Is there anyway to customise the lock screen?

I know there is and its posted somewhere on here but not sure where. Seems like a process tho, I wanted to use the unlock that the Droid X has but don't wanna go thru everything ii have to do

Anyone else notice the lock screen settings isn't working? How can I get it to work? I hate the pull down to unlock! I like tabs
Had vaelpak and it also had lock screen settings and never worked there either...it let's me set it up how I like but doesn't stay..help.

I have used search..All morning. Not getting any useful answers using search so I asked. So anyone know how to remove stock lock screen? I heard that for some phones deleting the clock will also delete ur music app and mess up regular clock...hmm

I'm a new sidekick user. Using gov2 as my rom.
I wanted to know if there is a way to remove the double lockscreen effect when you enable pattern lock. I can't seem to find a answer on this when I searched.
Whether it be an app or a different rom or somthing.

use go locker from the market, you can even have custom themes and whatnot
My beloved HTC HD2 is dying, so I ordered a new, no-contract phone. The Samsung Galaxy 2 4G seemed the best of the available options.
I've tried, repeatedly, to adjust "location and security" settings for "set screen lock" to NONE; however, it just won't take. I've tried setting a code, which does set, and then telling it none, but every time I turn on the phone, it wants me to swipe the screen to get to my apps.
Is this stupid thing part of Gingerbread? Part of Samsung? Fixable? (How, please?) Or am I stuck with it?

Use either free NoLock from market (a little glitchy) or Delayed Lock (paid but more reliable.)
I'm fairly sure that in CM7 you're able to bypass the lock screen via settings. I can't remember exactly, and I'm on CM9, so I can't go and check.

Factory reset its an option too (of course you will lost data but use this as your last option)
don't think factory reset will work... everyone has to swipe the screen to get to the homescreen.

bumpity bump bump bump. I need to know how to disable slide unlock and keep the pattern lock. it's driving me insane
Some phones have a setting to "show unlock screen before/after pin screen" It sounds like you don't have this setting though
I would suggest flashing to a custom rom? which will either not have the same issue, or have a setting to switch slide screen off
Is there an exact reason as to WHY he would want that...? It probably wastes .5 seconds of his life to slide the slider across
