Do u have a backup of the files u replaced? If not, try replacing ur updated files with the files from the ROM zip. That should help.

Yes I used rom manager to make a backup,of my rom before I installed the update.
But, when I went too go restore the backup it told me "MD5 checksum missing" so that failed, hmm.

You are going to have to pull the files from the rom like said above, or reflash the rom its self.

Thanks,I pulled the files and works good.

Camera roll not working

I rooted my phone and downloaded root explorer to be able to delete some of the sony crap that came with my phone. Unfortunantly I believe that I deleted my camera roll files. I have no idea what the file name is or how to get it back. Also I was thinking, is there possibly something else I could download in replace of it as some sort of patch?
Any ideas would be great. Thank you.

Hi,
Be just as easy re flashing your phone and re-rooting.
Next time watch what you delete too.
This does sound like a good idea....

Other than re rooting and back up and restore and all that I would have to do.
After spending over 15 hours to figure out how to root my phone and put 2.1 on it I am a little hesitant to do it again. Although most of it was trial and error, id rather just patch it up if I could.
ideas for this method?

Hi Again,
personally no point trying to re-install your camera if you do not know what you have deleted, follow these steps -
re-flash your phone using sony update.
root your phone again use this- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=906248
Then install your custom rom if you are doing so.
Just to add download titanium backup from the market and also install xrecovery the link is here, once xrecovery is working and you have your phone working how you want use xrecovery to back up your phone then any future problems you will just have restore using xrecovery again-good luck.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=859571
Please always have a backup it will save you endless hours of frustration.
All system apps can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826849
The Camera Roll depends upon MediaScape being installed. So if you deleted that crap, then the Camera Roll won't work.

Read this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
Find a custom or stock rom here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200403
Read buddy plz dont go around just asking questions. At the level your at 99% of what you have to ask is already answered.
Sorry if u didnt get my questions right.
It´s maybe because of my english.
I know how to flash a rom.
the only problem is, that this rom needs to be on the sd-card.
But i dont have access to my sd-card.
So i gotta find a way to get access to my card anyhow. I maybe need an adapter for my pc to copy a rom on the sd-card.
But thx, for your quick reply.
germanHD
Does Windows pick up your phone as a device?
You may be able to get to the SD card from there - or failing that maybe you can reinstall the RUU file?
Hi,
no it dont get it as device. But i just called a friend, he will bring his phone and we try it this way.
thx

Good luck - hope you get sorted
I finally brought it back to work.
I managed to copy a ROM on my sd-card with another phone.
Thx
germanHD
You could also remove your memory card, put it in an adapter and attach it direct to your PC then put the rom on the SD card that way. The in recovery you should be able to install from the SD card...this assumes of course that recovery can see the SD card. If not, bigger problems lol

I think anyshare is in playstore... you can install it, then odex it with an other app of your choice... the error must then disappeared but you may run on other errors like that if you have unistall other apps too.
Why don't you just flash a rom of your choice?

Here is the fxz file if that's what your looking for. http://motofirmware.center/files/file/638-vzw-xt926-442-kda2062-151-cfc-1ffxmlzip/ Flash it with RSDlite. If you need a stock nandroid I can make one using my stock kitkat firmware on TWRP if you absolutely need it. I would recommend flashing the fxz through RSD lite tho.

So your bootloader is locked? This is the latest firmware but according to this post: http://www.droidrzr.com/topic/54379-fxz-442-1834615/ you cannot root this build if you were not unlocked prior to doing the update. I found this somewhere else tho. Perhaps try it to root. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58948308&postcount=11 What do you mean date and time not working, like the android system date and time? That's odd.

I once had this problem too, when the date was set to 1970 and could not be changed. Could you try removing and reattaching the battery that helped in my case.

[Help] My Bluetooth folder got deleted

Hello guys
I have a problem. My Bluetooth won't turn on because my folder with the Bluetooth Share apk in it got deleted.
Don't ask me how I did this... I am absolutly clueless myself. I couldn't get it back by restoring the phone.
I hope someone can help me.
Btw. my honor 8 is rooted.
nougat? if so, do soundrecorder/calendar/compass/nfc work? if not, prolly wiped data partition. bluetooth aswell as mentioned apps are tied to data/hw_init
Just reflash your stock firmware.
Sent from my Honor 8 using XDA Labs
Reflash using dload
It seems like my calendar works without a problem but my nfc/soundrecorder/compass don't work.
Reflashing usin dload doesn't seem to fix it...
Tried reflashing it with my stock firmware too no success.
yes :/
u obv wiped /data partition at some point. flashing both zips should've fixed that tho. in any case, dirty fix without wiping anything is to extract your update_data_full_hw_eu or whichever u have, move it to /data via some sort of root explorer, so the path looks like /data/hw_init, and apply proper permissions to all files and folders: rwxr-xr-x to folders, rw-r--r-- to files. this works. alternatively you could take the same files and push them to proper locations in /system, also applying same permissions.
however, dload should work
Seems like I'm to dumb to flash my device proparly.
But made a dirty fix. The bluetooth share app shows up now but I still can't turn bluetooth on. Thank you for your help up to now.
didnt really bother with it because i received OTA, but as far as i can tell, issue is not with the zips, rather security checks. those 2 data files can be merged to one no problem, a little fix to updater-script and its fine, you have 2 files to flash. still wont work due to issues with updater.app check
well there is always complete reflash via dload :/
