Steps for setting up the Bestest Sound Quality Ever
Ok Guys now this guide is for getting the max sound quality ever
Follow each and every step as i say and in the same order too
Believe me u will all say just one word.. AWESOME
1.Install the beats audio.apk from the addons folder given below in the download section
2.Now Open beats audio and select install even if it is showing that beats audio is already install
3.After Installing the phone will automatically reboot in 5secs..wait for that
4.after phone fires up again beats audio is installed..
5.Now open Walkman...go to settings of walkman...there u will find clearaudio+ and sound enhancements...
6.Dont select clearaudio+...instead open sound enhancements...
7.u will see there CLEARBASS...slide that slider to max at +10
8. u will see settings tab beside the window u r in now...open that...
9.Now open surround sound(vpt) and select studio..and select clear stereo and dynamic normalizer
10.Now u have set up the sound..Now this is not enough..need more bass,sound and clearity??? Heres the answer
11.Open dial pad and type *#*#3646633#*#*
12.A window will open..it is the Engineer mode of the rom...now go to audio...dont touch others..
13.Go to normal mode and set Value is 0-255 as 255 and then set the value in Max Vol 0-160 as 160
14.Return to previous screen and go to Headset Mode...set there also 255 and 160 just like in the last step
15.Then Its over...now exit from there...open walkman,insert ur headphone and feel the drastic changes in sound quality....

havent tried the rom yet but looks promising.. will certainly give it a try as soon my laptop is fixed..
but just out of curiousity.. Why do most of the roms have xperia UI elements in them?? Is it some exploit of sony phones that work really well with micromax hardware?? or simply a personal choice of the devs??

Could you make like a light version of the rom where you have only the bare neccesary features.. like the perfoormance features.. the UI can be kept absoluetly clean and vanilla.. remove as much bloatware as possible
and if possible add few JB MODS built in to the rom like Google Now, the App Drawer etc..
this would make it a functional and feature-full rom without any of the bells and whistles...
all things are solved in v1.2

Hey Himadri,
Hi developer,I have downloaded the v1.2 from the dev-host site which you had uploaded on 8th july.But the thing is I have successfully installed the ROM and also the sound quality has increased dramatically,but there is a problem with wifi.Even after I switch it on and get connected to wi-fi and try to sign-in in google ,it doesnt sign in.It even makes the phone restart when I turn on the wifi from the notification bar and even mobile data isnt working.So ,I am not able to access internet through wifi and mobile data in my phone even in the stock browser.I am not even able to open google website.
Please advice what to do and how to fix it.

Actually a small prob had occured by mistake....
i had 2sets of v1.2..one was the original one and other was the faulty one..
i told my younger bro to upload it..and he uploaded the faulty one by mistake...
i appologize for that...i m uploading the original one today itself...

I have installed this Rom of v1.2.1.. But there some bugs in this Rom like
1)Hangs a bit
2)battery %(percent) wouldn't work
3) color are not applicable in network and some times battery symbol not visable
4)i will share the pics

I'm opening this thread by permission of Lacoste. All works belongs to him. I'm just sharing with you.
There are 2 different files. In my LG G2 device I tested both of them are working. So try and see for your device.
(Newer version of Walkman/music files always Fc in G2 Lollipop Roms so i use Semcmusic 8.4.A.5.4.apk. Uploaded for G2 users that have fc)
1- Walkman Z3 + by Lacoste
Before installing always make sure that you have 60 MB of free space in System
- turn off the menu "For Developers" - NuPlayer (experimental)
- Go to the recovery and make Wipe Dalvick Cache
- Flash Walkman
- Make Wipe Dalvick Cache
- Reboot

I flashed the v6M. Work well with Sony Xperia M CM 12.1, version cm12.1-20160123-NIGHTLY-nicki . I can consider this as bug free because so far I didn't found any bug yet . Thanks for posting this stuff .
Phone speaker doesn't work on 6M
After flashing , the audio via headset works great. Haven't had the clear audio work for me in M before.. but there is no sound coming via the speaker.. ringtone , msg notification , nothing.. using moto maxx on Resurrection remix.. any ideas.. ??
WALKMAN v6M works fine on CM 13 CAF on my Nexus 5...thanks mate it's the unique version that works for me with Clearaudio on MM (neither your Walkman Z3 works.)
Thanks, this V6M version works on latest CM13 nightly.
Although, first the volume was very-very low on headphones. I have copied back the stock audio_effects.conf and mixer_paths.xml from CM zip, since then the volume is also fine. I've noticed that the stock mixer_paths is about thrice as big as your's. I hope this doesn't effect the quality of sound.

I'm using the second one, which works fine on my coconut, even with the latest version of Sony Music (9.1.6.A.1.0beta).

You have to download the mega app to download the zip file. Any suggestions on how to remove this? I can't seem to find it in system

Did that. It's still there. Can't seem to find it in system either. I flashed a new rom, factory data reset the device and even wiped internal storage. I'll try it again. It's getting a little frustrating
Did what I should of done to begin with. I didn't ever find it in system but I did a complete wipe and I'm back in business. The app basically made my phone stay in headphone mode. Nothing brought my device out of it, I caution anyone who installs this via recovery to be careful

I update my rom now and port is gone try again please it must work, except if you have add-on script to make it survival after update your rom.?
