Is there something wrong with this? It is $150 less than what I would pay here in NY (assuming no taxes). It's 3G it's Mz600 which is evdo. Is that a problem? Do you think this is too good to be true?
Thank you!

Well its says five sold. But its ended. It looks too good to be true from my perspective but what do I know...

Selling HTC TOUCH PRO - RAPHAEL

Hello, I am selling my HTC TOUCH PRO - Raphael. It has been used for 2 weeks.
The condition is AS NEW. There are no scratches, marks or dents at all.
Screen Protector was fitted from the day of purchase.
It comes boxed with all accessories that I have received with it.
It is unlocked to all networks and Hard SPL will also come installed on it. Unless you want Stock SPL installed. Any Rom of your choice will come installed or Any stock rom will come installed. You choose.
This phone has a small vodafone logo at the front and at the back.
I am not putting up any pictures because this is my only camera.
I will ship to the E.U. and will get proof of postage which means I have really posted it. Postage will be next working day for the UK using royal mail special delivery and for the rest of the countries will be 3-8 working days.
Payment is by paypal. Price that I want is 400GBP including postage.
This is a very cheap price because they are very expensive on shops.
Any questions please ask here on this thread. Or PM me.
I am a genuine person. The only reason I am selling this is because I have ordered a new TOUCH HD from play.com using my credit card. and will have to pay for it in the next couple of weeks. Therefore need to sell this ASAP so I can pay for the other one. Otherwise BANK will kill me. LOL
PS: paypal is gone highly secured now. They have removed their protection limits so that means if you buy the phone for 1000 POUNDS you are protected for the FULL ammount. UK postage will be covered up to 500 POUNDS insurance. International Postage will not be covered with insurance but it will be posted using the safest method of posting from Royal Mail.
PRICE: 400GBP INCLUDING POSTAGE. ANY QUESTIONS ASK HERE OR PM.
Thank You
Do you really think you can get that much price?
I've got a brand new in box with seal not even broken for 310 from ebay, the normal price on ebay for brand new is between 350-380
Good luck!

Hello, Thank you for replying.
I am sorry to tell you that you are mistaken, the cheapest price on ebay currently is 420pounds plus postage. If i put my phone on ebay I can deffinately get 400 including postage for it. If you got yours for 310 then you are very lucky. My reason to put it in here is that I am giving a chance to buy this phone to someone that is a member of this community. If i do not sell within a couple of days. I will put it on ebay. Thank You
I don't think it's really necessary to strike doubt in potential buyers' minds in the seller's thread, if you don't agree with his price, don't buy his phone. I feel bad for the rest of the world, including you guys in the UK who are trying to sell your Raphael, once the Fuze releases there will be a flood of unlocked European Touch Pro's on the market. Good luck with the sale.

Well considering the dollar is weak compared to the Euro or GBP wouldn't be suprised if people buy the HTC Fuze from the US. $500 bucks for a Fuze is great considering what somebody in Europe is going to pay. Granted you are losing the front camera.

And you're losing 3G, the Fuze is dual-band UMTS 850/1900.
Not likely for them to buy it for that reason.

Why would the US version be tri-band while the European version is dual-band? It doesn't make sense... I can't say I've seen a retail box yet, until then I'm not sure.

Coz the FUZE which is the US version accepts the all the UMTS bands. I have read it on review. If you want I can send u the link. But my question is why the hell AT&T or SPRINT or any US network remove the front camera from their phones?

Because they don't support video calling. The Fuze certainly doesn't support ALL of the UMTS bands, that'd be a penta-band UMTS phone. 850/900/1700/1900/2100. If anything it does one of these 2: 850/1900 or 850/1900/2100.
actually its triband umts!! i was really surprised when i bought it as well. I can definately see the fuze being in more demand than the touch pro, as its truly a world phone. here is a picture for the doubters, right off the box of my at&t fuze:
doesnt that also make you think that the touch pro has these bands, but they need to be enabled via software? i know that people have been working on this un-successfully for a while, but it makes no sense for htc to make two different chips.. seems un-necessarily expensive and makes no sense, why would they want to limit such an expensive phone??

Well, yes and no. Normally you'd say "oh man the Touch Pro has to support tri-band"... If that's the case, okay, 900/2100, and what? 1900? 850? Either way it's not supporting both North American UMTS bands unless it's a QUAD-band UMTS phone. We're forgetting the Touch Pro isn't 850/2100 or 1900/2100, it's 900/2100. So are you saying the North American version can have 900mhz UMTS unlocked via software as well? The Tilt was tri-band, I don't see quad-band UMTS in these phones, that's just my opinion.

I have the HD (collected from HandTec on Thursday) - I also have the Diamond and the Pro and so have been comparing them constantly for a few days now.
My conclusion so far for what its worth - the HD is NOT an upgrade from the Pro or Diamond - it is in fact a very different phone and should be considdered in its own right and not compared. As a business user - stick with the Pro - for general phone use - go for the diamond - for entertainment on the move - the HD "may" be the phone for you? I'll be sticking with my Pro for general business use and will continue to work on the HD for now....
Hope this helps......

Nooooooo..... DON'T DO IT......!!!!! if you've ordered the HD as an upgrade from the Pro - send the HD back to play unopened - you'll be dissapointed....
If it was a completely different "phone" experience you were looking for then you'll be fine but if your expecting a step up from the Pro to the HD then you'll be dissapointed...... Sigh....
.
I think the HD is really my kinda phone honestly, I love everything about it. I'm someone who doesn't own a digital camera, so my phone is my only camera... 5MP? Perfect. I also don't own an mp3 player... Headphone jack? Awww yeahhh! Keyboard would be nice, but with a 3.8" screen I'd be fine. The only thing that kills me is the lack of 3G, I do absolutely everything with my phone, and edge just won't cut it (no pun intended).

Can someone sell me an AT&T Fuze?

Can someone run to their AT&T and get me an AT&T Fuze then put it on ebay to sell it to me? I know that a lot of you guys can get much better price than me. I'm from Montreal and I'll pay for the auction fee and the shipping.
Make me a good offer guy...
some guy from this forum offer me $450, but I haven't heard from him back yet.
????
??????WTF???????
It's not very easy to find people who are interested in making as least money as possible, but perhaps this is worth a shot
Don't know about the Fuze, but I have connections to folks who want to sell the Brooklyn Bridge

There is no AT&T store near Montreal... the closest one is about 4hr drive. I'll be driving 4hr there, and then another 4hr back...
For the gas, and for time I'm spending on top of a $550, it's really not worth it. Also, I'm not even sure that they have in stock or they are willing to sell it to me.
Anyway, I got a deal in Canada... $660 CAD
which is not bad, considering it's saving me all those troubles.

buy htc mytouch 4g

Hey guys!! I just joined recently!
Anyway, my question is the following:
I want to buy mytouch 4g, but I live in Canada. I found an online store called negri electronics! Now I haven't made purchases online beside ebay. They have this phone avaliable and I'd order it, but problem is i am uncertain.
Has anyone else bought a phone from them before? Is it really brand new and never used before (zero air time minutes). They have this phone unlocked at $535.50 and states it is brand new.
Is there any other online place I can order this phone from and get a better deal?!
I'd travel to states bufflo, but the t-mobile store is sold out completely!
Thanks guys!

I would say wait for it to be in stock at T-mobile. Retail on this phone is $450 and you will have a better chance of warranty in case anything happens. Unlock codes are super cheap nowadays, you can buy one for $5 if T-mobile won't give you one but I think they're have to unlock it for you if you buy it outright and as for it. You can also ask the store to hold one and call you as soon as they get it.
Other option would be to find someone on Craigslist close by and pick it up for $400 or less.
If you're really determined to pick one up from that store... just google it and see what people are saying about them. I've never heard of them, Wirefly OTH has MT4G for $539 (not including shipping or unlocking though) but they're trusted retailer.
And finally, if you're willing to pay that much money for a phone, why don't you just find Desire HD? Nicer phone IMHO (same hardware but bigger screen, better appearance and better camera.)
Good luck.
Oh, htc desire HD is better? I am not sure lol. I liked this one cause in canada we have Windmobile, their phones are pretty much crap for aws band .
Thanks for your insightful comment! I really appreciate it! and I will take a look into Wirefly OTH as well!
I have to pay $500+ anyway even for t-mobile store because the amount of gas that goes in, ends up around that price. I don't really wanna travel to the states because it comes down to same price, just with a lot of headache and driving and all lol.
thanks though!

OTH was my abbreviation for "On The other Hand"... perhaps not the best one lol It's just WIREFLY.COM . I used them few times, they are not bad at all and really cheap with contract. They are still more without one. Do you have any relatives in states? That could be your golden egg right there
Nooo, I don't know anyone in the states.
So, I don't really have a choice now. I just wanna make sure that negri electronics is a reliable place to buy such an expensive phone! I hope it is brand new and really the genine product! thats my main concern, I don't really mind paying that price, but I don't really have a choice now do i? lol
thanks!

About Desire HD, I don't think you can find one online for less than 650+. I've been looking for days and it's only available on ebay for around 700+ or on some UK websites that don't look that good like expansys.com and handtec.co.uk
for around 650.
;-)
I can get u one brand new unlocked for 500 and u pay shipping, let me know asap by PM ;-)

[Q] Samsung Perks Wifi v. (Verizon) LTE model

I have seen some mention in a couple threads here, but nothing definitive. Is there any difference in the Samsung Perks offered for the Wifi versus LTE (specifically Verizon) models? Can anyone who has received the Verizon model chime in with their experience with what perks are offered, or even a shot of the protective screen film that lists them off?
Much obliged.

And now I feel foolish, because though I read the asterisk'd text, I completely missed the link to the full terms. Sigh. Thank you.
I wonder, why do they do this? Why can't you get the same Perks on the Note12.2 no matter if you've bought it at Verizon or the WiFi version? Luckily, I got the years subscription to Evernote using my Note3...which is odd, because that's also on Verizon.
Though I suggest everyone read through the full terms and conditions (because knowledge), the perks that aren't available to the Verizon variant are Dropbox space, 1 year Evernote, and RemotePC. I wonder as well why these three aren't offered to Verizon customers. I would say that it's because VZW offers competing services, but aside from dropbox that isn't true. I could also guess that perhaps there were network/data concerns with Dropbox/RemotePC, but that doesn't really follow for Evernote.
Probably just stupid Licensing/Contract stuff behind the scenes that have changed since the Note 3 came out.
What is really aggravating is you are paying more for the same product but getting less. It'd stand to say that the services you're missing out on are worth about $100 but you're paying $100 more for the LTE version so they're making some $200 off of those of us that simply want mobility... Where's the offer for $50 in play credit? I didn't see that anywhere when I was setting it up. Or am I mistaken?
Thanks guys!

There's only a $25 Play Credit advertised and I got that within an hour of registering the device. I DID get a $50 Credit with my Note3 so I have a $75 Samsung Play Store Credit Balance right now. You have to register your device with Samsung to get most of these "perks".

I got the wrong Nexus 5 model

Hey guys.
I have a strange request. I just bought a new Nexus 5 in the USA and did not even think about it being different versions in North-America and in the rest of the world. Anyhow I live in Europe and now I can't access LTE (only 3G) because my phone carrier uses a mobile band that my phone cant use. I contacted both Google and my carrier and neither could do anything (been more than 15 days).
So I was wondering if anyone here had resolved this without switching out the phone? Any hardware or software changes?
Hope to hear from someone
I may be wrong in saying this, but I believe there is an LG tool floating around that will actually allow you to low level flash your phone to switch model numbers.

821 and 820 have the same radio. The frequencies which they use are different which is a hardware thing. So, I don't think flashing the device with LG tool will do any good

Would it be possible to buy a European replacement part and switch them out?
Even if it were possible, it isn't going to be easy - these parts are not plug/play (usually soldered on, and very inaccessible). Having said that, I do realize that I don't know your skill set - you may be able to do it if you are good at it!
You may want to consider selling your Nexus 5 and buying the right model instead.
@Arthrox
If I were you, I would sell it off with a +- $50 loss margin and buy a new one. At least you will be certain to get warranty and you would get a new unused piece.
Forget about replacing the part. It ain't gonna happen.
The easiest is to sell your current one and buy the right model.
You really need to swap it unless you are a genius with soldering.
Well the problem with selling it is that nobody here in Iceland (unless he/she didn't know what he/she was doing) would buy a phone with no LTE coverage without some discount. Even if I would sell it to America the sending cost alone would be around $50. Then I would have to buy the phone in Europe and send it here (it is somewhat more expensive in Europe) so my loss would probably be more then $50 :/.
This sucks...

Yes, you'll take a loss. Need to research before buying anything....phones especially.
You have only 2 choices. Sell it and get another....or worst case, can't even sell it and still buy a new one. Or live without LTE. That's it.
Sorry. ?
Just a short version, but yes. Next time please research what you buy. There is no possible way for you to use LTE on your current device in Europe unless you perform a rather difficult hardware mod.
Your best bet, flash 4.4.4 factory image and erase everything, sell it on Swappa or eBay (highly recommend Swappa though) and then take your small loss, and purchase an international version. Best of luck.
