1. Download the zip file (duh )

Yes, you can find CM7 on an Indonesian forum
Here's the link: http://www.kaskus.us/showthread.php?t=8021985, I don't remember the exact page where the CM7 download is given, so you need to search a bit on that page, use google translate
Thanks to txpxsx for sharing the link here
The issues I found in that ROM was that the bluetooth didn't work. I'm trying to build a CM7 port myself hoping to fix the bluetooth and some other issues.
PS: If you liked my work please press the thanks button

Dear Sir
Thank you for your support.I got 3 working roms from above.
But now my original mi-310 rom backup is not working.Do you have any idea from where i can get original rom ?
Thank You

Did you wipe your data and cache partition and did a factory reset before restoring the backup? Also try wiping the dalvik cache. What error are you getting when restoring backup?
I'll try to upload my tweaked stock ROM, but it will be a pain uploading it on my slow connection :/

Dear Sir
U R Gr8. It worked for me.wiped cache/dalvik cache,my orignal rom is back.
Thank you.
If u complete your work on CM7 port please post.I am waiting for it.

I'm glad I could help
The problem with CM7 port is that there are alot of bugs that need to be fixed, I might as well work on a customized stock rom than CM7 as the stock rom is alot better and is without bugs

oh,I am looking forward to it

Superb to c my own ppl in action.. thumbs up guys..
I would like to know how to root the phone first of all?? Is there a generic method for all the fones??

Please help
cannot enter into bootloader, shows init() something and freezes up. I want my old spice flash_img file back. sadly I didn't took the backup of that file.
Now i cannot factory reset either. Is there's a way to get it back into system/bin folder so that I can factory reset my device again?
pls help

If you can't even get into recovery, then use the method here to install fastboot and then follow the instructions in my original post to flash the recovery via fastboot mode.

^^
You can root your phone through z4root, download it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833953
Then follow my steps in the first post to install the recovery image I've made (install the stable version).
There are a few rom's available here, including a port of CM7, it's an indonesian forum, so use google translate.

Thanks for Replying

first you need to install recovery via usb debugging or in fastboot mode
as you didnt know beyond fastboot methob is easy
just download the tool from mediafire.com/?6y4ijz36yn4fxfx
and extract it
then place the recovery.img in extracted folder
then connect your phone in fastboot mode (trackpad+camera+power) and click on fastboot.bat
then copy any update zip file to sd card and install in recovery mode (trackpad+volumeup+power)
till now fully working cm7 is not made due to lack of availability of its kernel source
and now when it is released developers are not developing it

that cm7 port contain a lot of bug because tj_style had developed it from scratch and he didnt have its kernel sorce code

this would be easier to "de-sense" cause it´s allready deodexed. so you needn´t delete so much stuff ;-)
a light version will follow the nexts days, which will be "de-sensed" and have a custom launcher like ADW or LP

Hey, today i unlocked mine with an xtc clip.
Then I flashed the unsecured Boot Image. I hope it is called so .
After that worked successful, i rooted it with SuperOneKlick.
Maybe this works for you too.
Any chance you can get in touch with the developer of this as there seems to be a very annoying bug.
Everytime i include:
format CACHE or
format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p27", "/cache");
the recovery will not flash the ZIP. It will always give a STATUS 1 error.
So i have to manually format cache and run my ZIPS.
Thanks.
anybody successfully tried to revert on stock recovery?
fastboot says "FAILED (remote: not allowed)", and with cwm recovery it's impossible to try new OTA...

hey dude,
i ported the recovery together with a friend. so i´m your man ;-)
i never noticed that there is a problem with formating cache partition, cause i don´t touch it with my updater-script.
so first question:
why you will add that to your updater-script? me for myself prefere the way of wiping my phone manually. and that works very well with CMR. i also tested it in the mount/partition menu.
i would not like it, when a script wipes stuff and i did not know about.
i only use format for system in my full update.zip´s. in updates for my rom i did not wipe anything.
second question: did you know that cache partition is always mounted when recovery starts? perhaps thats the problem.

those fastboot commands only works with an ENG S-Off bootloader. which we dont have. we have SHIP S-Off... there are differences between those both.
our bootloader can everything the ENG can with fastboot commands. we have to use a zip file to flash things like recovery or splash.
you have to add your recovery backup img into my PG88IMG-unsecured_bootimg.zip file from this post [BOOT] Root for S-Off with unsecured Boot Image rename it to PG88IMG.zip and add your recovery.img into that zip file and remove the boot.img file.
than put the file on the root of your sdcard and reboot into bootloader.
the file will be flashed automaticly.
after reboot your phone, rename the file again to something else, cause every time you are in bootloader and this file is named PG88IMG.zip on your sdcard thhe bootloader will try to flash it.
just a little tipp at the end: you can add every img file into this zip. system and data img files from nandroid backups are working too ;-)
regards
Thank you!
I'll try it next time, i'll need it
But i've managed to flash it through flash_image from this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Vision#HBOOT_partition_map
with recover.img from OTA downloaded.
After OTA i've lost the root, but gingerbreak still works...

Could you PLEASE give me a short (or long ) description how to install the ota?
No idea what to do with the linked code...
EDIT Extracted the boot.img from ota and copoed it to PG88IMG.zip - restart - run ota-update -> fail
EDIT2 I'm an idiot: instead of boot.img it is a great idea to try it with recovery.img *LOL*
You just have to replace clockworkmod ecovery with stock one.
I've taken it from OTA downloaded.
It contains file firmware.zip inside, which contains recovery.img as well.
You can flash it with tool flash_image (http://www.thinkthinkdo.com/trac/project1/raw-attachment/wiki/vision_utilities/flash_image.zip)
Just put it somewhere to device, where you can run it (for instance/data/local/bin/, /system/bin/ if remounted to rw, /sdcard if remounted to exec)
and run from device or adb shell like%
su
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
after that, you can reboot to hboot, check out that you do not have cwm recovery anymore, boot to android and install OTA as usual from menu...
does the recovery also do a backup of the radio?
(my wifi is broken sinve ota update - and I'm an stock recovery now, so can't test at the moment)
Cache being mounted or unmounted isnt the issue.
I can wipe cache manually but automatting it in the script seems the break the whole process.
Its good for testing and having a fresh install.
Lets android re-build everything.
Take from Clockworks How to:
wipe cache partition
Wipes the cache partition of the device to clear all the data accumulated there over use. This is often used before installing a new ROM, app, kernel or any similar mod via recovery

For the rest, it seems perfect! Thank you very much again!
Installed via PD98IMG.zip in bootloader (I'm not ENG S-OFF so I can't just type 'fastboot flash it please').

How to use PD98IMG.zip ? Just place it in the root of sdcard, reboot into bootloader and wait for promt. After setup remove the file.

Nice look! liked it.
How to use PD98IMG.zip ? Just place it in the root of sdcard, reboot into bootloader and wait for promt. After setup remove the file.

reboot you device to fastboot, and type :"fastboot flash recovery PhilZ_Touch_Recovery_ 6.22.1_ace.img"through cmd.
Sent from my HTC T528w using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Fastboot command only works on engineering or unlocked bootloader. Coloured_chalk probably only got ship s-off. So, he offers the hboot patch file so that those having the same cases as his can install this recovery.

BLU DASH 5.0 D410a Stock ROM Images + Root + TWRP

STOCK ROM IMAGES BLU DASH 5.0 D410a V27-GENERIC Android Kitkat 4.4.2 MT6572 Chipset (no UBIFS)
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FLASHING YOUR PHONE SO THAT YOU WON'T BRICK IT.
EDIT: 14 January 2015. Updated the TWRP 2.8.2.0 download link. Fixed the problem where ADB and MTP was not functioning in TWRP. Added backup support for a few other partitions including the Baseband.
EDIT: 19 January 2015. Changed method of rooting and added flashable zip with modified kernel to add init.d support (that was tested and is functioning properly.)
STEP 1
BACKUP YOUR MEDIATEK DEVICE
Prerequisites
All of the software is for Windows.
Download and Extract the MTK USB Drivers and the SP Flash Tool found closest to the top of the list at:
http://mtk2000.ucoz.ru/
Press the play button to the right of the file to start the download.
Download MTK Droid Root & Tools
Latest version can be found by following the link of the following post.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38320254&postcount=1
Hint: Click the show content button to see the link to another forum with the download link
Direct Download Link of MTK Droid Root & Tools if you are having problems getting the link.
http://depositfiles.com/files/ne1gnposp
You will need Winrar to extract the files.
That can be downloaded from: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
READ HERE ON HOW TO BACKUP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38337401&postcount=5
Thanks to @rua1 for the instructions and software.
NOTE: I WOULD RECOMMEND BACKUPING UP THE USRDATA PARTITION AS WELL TO DO THAT USE HEX "0X96B40000" AS THE LENGTH DURING READ BACK IN SP FLASH TOOL
To flash the DASH 5.0 you need to use the Preloader to do it.
STEP 2
Installing the Preloader Driver (READ this section entirely before trying)
Open Device Manager
Start -> Run
Type:
Code:
devmgmt.msc
Press Enter
Turn off the phone until it is completely shut down with nothing plugged in the USB port. You will see the screen go black and shortly afterwards it will vibrate.
With Device Manager open, connect the USB cable to the phone without turning it on.
You will see the MT65XX Preloader appear (see image)

Quickly double click MT65XX Preloader before it disappears, if it disappered, just unplug and plug back in the cable and try again.
Under the Driver tab, click Update Driver, click Browse my computer for driver software.
Using the Browse button find the MTKUSBAll folder you extracted and click on "New inst. win 7&8x64" and click OK
Click Next
If you get the message "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software", just click "Install this driver software anyway"
Click Close
Click Close
After the driver is installed you can unplug the phone.
STEP 3
Uploading the image files to the phone{/B}
WARNING: The BLU-DASH-5.0_141022_BLU-D410a-V27-GENERIC_FOR_SP_FLASH_TOOL.zip file has all of the necessary images but do not flash them unless you trying to recover from a brick.
DO NOT FLASH THE PRELOADER.BIN AS IT MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE.
THE ONLY FILES I HAVE PERSONALLY TESTED ARE boot.img, factory_NONmodified_recovery.img and system.img
Download BLU-DASH-5.0_141022_BLU-D410a-V27-GENERIC_FOR_SP_FLASH_TOOL.zip from here:
http://d-h.st/3L9G
See Step 5
Extract the SP Flash Tool.
Extract the system.img and MT6572_Android_scatter.txt (and/or boot.img and factory_NONmodified_recovery.img, if you wish)
Open the SP Flash Tool
Click the Download tab
Click the Scatter-loading button and select the MT6572_Android_scatter.txt file.
Click the location of ONLY the parition(s) you are going to flash: ANDROID = SYTEM partition (system.img), BOOTIMG = KERNEL (boot.img) and RECOVERY=RECOVERY (factory_NONmodified_recovery.img or custom recovery file)
Select the image file (e.g. system.img or system_rooted.img)
MAKE SURE ALL OTHERS ARE NOT TICKED
Click the Download button.
Plug in the phone or unplug and plug it back in to start flashing the images to the phone.
Note: This can also be done with the battery removed.
Your phone will have root.
STEP 4 - Adding TWRP
First we need to rename the file recovery-from-boot.p found in the /system folder.
Using a File Manager with root permissions rename
Code:
recovery-from-boot.p
to
Code:
recovery-from-boot.bak
OR
From an adb shell, rename the file
Code:
su
cd /system
mv recovery-from-boot.p recovery-from-boot.bak
Now turn off the phone and with SP Flash Tool flash TWRP 2.8.2.0. Download link below.
NOTE: Select only the RECOVERY partition to flash. TWRP themes are supported as well as the Aroma File Manager.
http://d-h.st/aQmt
STEP 5 - Rooting and adding init.d support
Go to http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
Download the latest SuperSU.
Go to http://d-h.st/AJQ
Download the init.d support zip file.
Boot to TWRP while connected to a PC with adb tools run the command
Code:
adb reboot recovery[/url]
OR
Hold down the power select Reboot and hold down the volume up button until you see the TWRP logo.
Via the install menu, flash the SuperSU zip and inti.d support zip.
ALL DONE!
THANKS:
[user=631273]@Chainfire[/user] for SuperSU
[user=5119815]@rua1[/user] for MTK Droid Root & Tools and instructions on how to use SP Tools
[user=4478781]@yuweng[/user] for creating the tool to make TWRP for MediaTek devices
[user=912474]@Dees_Troy[/user] for TWRP
I will give a brief explanatoin and will elaborate more when I have the time.
For Root:
Thanks to @Chainfire
I basically mounted the system.img in a Linux OS and copied the files from the SuperSU v2.36 zip file and placed them in their relevant directories added the relevant permissions, etc.
For init.d scripts
Thanks to @alireza7991
See his thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2287540
I modified the kernel to boot and created a flashable zip that adds busybox to /system/xbin and creates the necessary folders then flashes the modified kernel.
For TWRP:
Thanks to @yuweng
I used Easy Magic TWRP Installer for MTK. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53752834#post53752834
It worked but changed my partition information for some reason even though the size fit my paritition size. I wiped my phone and lost my baseband and recovered it. Posted a new thread on how to do that. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/restore-baseband-mt65xx-devices-t2967949
That is why I posted the image file so no one has to face that problem too. I tested it and it is functioning without any problems.
You can follow yuweng's thread to make it smaller if your partition size is smaller than 6MB for some phones, at a cost of course.
Anyone looking for baseband files can check http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/restore-baseband-mt65xx-devices-t2967949
For anyone wanting to use Link2SD on this, I have created a flashable zip to use with a custom recoveery that adds init.d support, installs Link2SD as a system app and adds a modified mount script that functions properly.
Requires root and a SD card with the second partition formatted as EXT4.

Your phone is a BLU Dash 5.0 D410a and NOT the 5.0+ or 5.0 Studio right?
It sounds like your kernel (boot.img) is not booting the /system partition. Try flashing the /system and recovery partitions only for now and see what happens. Do not flash the boot.img
Thanks for you le answer! Thats right, is a Blu Dash 5.0 D410a, I try on Monday the suggested and post results!!!
Hi again, flashed system and recovery only, stuck on Blu screen again, try wipe and reset cache, stuck on screen Blu,any recomendation??

I'm having the same problem as Jorgefar. Mine is on v24 instead of v14 though after the factory update to 4.4.2. I rooted it with kingroot, but I would like to have twrp recovery. I've done everything you instructed him, but mine gets stuck in the bootloop as well. I thought i could just flash the recovery, and did the rename on the recovery file, but that didn't work still had factory recovery. After that I did the entire procedure and got the bootloop.

After installing TWRP you need boot into TWRP before booting into Android and install the latest SuperSU. The install-recovery.sh will replace TWRP with the stock recovery on the first boot if SuperSU is not installed, which renames it.
After flashing TWRP with the Smart Phone Flash Tool, disconnect the cable, press the power button and then hold the volume up button to enter TWRP.

I probably need to redo the steps for a couple of the posts.
Download the TWRP at http://d-h.st/aQmt
Upload it to the phone. Make sure that only recovery is ticked in the Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool) and select the file you downloaded. You should be able to figure out the rest based on my instructions.
Flash SuperSU which can be downloaded from http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
It will rename the file that would put back the original recovery.
That should be it.
got it working thanks. are their any custom roms for the d410a?

[HOWTO] [ROOT] [RECOVERY] Guide for rooting Vivo V3 Max

[size=+2]Vivo V3 Max ROOT and TWRP Custom Recovery[/size]
I have created a custom recovery that allows you to flash SuperSU to your Vivo V3 Max. This is currently EXPERIMENTAL as I have not had success on all software versions - currently 2.6.39 seems to work well, 2.7.11 sometimes works, etc.
Important - read before flashing
I am not responsible for anything that goes wrong.
Flashing Instructions
1. Install custom recovery by seeing my other thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...recovery-vivo-v3-max-custom-recovery-t3499181
2. Download SuperSU v2.78 SR3 from Chainfire here: https://download.chainfire.eu/1012/SuperSU/SR3-SuperSU-v2.78-SR3-20161103171345.zip
3. Copy the SuperSU zip file to your phones memory card (DO NOT EXTRACT THE ZIP FILE, COPY IT EXACTLY AS IT IS)
4. Turn off your phone complete.y
5. Boot into TWRP recovery by holding VOLUME DOWN and POWER on your phone until you see the FASTBOOT screen appear.
6. Use the volume buttons to select RECOVERY, then press POWER button to confirm.
7. In TWRP recovery, select "Install".
8. Select the ZIP file that you upload to your memory card
9. Swipe to confirm install.
Now reboot your device. If everything went well you will now have root! Open SuperSU to update the su binary if requested and follow the on-screen instructions.

I have modified your boot.img to allow the device to make insecure changes - which should fix the issue for 2.6.31.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0TtHsl8vcaLZ0FoNER3RlZuUGs/view
You can flash like so:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot-allowinsecure-2.6.31.img
If your phone does not boot afterwards then simply flash your original boot.img file back using the same method (but I'm 100% sure that it will boot OK). Let me know if this fixes it for you.
I currently don't have original recovery for 2.6.31, but I believe it is the same as the 2.7.11 version which I have linked to previously.

Yes correct I have started building a pre-rooter custom rom to get around this issue

Custom ROMs and Recovery for Realme C12

Are you disappointed to see that there are no threads in Development section of XDA?
No worries, since Realme C11, C12 and C15 MTK share similar specs, things that are made for other two devices will work in our device too.
So our Custom ROMs and TWRP etc., are at Realme C11 forum https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/realme-c11-roms-kernels-recoveries-other-deve.10991/
Flashing Custom Recovery
First backup stock recovery
If you rooted the device, then see this, else follow below.
- Connect your device to PC
- Shift + Right click in platform-tools folder and select open command window here
- Run below commands to backup stock recovery
Code:
adb reboot recovery
adb root
adb pull /dev/block/by-name/recovery
adb reboot bootloader
You will get a file named recovery in your platform-tools folder. Rename it to stock-recovery.img and place it in safe place.
Click to collapse
- Download latest TWRP from here in your PC
- Download vbmeta.img from here in your PC
- Place those two .img where platform-tools is extracted.
- Rename recovery file to custom-recovery.img
- Run below commands in command prompt that you opened above
Code:
fastboot --disable-verification --disable-verity flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash recovery custom-recovery.img
fastboot reboot recovery
Custom Recovery is not permanent when you are using Stock ROM. It will be replaced with stock recovery after you boot to Stock ROM.(See 2nd post to overcome this)
There is no Hardware button Combo like Power + Vol Up to boot to recovery mode. Only way is to use adb/fastboot or root
Spoiler
You cannot see files in Internal Storage because of decryption(FBE) is broken in OUR device's TWRP. So use External SDCard for flashing if you are using TWRP
It will be blank for 1½ minute when you boot to TWRP 3.5.0. Don't touch the screen when it is blank. Press Power Button once to wake up screen in TWRP.
Flashing Custom ROMs
- Download custom ROM from here
- Place it in your External SDCard
- Backup the things in your InternalStorage, because we are going to wipe it.
- Boot to TWRP with below command
Code:
adb reboot recovery
- Choose Wipe and select Format Data and type yes
- Go back and choose Install and choose External-Storage in Select Storage at bottom
- Select the custom ROM zip that you downloaded above
- Flash it and Reboot
- Enjoy!
Spoiler
If you get recovery bootloops, then flash stock recovery. See below post to flash stock recovery
List of ROMs for C12Below ROMs are only for UI1. So don't flash when you are in UI2
Havoc-OS
ArrowOS
LineageOS
exTHm UI
PixelPlusUI
WaveOS
CipherOS
PixelExperience Plus
FluidOS
PixelExperience
Thanks
How to stop stock ROM from flashing stock recovery and keep custom recovery?
To do this, you need to root your C12 with Magisk.
Flash below attached RealmeRecoveryKeep.zip in Magisk app and flash custom recovery. Enjoy it accross reboots in stock rom.
Any recovery like TWRP, PBRP, SHRP, OrangeFox etc., will work with this.
Flashing Stock Recovery
Flashing it is same as TWRP.
Below I have attached Stock recovery from A.83, but it may work with any other version of UI1.
Don't flash this in UI2

I can't backup stock recovery. Getting this error:
adb: error: failed to copy '/dev/block/by-name/recovery' to '.\recovery': remote open failed: Permission denied
My bootloader is unlocked and I got magisk working.

Since you are rooted, run below commands in Termux to backup stock-recovery to internal storage.
Code:
su
dd if=/dev/block/by-name/recovery of=/sdcard/stock-recovery.img
Copy this stock-recovery.img to a safe place in your PC or External SDCard.
And also you can flash TWRP using
Code:
su
dd if=/sdcard/TWRP.img of=/dev/block/by-name/recovery
thanks a lot, i thought I got stuck with stockrom and have developer support for it
Hi!
I need to flash back my stock recovery. I have a question.
Should I flash the vbmeta.img too at first? (Just like I did while flashing twrp?)

I would like to ask if the roms above now work on Realme C12 ui2 and if it's safe to flash a custom rom? Especially Arrow OS? Why can't they be flashed on ui2? Any idea on how to downgrade to ui1 so that I can flash it with Arrow OS?

There is only Lineage OS for UI2 which is at https://github.com/techyminati/releases/releases/tag/1.0.2-RMX2185
Other ROMs based on UI2 will come soon.
Also if you want to downgrade to UI1 follow below steps
- Flash TWRP from https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=7161016148664786711 (Don't use other TWRP)
- Boot to TWRP
- Enable 'Skip Treble Compatibility error' in settings
- Flash ozip
- Format Data and wipe cache
- Reboot

Hi! Thank you for the reply HemanthJabalpuri ! I would like to ask if you know the download link for ozip? I'm familiar with the other steps on TWRP except for ozip? Would I need to download ozip on Realme C12 or is it a setting? Do you know a reliable, stable and trusted download link for ozip? I apologize for the dumb question. Thank you for the explanation btw, I appreciate it!

Normally, you can download latest stock rom(which is usually in .ozip format) can be found at realme website by searching 'Software update - realme' in Google to go your region specific site.
But many custom ROMs have bugs with different versions of stock rom. So suggested stock version version to be less buggy with custom roms is A.87.
All the latest and older .ozips can be downloaded at https://realmeupdater.com/downloads/archive/RMX2185/
So for A.87, here is the link for it https://download.c.realme.com/osupdate/RMX2185_11_OTA_0870_all_1TbYEnns8MEW.ozip
Thanks
