This is Notion Ink Adam Eden 1.5 ported for Toshiba Folio 100...
This is the new interface version from Notion.. Fixes A LOT problems with the old one... probably introduces new ones as well...
Regards goes to Dexter for a lot of help and to roebeet for the ViewSonic GTab version, on which this ROM was based.. And of course to everybody who I forgot...
What doesn't work:
Panels added is not persistant over reboot... (Apparently the same problem exist on the Real Notion???)
G-sensor working.. seems up-side-down in some games.. Working on fixing this...
Probably a lot more ... Please keep reporting back..

one question though, what kernel version is this rom using? is it the modded kernel by notion ink?

It's using the Dexters 2.6.32.9 kernel from FolioMod and FolioTNT..

you swapped the kernel from the original notion ink?
i think their kernel is modded in a different manner where it should be implementing both cores properly and making use of the gpu on the tegra2
I never had the original dump...
I ported the gtab version, which is using a custom gtab kernel...

I cant flash this rom. i flash from clockwork recovery and i get installation aborted with the message-assert failed: write_raw_image(cache/bootimage linux)-something.

Also I read on their website that the Notion Ink Adam comes with Flash, does the Adam contain a non beta-release of flash for Tegra?

Did you use clockworkmod? because i can't boot it.
Is The email klient better than k9 email? Is it possible to port it to our beloved foliomod?

Ok.. don't know what happened here.. if anyone has this problem, then just flash the lastest Foliomod first, and then FolioNotion after, ignoring errors...

Charger connected
Factory reset from recovery menu
Renamed FolioNotion0.1.zip to update.zip on my sd card
Updated from recovery menu
while installing I got an error, so updated again without restart
second error ... so I restart the device.. boom tapntap logo and it's working
I thought I got an error but at the end it worked and it's really cool mod.. thanks for your work testing right now ^^

Try "more locales" from Market, i'll see what i can do for next version....
Everything looks great except for the android keyboard crashing (simply turned it off in settings) and I cant see my SD card in Sniff or the other file manager preinstalled. Thanks anyway

problems list :
- No automatic rotation
- No compass
- some games works better than other distrib, but some less (radiant hd !)
- opengl is not optimized (1500 quadrant)
- market star is bugged !!
- more local language please !!

There are som mounting problems... try to reinsert a few times.. and it will mount... I'll try to figure it out...

Yes, with this mod too. I've the same waking up issue, but I haven't see any freeze !
Usb stick is working but sniffer doesn't see it... It's only available in usb-disk0 folder.
External SD is working very strangely.... One time I can see it, another time it's not possible...
Wifi is working very well.
There is no simple way to access Google Account Settings (like FolioTNT)..
I will continue to test this rom, I love it ! Thank you again

Well, I have installed the last build of your mod : it was running smoothly but I couldn't see my SDCard, so I rebooted my device (It was my third or fourth reboot). And after that I had the tablet memory corrupted issue..
After my first use of the ADB shell, it's OK now but I am returning under Foliomod...

I've tried the previous one NG V0.1 , and all is getting well after I've changed the keyboard .
For the NG v 0.2 , I can't access to the SDcard , even after a lot of reboot ...
for me, SDCard is working near perfectly.
At first boot I can see it, but after unplug and replug it's working !
USB storage and SD Card is working very strangely....
With Sniffer (app from NI Adam) I can see both external and internal SD Card, but I can't see USB Storage.
With ESTrong File Explorer I can see USB Storage in /sdcard/usb-disk0, but I can't see External SD

After boot... try to just unplug the sd-card and reinsert it.... it should now work...

- libsurfaceflinger/etc/etc has died: Possible that you have not partitioned sdcard correctly. You need a fat32 partition, 512mb ext4 partition, and a 64mb swap partition.
- phone reboots into recovery for no reason: Please fastboot wipe and closely follow the procedures again.

Yeah, i did what you told me and used it. Using the apps from the SFM build 1.2 the ROM is much smaller ^__^

For camera, try viewing this, it shows what libs the camera binaries rely on if you use it right, then you'd just have to reverse engineer the libs for GingerSense

Ehhm, you got a Magic 32A... Why would you need this sense ROM? There arent any ROM's for another device here besides the G1 which is only comparable to the Magic 32B!
And i dunno if i can upload it till thursday, but i'll give my best.
I got a working version of SFM 1.2. It's fairly stable and not too laggy. If anyone wants, I'll be happy to share.

No, I am using my rom utility at the moment but will work on CMW at a later stage. Its not difficult to get it working but its not a priority.
Well, 2D and 3D acceleration is "working" as per antutu but I have not done any real testing so I cant really say. There are a few more graphics libraries to be ported though. hardware codecs still need more work as I have not look into it.
hdmi is definitely not working as I have not worked on it yet. Well, I guess a reasonable usable beta version might be out soon for testing.

Hi KK, just to let you know that I have been trying to download the CWM file for a couple of days now, but it seems to always fail to download after about 1 to 2 Mb. Not so sure what's up with filefactory
yeah, i want to give a test very much. But it seems download link is broken.
Noted the feedback on filefactory and indeed the download performance is very bad. I will upload it to mediafire which hopefully will help. On another note, I do have the intention to delay a little bit since I am in the mist of getting the romkit to work.
Perhaps, the romkit can be used in the future to download new release of rom.

beta should be out soon as there are some loose end to be tighten up. note though that it will still be beta with lots of bugs though very usable.
Nice work man, thanks. I test the new desk environment and some thing regular do, it performs well, i love the task bar expecially sound control fuction and the battery meter. But i get some troubles too, such as the pad dead suddenlly when i open opera mobile web browser by opening ten tabs. And another is display switch problem, it works well when using an app, but can't switch the "home" button to left in the screen launcher.
I am not test game performance though, like modern combat 3, i will do next day. Last, this mod is great, thanks again.

I used your Oma_RK29_CWM_6.0.2.8_touch and work fine~
still the same problem for me with my parameter, could you fix it please? i really like to have that 2.4go partition! I try to edit the file, but fail ;(
the d970 parameter is include in the attached file Aosp_OMA_D970.7z with some bad quality screenshoots :crying:
I flash with 120dpi, see pics to compare.
again, unlucky with format nand! AOSP_4.2.2_Format_NAND_Fix ;( ;( maybe my parameter is wrong? I'm a noob, so I dont really know..
still the emulated legacy and no direct acces to microsd or usb storage..

Did you try the "sensor_90_degree_fix" for this rom?
No problem with nand and mounting device?

Yes I did, and it didn't work.
Reproductor MX is slow when you want to start a film.
any advice for devices that fail to pass the bootanimation.in my case alcatel T10?

Have noticed that the apps2sd is not permitted in this version. Reverted back to stock JB 4.1.1 and am getting higher antutu scores.
Hello, I tested yesterday to install this 4.2.2 in a Wolder Mitab Sunset and works fine, thank you Oma :good:
I installed it using boot and system from your rom, and all the rest stuff from the official 4.0 from Wolder, if I try to install with all your stuff, the tablet doesnt boot.
I have two problems:
- Rotation, in all of your versions, if I leave automatic rotation, the screen is 180º rotated. I will try to install CrewRKTablets_AOSP_4.2.2_Sensor_90_Degree_Fix.zip, but I think it will not work, because I remember that I try this in previous rom version.
- gmail app, in the gmail app, I see the messages in three triplicated columns...
An a question? Do this rom have o will have bluetooth (with a usb dungle) support?

hi all,
Have a Technaxx techtab 8" and i tried this Rom with kernel intex itab 12T065.
No camera, no rotation, and on storage Nand is not show, still with Root explorer can see both external sdcard and Nand.
Else, every thing ok, in my simple knowledge.

Now i'm busy with exams at the university, so i can't work on it right now... From September 20th I'm free until new lessons start so I'm working on the kernel to add OTG support (I hope to do it )
