Did you try samfirmware.com?

There's a way with samfirmware but you have to pay for it.

On samfirmware.com need pay for services. If I not find way to unlock on Monday I go to service centre.

Thanks
But what's the Code?
say, you have this:
#7465625*638*Code# = Disables Network lock.
I think you have to put a number there instead of Code.

On the Dial-pad where u would make a phone call you type #7465625*638* and that should disable the network lock.. also type #7465625*28638# if u experience network lock activating again after reboot.. hope that helps, also let us know how it went as it could help other people with the same problem..

I try it all but not work
Seems we cant find unlock network key on Galaxy 3

The only other way for you I guess is to flash another rom.. that would definitely unlock your phone .. I would suggest Jpm from samfirmare.com that's other than paying to get it done.
Sent From My GT-I5800 Cruzin Along 0n Kyrillos' Rom V5.7 Honeycomb Edition..

Not working!
First of all I think this codes belongs to older samsung models. OK, we assume that it's working with I5800...
Main problem still remains because that "Code" in something like this:
#7465625*638*Code# = Disables Network lock
is a 8 digit number that must be calculated from IMEI that we don't have that and we can't calculate it!
so, it's useless.

Are you sure?
Why should flashing unlock a cell phone?
As far as I know unlock codes are stored in nv-data.bin file so the only way to acquire the unlock code is to manipulate or decrypt this file.
And remember, the tool or methods for SGS is not working for us because our nv-data.bin files are different.

did you try the auto network lock off? then maybe flash, remove batteries after that or something. Or maybe change IMEI to something that has a known code, then change back after unlocking. Just spouting out ideas. Mine is not locked, but a friends is, and I suspect I'll meet more people with a locked sg3 or people I know will get it.

Maybe it also depends on whether you firmware is a custom firmware from ur network provider.. When your phone boots up if it displays your network logo then it would be hard to unlock i guess.. I think these codes will only work if your phone boots without a custom logo..

Diffrent Lock

I am wondering if there is a way to lock the phone automatically and unlock without a pin but a different unlock key( the default is "*")
What type of smartphone do you have? On the T-Mobile Shadow, there is an option for a manual lock that turns on everytime you slide the phone down.
I am on HtC Vox S710. I wonder mortscript will do what I wanted?

Keypad locking sequence

Is it possible to change the keypad locking sequence on an S710? The kids have found out how to unlock it?
You can put a pin or password on it which has to be entered every time you want to unlock it
Settings --> Security --> Device Lock and set it up in there

Auto Lock on stand-by

I am using windows 6.5 which has this 'iphone' type slide to unlock, but it only goes on if i lock it through the start menu. On my stock telus rom it auto locked and had you tap 'unlock' and confirm, which was annoying but turns out useful. In my pocket my phone now seems to like to call people and take pictures, so I'm forced to lock it, which is fine, but i wish it would auto lock everytime i put it into standby, is there a way to do this, but not the pin # lock, the slide the bar lock screen?

There is a setting in the S2U2 that will enable the lock when the backlight goes off... also you can edit the registry so that the autolock will come up like it did on 6.1.
I assume you like the wm6.5 automatic lock when suspend. If that is the case download smart lock
http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2009/06...-of-your-default-windows-mobile-6-5-lock.html
and set the setting wm6.5 lock and and suspend lock. after configured, hold end key for 10 seconds to activate it first time.

I installed the cab, but i dont see the application anywhere, its not in my list of apps, nor can i find it through file explorer...any help?
If you installed Smart Lock it will show up in Settings>System>Smart Lock. I know took me a while before I figured that one.
i got it. but it never does anything...
goto the registry and change DeviceLockWhenSuspend to 1... that will enable the windows lock when you press the button at the top of the phone.
It is located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd
Make sure your reset your phone after you make the change.
sorry, I'm new to WinMo, what's a program I can use to edit my registry
Resco file explorer has a great reg editor!

Hi AstronusX
Do you know where else smartlock can be downloaded from, mirrors perhaps?
The link posted wont allow me to download for some reason.
I got smartlock also and edited the registry settings but still nothing happens. Any ideas?
Map the top key to launch DeviceLock.exe in the Windows folder using this program:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=554240
It will still retain the screen shutoff function, but will also activate the lock.

Screen lock type - Swipe/PIN/Password/Pattern problem

Hi, few days ago my standard Screen lock type = PIN&Fingerprits changed without my involvement to Swipe&Fingerprits. When I want to change it back to PIN&Fingerprints, it "works" that way that it can be changed in Settings/Lock screen and security, but in reality when I swith off or restart the phone, I can unlock the pohone with Swipe or Fingerprints, no PIN (the same is with Pattern and Password), i.e. only Swipe or Fingerprits is the unlocking way regardless what is set in Settings/Lock screen and security/Screen lock type. All updates incl.security are the latest ones. Any idea what is causing this? Thx
I think when you reboot the phone, it forces you to use a certain unlock method it deems most secure, all subsequent unlocks after that one should be the way you set it

Use fingerprint to wake screen without PIN?

Is there any way to use the fingerprint scanner to wake the screen without having to enter a PIN?
Yes, it's like that by default. Just put your finger on the scanner and it will unlock while waking from sleep.

That's the default setting.
You shouldn't need the PIN if the screen has simply timed out.

How do I set it up so that I don't need to enter a PIN every time I wake the screen?
As it is, when I enter/enroll my fingerprint, I have to assign a PIN as well. Then, every time I wake the screen, it also asks me for a PIN.
I'd like to be able to pick up the phone in the morning, touch the fingerprint sensor and unlock the phone without having to also enter a PIN.
It looks like there is timeout. If you just turn off and then use fingerprint, so phone will ask pin. But if phone went to sleep, you do not have to use pin, just finger.
My device only asks for the PIN after a reboot, otherwise the fingerprint will suffice.
Just like mine.
Yeaaaaaaaaah wtf? Did you set your phone to automatically power off and power on on a certain schedule? Because literally every Android phone that uses fingerprint unlock only requires pin or pass if phone was rebooted and only that once until you reboot again

Not exactly. The default doesn't include a fingerprint-wake option. I'm asking if it's possible to use the fingerprint sensor to wake the device without having to enter a pin.

I just set it up and entered my fingerprint and it asks me for a pin. Now, whenever I use the power button to lock the screen, it asks me for my pin instead of just waking up from scanner.

That's the default unlock option, you can unlock the phone with ur fingerprint without the need of pin.
The pin is only needed once you reboot the phone.
Very weird man. I'm thinking something in your settings is causing that

Okay. Mine's not working that way. Not sure why.
Check ur settings.
I think it has something to do with the Nova setting "Double tap" to sleep the screen. I disabled this and it works.
Good that you found the culprit.

In Settings / Fingerprint ID / Fingerprint Management (you will need your PIN here) is Unlock Screen set to On (blue with the circle on the right)?
Do you mean "wake" as in when you have put it to sleep by a short press on the power button, or by letting the screen timeout. Done that way, the default will unlock the phone by fingerprint - if you have set fingerprint as an option and enrolled at least one (and use that one)!
edit: I have just tried an app called Gravity Lock so that if I put my phone face down it would lock the screen. The problem with it is that it meant I had to use the PIN to unlock the phone, as the fingerprint was prevented by the app. I've uninstalled it (had to do that from with in the app) and the phone is back to unlocking by fingerprint.
Or do you mean "Start" which is when you have to reboot the phone having long pressed on the power button, and then chosen "Power Off" followed by "Power off". Can't think why you'd do that. That way, it takes appreciably longer to start and you get the Huawei logo and animations. After this, you'll need your PIN.

It seems the problem was using Nova's gesture double-tap to sleep the screen. When I disabled that, it works as it should.
