This addon content rotation support for Messages app and don't like Hard Reset and Clean Install.
You need flash ROM and after one complete boot to system, go back to Recovery to install Addon.

There is a new CM9 ROM based on ICS 4.0.4 which has a working camera recording, may be that could eleminate some bugs and add some more working features.

I'm not a dev, so I'm not sure how time consuming may be changing the base ROM.
I'm trying to port new MIUI build on top of 4.0.4 ROM, but some libs prevent from booting.

I've installed this ROM today... or I tried. The installation was very (VERY) fast, and after the reboot, my phone stopped at the red Motorola logo. Full wipe, I tried many times. Any suggestion?

Same thing here...just stays on Moto logo...i am on CH GB kernel and did all the possible wipes...

MIUI.us contains only English an Chineese and I didn't succeeded in inserting another language. Maybe in next release.

Try to download it again. Maybe you have corrupted file. Installation took quite long for me.

I completed download about 20 minutes ago, the file size seems about right, and installation was comparably fast for me too...it did say Install from sdcard complete - at the end
Edit1: Redownloaded the file and tried again, got the same result. Could you reupload the file, please? There is a portion of installation, somewhere in the middle of the progress bar, that fills up suspiciously quick...I'm guessing that's what introduces the problems, since it's skipping that bit...or something is missing from the zip file.
It's possible maybe it's from the new Alpha 2 version, I installed the first one perfectly and beautifully. It is awesome. Great work. About to try V2. Will report results. Can you keep a link to the previous version if possible?

Try to verify checksum of the file. I have added it to the first post.
It is working properly for me. I have just tried clean install and the first boot took 5 minutes.
Have you done a full wipe(data and cache) and also Dalvik cache?
Which ROM did you have before?
Try to use TWRP recovery from this post: [RECOVERY] TWRP 2.1.1 for Motorola Milestone 2

I'll retry again...with TWRP as well, and report back.
I did all the wipe data/cache/Dalvik and even battery stats
I am on Will's MIUI 2.4.20
Will give it another go.

I wasn't able to utilize TWRP, installation was successful but couldn't get to TWRP recovery screen...
If anyone else was able to successfully flash this ROM, please, describe how you did it...I'm very keen to try this ROM

If you were already under MIUI
-Format the SD in all but the recovery

-You remove the battery, wait 5 seconds and you press the power button to discharge, return the battery and you're in recovery.
You flash your rom-in Full Wipe.
Or RAZ, first installation
KPE with full re-partition (with Odin v1.85) started a liver you turn out.
KPU alone in PDA (Odin) started a liver you turn out.

In recovery, zip install from sdcard / choose zip from sdcard / MluI-Phonandroid_V3 / Yes.
In aroma you made custom and full wipe, let everything that is checked and finished installation.
MAJ MIUI
For an upgrade MIUI without losing your data simply do a backup and Format all except the SD in recovery.
-Make a Backup of MluI in the "My Tools" avoid parameres wifi and super user.
-In the recovery, Mount and storage, all except format sdcard.
-When installing to Full Wipe in Aroma.
There will not be restored with MIUI backup

Multi Languepack is in it, it's whit all KPQ/KPU... Langue's
I don't install it, i have Miui 10.2 gingerbread 2.3.7, and im happy.
In Miui v4 the Kamera don't work, but i used it, and i don't have a other Kamera, Dhiru work on the Kamera, and when he release Alpha 3, than Frankenstain Update Miui v4 and than i flash v.4 by Frankenstain, and i test this rom, after it.
I can go back whit a Nandroid Backup
I have buyed the Odys Xelio whit ICs and 1,2Ghz 512MB Ram, for 99€ oO It's cooming to me at the 10.4.12, it's a 7" Tablet whit HDMI.
Oh...will check tomorrow. Can't download it right now
You used Frankensteins MIUI v4b2 ? If yes, did you encounter these bugs
1. No notification at all on Incoming calls but other party can hear your phone ringing ?
2. Can't disconnect a dialled call ?

And that's not Language Pack but Language 'Patch' and it can be entirely different thing.
I use Miui 10.2 it's the Gingerbread Miui.
Miui 2.3.23 whit Android 2.3.7 and Beats Audio Modification.
Only Video Recording work in the Gingerbread version not.
On Monday Frankenstain Update the Gingerbread Version to Miui 2.3.30 add Batteryfix in the Rom and Google Talk.
I wait for buggyfixes by ICS Roms, i must have a Photo Kamera.
And Wifi is buggy.

Instructions
Start by doing a full system backup from the Recovery: Select Backup & Restore and Backup (By default, your backup will name as the date)
The Rom is AROMA wip and reboot, you just have to install
1 - Have installed the firmware XXKPE (full version = wipe = data loss) and KPU
2 - Root KPU with CF Universal Root> http://www.mediafire.com/?dqxt5cultx7pxx4.
3 - Install the Rom in recovery (install zip from sdcard).
4 - Wait around 1 minutes to enter code pin.
5 - Add network wifi and connect, Version lower last 2.6.1 or use backup wifi
6 - Reboot recovery and patch Multi lang zip
7 - Enjoy ...
This is not working
- Camera video > Videocam illusion works
- Media Playback H/W Support (Use S/W with MX Player)
Known Bug
- Detection of wifi partial (manually add a name network)
- Problem Known older V4.3 > use a backup wifi
- First instalation, Close the notification to use the keyboard
- Adjust manual the time zone for some countries

Great Job.The rom is fast and smooth.Some Apps like Messaging and Package Installer gives force close.All other apps are fine.

Exactly. Patience guys .Why dont we see it this way - Once we have an ICS without any bugs then we'l have many roms to flash Doing a great work buddy .
I am stuck at Samsung Boot logo after flashing it, it keeps on running in loop there, I tried this method XXKPE(clean) -> XXKPU -> Cf root provided in post -> Pandora from SD card, any solutions?

Very Nice ROM
No major bugs, just a few little Force Closes. A little lag is there but that I think can be solved
a) by upgrading to latest CM9 build
b) by tweaking kernel
Overall a beautiful ROM.
A suggestion:
Plz create a lite edition(100-120MB) with no extras. Thanks !

To solve problem with Messaging Force Close do this
1. Go to Settings>Complete Settings>Apps>All>Messaging>Clear Data (IT WILL REMOVE ALL YOUR MESSAGES . TAKE BACKUP FIRST)
2. Download the attached Mms.apk and replace it in /System/app with Root Explorer and match the Permissions. Permissions will look like this

Also in this version you cant create Calendar entries without Google Account but it was possible with last version. I have attached files and the procedure is same as for Messaging.

Hi alberto,
first of all nice to see another ICS-ROM and soon a JB - ONE
but @ the moment it's a little confusing for me So if i want to flash it which one is first file ? Do i need to install the fix ? What is the fix for ?
What is the difference between the speed and the extreme Version ? Which launcher do you use ?
Maybe i try it soon during my shift, but i need some more information

Install H-Book Over Galaxy 1.2 and the Fix (it overwrite MMS.apk and AwesomeBeats.apk because old icons are very ugly :cyclops:!)
Speed version install CastagnaIT 7.3 UV/OC Kernel, Extreme Version install CastagnaIT 7.3 Extreme UV/OC Kernel.
Launcher is Xperia Home, it's beautiful and light, it launch application more faster than Trebuchet. :laugh:
Indeed the launcher is pretty fast. For me the rom is very fluid and responsive, great job! However I couldn't flash the fix with TWRP due to some strange error. Also Google Now is not working. You can add JB 4.2 keyboard in the next build.

Hi, I've just tried the fixed fix but I've got the same error - E:Error in /external_sd/Update_Fix-signed (1).zip (Status 2) whatever it means...I'm using TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP) 2.3.2.1

Maybe is a problem of 2.3.2.1 Version of TWRP... It's strange, the updater-script is perfect... I've got TWRP 2.2.1 and Official Thread says:
Some zips may no longer work in TWRP 2.3 if the developer is using an out-of-date update-binary. If this is a problem for you, please use TWRP 2.2.1 (download link in post below)! Zips can be fixed by replacing their old update-binary with this one.

I've used TWRP 2.2.1 and the problem with the flashing of the fix us gone!
I've installed the Speed Version and everything worked out as a charm. The score in Antutu is 4510 which is pretty close to my personal record of 4590 with clean arco's CyanogenMod 9 BETA 3 + CastagnaIT 7.3 CFS.
Bugs:
- the reboot to recovery option in the power menu is just restarting the phone, not opening the recovery
- Google Now is not recognizing the speech - I've flashed the Google Now from here and the voice recognition worked! But unfortunately it's not the latest version of Now, and can't be updated in the PlayStore. It's saying that the update is incompatible with the phone.
Suggestions for the next build:
- include 4.2 keyboard
- fix Google now
- change the base for the rom to the new Arco CyanogenMod Beta 4
Keep up with the good work, I'm waiting for the JB rom!

Good idea! I tried to use Mediafire, but it was very slow, goo.im didn't save the fiiles in ftp, but i never tried google drive...

@deDante. Its cool. Just flashed over Slimkat. Only clock gave fc and clearing clock data solved it. So far so good. Device is functioning as expected. I'm an old fan of windows8 launcher for its simplicity. This is the first rom with it as default launcher with Browser, Facebook, Line,....ZPlayer. I'm flying high.

hope dhiru will fix some bugs on his new build, this ROM is far from good, need some advice to make it better...
good rom to fly with
A smooth flight for 22 hrs. Fuel gauge showing 17% left. Only one unplanned stop over (SOD) after 9hrs (cm11 does). Wifi is always on to fetch emails. Took some test photographs and videos and happy with it. Made some regular calls and sms. Around 12 hrs noticed that TweetCaster already burned 26% fuel unnecessarily so got to force stop it. Few controls on setting panel are still not included. Specially vibration and button control. However, its a good rom to fly with.
SL God Dhiru has fixed BT and other minor issues.

Wow, 22hours is amazing. Max. I get is 10hours, no matter the rom. Only thing I have enabled is auto sync every hour for weather and mail. Without even touching the phone, it drains over night. Show me your secret please.

about GApps Package you can flash it from recovery, it will replace the old package...

Yes I noticed some cm11 rom can stand only for 6-10 hrs. I use battery doctor for optimum charging. That's all.
Thanks sam. I'll check out that battery doctor thing. First thing on agenda is moving to this rom, though.
