What do you mean by disabling the lock screen... I know there's a thread about switching to the AOSP (Stock) Lock Screen somewhere... Search the forums, padowan...

u cant simply disable the lock screen if your using a third party app like agile lock trust me i tried lol... anyway your best beat is to install a deodexed rom and flash the aosp lock screen in recovery if u hate the puzzle unlock

The Lockscreen Options can be found in Settings/Display Options.

All files in the zip are required for the locks to work. If you have modified any of the files found in the zip, you will need to redo your edits to these files.

NICE!!!
One fairly minor bug I ran into...
On the SGII lockscreen, the text sometimes isn't visible on the music widget. Seems to disappear more often with song titles that are long enough that the text has to go into ticker mode.
I was just wondering how I was going to add an EPM into my little project thanks!

Any idea what I should do if I get stuck in the boot loop after flashing this? I'm trying to install it on top of "Heimdall One-Click Return to Stock + Easy CWM Installation"

PIN unlock
Did anyone have issues with PIN unlock after flashing this? Flashed this a couple of days after it was posted, and today just tried to enable a PIN unlock.
Went to settings, typed it in once, then Continue, then typed it in again and hit ok.
Locked the phone, then when I tried to unlock it it told me my PIN was incorrect. I thought I was just dense and typed it in wrong, so I restored a backup I did two days ago.
Went through the setup again and paid very close attention as I was doing it. Same result, after locking the phone it tells me my PIN is incorrect.
I haven't tried any of the other security options yet.
Any ideas?
Very nice mod, thanks!

This. I've had this same issue with PIN lock and with password lock. I even tried using Screen Lock Bypass Pro, to no avail. I'm running AEON v1.4, which includes the 8 Lockscreen Mods.

[Q] Question with SKY ICS 4.2E-12.5

Just installed SKY ICS build 4.2E with update 12.5. Install was quick and painless. My question is, I want to change the lockscreen. Do I use one of the lock screen MODS and if so, how do I install it. Any help would be appreciated.
What do you mean? Lock screen wallpaper or the lock screen ui?
It should be easily done with cwm. Download zip and flash. Follow instructions in the thread.

You download the zip of whichever lockscreen you want and flash it in CWM, just like you did the update, but no wiping or cache clearing is necessary.
Lockscreens
Anyone know a way to view the lockscreens in SKY ICS before dowloading them.

Make your nandroid backup then try the mod of your choice. If you don't like it return to your backup or flash a different mod. There may be some pics in one of seanz earlier threads.

Search the Sky ICS thread, someone posted pictures of them there. If you need to see battery mods, I posted pictures of all of them in that thread also. just search the name of the battery mod you're looking for.
Why not try widget locker? It's an awesome app and you can change your lockscreen to a lot of different options and it's VERY customizable?

Lock screen issue (GT-P6210 ICS)

Ok this problem actually started when I first rooted my tab and installed a custom ROM and every rom after. My lock screen just stopped working. Stayed with the custom ROMs for a little while then decided a wanted my lock screen back. So i decided to go stock again. Went through the proper procedures to go back to stock. (wiping device and Odin the stock HC ROM) all that.. No luck still. Upgraded to ICS and STILL no lock screen. If anyone knows what the problem may be, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Click on where it says "face unlock" and switch it to "pattern lock"
Or is that the problem itself? Does "pattern lock" not show up at all as an option?

Everything shows up.. I have no problem setting up the pattern, number and face unlock. Its just that when I do it doesn't activate my lock screen at all.

Quick padlock question

I read a while back about a way to prevent the open padlock from the boot up screen. What I was wondering is if there is something I could freeze to prevent the initial check when I reboot? I already know how to remove it I just want to prevent it from returning when I play around.

I know this doesn't really answer your question, but from what i've read it does nothing in regards to the phone performance. Also the only two stock roms disable this once flashed correctly..other than that I am not sure, hopefully somone who is more helpful can come along .
