Is there a fix for "force NoDo" preventing future updates?

Thanks for reading this, I apologize if this has been asked already but I've searched and could not find anything. If anyone knows a fix I would very much appreciate to know. I have the Samsung Focus with ATT
I'm stuck with an unbranded phone and cannot receive future updates, and cannot use Chevron7 to dev unlock my phone to re-brand my phone. The only way I've heard of but have not yet confirmed is by purchasing the dev unlocking tools from Microsoft directly. Being as forcing NoDo on my focus prevents me from using chevron7 to unlock the phone so I can re-brand it back to AT&T. That prevents me from being able to get the new ATT nodo update. My question is, if I purchase the dev tools from Microsoft for $99, would I be able to rollback my focus pre-nodo through zune and with ATT being re-branded, could I get that ATT focus nodo update?
Sorry if this is confusing, thanks in advance for any advice.

Any particular reason you cannot rollback your device using the official tool from Microsoft?

I typed a response back and it didn't post... Scrt, what official tool are you talking about? Do you mean the dev unlock tools you can buy for $99? See I forced the update and I'm stuck with an un-branded phone and I can't unlock with Chevron7 and I can't receive future updates like Mango. I can rollback using Zune but since I can't unlock using Chevron7, I cannot re-brand my phone to ATT to get the ATT Focus update.
So I'm asking if anyone knows that if I buy the dev tools from Microsoft for $99 and unlock my phone that way... Would I be able to do that and re-brand to ATT, then download the ATT Focus update?

Well... i don't know about other phone, but HD7's user, have ansar ported the stock 7004 ROM. I flashed back to 7004 and then get official update through Zune. So, i don't need to worry about this.

I had this problem with my Samsung Focus, i had it unbranded and it was updated to the nodo update.
Now i have the at&t firmware update and Nodo update and my phone is still dev unlocked. So happy!!
This is how I did it, First of all, you have to downgrade or restore your focus to 7008 OS.
Then make sure you phone is dev unlocked and download WP7 Root Tools 0.3alpha.xap
once you have downloaded the homebrew app, rebrand your focus by opening up the WP7 Root Tools app, and follow these instructions: Go to REGISTRY
LocalMachine\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\MobileOperator
and SET String then change VALUE: ATT-US
After that you phone will be rebranded to At&t. You can use the same steps for a rogers branded samsung focus, just replace ATT-US with ROG-CA and you should be good to go. Then make sure you use the Samsung Tools.xap app before you update your phone to NODO. just check the prevent relock section in the samsung tools app and reboot your phone, double check that it is checked and update away. Is it somehow possible to downgrade my phone to pre nodo or earlier to unlock it?
Currently the phone has Factory nodo in it so i cant unlock it please help

Please go to "HTC 7 Trophy" session and find the corresponding 7004 ROM which matches your Radio version and mobile suppliers to flash your device.
If no matched ROMs, then it's the same as Dell Venue Pro with NoDo preloaded.

With the name "The Heat" I assume your from the US.
If your talking the Verizon Trophy, you CAN NOT roll back to Pre-NoDo. NoDO was requred to support CDMA (Vzw Trophy and Sprint Arrive are both CDMA based phones)
Your only Method to to unlock a CDMA based WP7 device is to go the Dev unlock method. Spend some time looking, you need to get a developer account with MS and get a Unlock from them. If you have a .edu account, it could be free.
Chevron WILL NOT WORK ON CDMA PHONES.
This question is asked almost every day, 10 seconds in search would of found this answer. Also spend some time searching, getting a dev account is a little work but, it's not that hard to do.

You assumed wrong, i live in Europe, Finland. So no verizon/vodafone. Im a little bit new to wp7 devices so could you link/pm me the correct rom and tell me how to flash it? Sorry for being noob and posting to wrong section

[Q] How to unlock VZW Trophy with Mango 7712?

I want to unlock my VZW HTC Trophy with Mango 7712, however I do not have a NoDo backup. Is there still a way to do this?

I have the same phone and from what I can tell all you can do is find a ROM to flash. However, I do not know of anyone having done a CDMA VZW Trophy ROM.

I'm a registered Microsoft Windows Mobile developer, won't they have a cdma version?

If you are a registered dev, you are unlocked; are you asking about getting back to NoDo (original post is for getting Mango unlocked)? And by "they", who do you mean; MS?

[Q] Hacked Mango Rom

Ok so in the moment I'm with 7.10.7720.68 firmware ver. Radio soft ver is 5.51.09.29_22.32.50.10U. So my question is : what do I need to download to get a hacked mango rom (where I can sideload apps on it) and eventually everything needed to get my hd7 hacked? I'm very sorry to start a new thread but I dont know anything about radios and stuff and if you may pls give me a step by step guide about hacking and upgrading because 1$t I dont know which rom is for me 2nd I dont know how to upgrade. First of all, there are some custom ROMs based on leaked HTC RTM ROMs (not RTM provided by MS). I've installed those one for my HTC Mozart.
The main question is: Is there a difference between the leaked HTC Rom and the rollout version. From software/radio version, there are no differences to see. However, someone said that some drivers are missing.
So if this is true, you have to wait until a custom ROM based on the latest rollout is provided...

How i jailbreak or unlock for installing third party apps on it?
He came out of the box with the upgrade 8107. Can i downgrade it to 7740 SO firmware in some way? (for the simple Unlocking).

Nice response! I am looking at the XDA site for several months because I also have a Samsung W with WP OS 8773 preinstalled. (model - SAMSUNG GT-I8350, os 7.10.8773.98, h rev 23.15.0.8, software radio 2424.12.1)
After reading your answer and read all the links suggested by you (actually I had already read), I wanted specifically subscribe to the forum to ask you where, in the above link, is it explained how to unlock the phone with OS 8107, or how downgrade it to 7740 SO firmware??
