I just downloaded RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_3.28.405.0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.17.56_Ship from the official HTC e-Club site with a date of 02-07-08 (dd/mm/yy).
I wonder if its worth to upgrade, because I'm running RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_3.28.405.0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.16.25_Ship now.
Also, can somebody tell me if I can restore a sprite backup afterwards or better not?

If this radio can make the GPS functioning better (read faster), then I will flashed it right away. But how to rip the radio
Confirmed the same radio update for ITA ROM (just checked on e-club).
IF I remember correctly...the last time a 17 was in the radio it became absolute hell to remove...!!!!!
No problem to change this new radio so I think it doesnt from hell, hehe.

And tilt users also cannot install a htc rom. For that you'll need to super cid your device. If you are doing so, i recommend a cooked rom.

The archive from RS seems to be fine. Try do download it again. (file size reported by Windows should be 7,830,225 bytes)

I just downloaded it and flashed my device.
I was using Garmin DK.1
so far so good.
I like the fact that its a OEM ROM with default look and feel.

I agree with people that say Tilt owners can't get TyTN II updates on the HTC E-Club
When I login to HTC E-Club and look at the devices. I see the AT&T Tilt.
I dont see the HTC TyTN II
So it all depends on where you live and what device you have/registered with HTC.

I just got this today from HTC
RUU_Ace_Gingerbread_S_hTC_Asia_WWE_2.37.707.3_Radio_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2_release_188759_signed
Not sure if any cookers want this to try out this built. I didnt dare flash it as I'm not sure will be able to downgrade (I believe this is 2.37 ???)
I am a complete noob on how to post the file 265MB file but if anyone wants this pls let me know how I can post it up ya.
WARNING:
Please note that you may not be able to downgrade to a lower version after upgrading. The downgrade option on this site only supports till 2.36 so far if my understanding is correct.

Gingerbreak will not work, and it is not downgradeable unless you have Radio S-OFF. You can already see that in the version number.

Nope, Radio S-OFF just allows you to downgrade.
I already flash this RUU 2.37.707.3 and i can downgrade just flash RUU 1.32.707.1 and i feel the camera in 2.37 asia better than 2.36 wwe version

So this is the actual 2.3.7 and yet you can downgrade to older version? Any other improvements apart from the Camera? Does Connected Media works well for streaming? The original 2.2 does not
Hi, I have found mentioned on gsmhosting forum about new RUU for ChaCha phone.

I think not if you have unbranded phone. But if you got phone from carrer, you will need to debrand first, and for do this, you will need to have s=off.
Right now still looking for this soft to download, and it is hard to find it...

This is not that. 1.25 is easy to find, and this is for Asia. We are looking 1.33.
Radio is that same, but we looking for whole firmware, becouse radio can be changed simply and is available here.
Any news from Rom 1.33?
I can not believe in the big Internet this file can not be found for download.

Hi, I have a UK ChaCha tied to T-Mobile. I want to wipe the phone entirely of all T-Mobile software and return it back to how it came from the factory so it will work on any UK network but specifically O2 for the time being.
I`ve been told to hunt down a "clean unbranded factory rom".
Is this available yet and if so how is it done?
Please could somebody also tell me what S=off or S=On means too.
I build PC`s occasionally so not entirely useless but this is all very new to me.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If so (and you're S-ON), don't upgrade, you'll lose the gingerbreak root vulnerability.

I dont think 2.3x is anything special. This is just the 4.1 update for Vodafone Germany.
Just to throw it out there, Vodafone France and Orange UK are supposed to be on 2.34 going by HTCDev.
This also means the One XL is perhaps alive and well(aka selling) in France and UK now, adding a few more large/key regions to the mix.
Baseband is barely a higher build than 2.29 was.

I think niceppl was the lucky one with s-off out of the box. Should be the only one with s-off as far as I know...
If any one flashes this thing, or somehow manages to extract the rom.zip shoot me over a copy of the radio.img or post how you got it to extract properly.....

For a second I thought it was JB ROM for the One S. What is it taking it so long for a JB Rom to be leaked for the One S? The one X had JB based custom Roms for a while!

It is a stock 4.03 (1.11.701 Build) but this was very hard to find for me (sorry, i speak no Chineese ) so i thinked i post it it here... Much S3 Devices swapped via hungary general distributor to the EU and are here available for about €300.- new here in german speaking area!
So the problem is they all are S-ON and it is no SuperCID for S3 available till now (online tutorials failed for me). So if u ulock bootloader, flash recovery and flash a custom ROM you can´t go back without the right RUU for your CID...
If someone have a idea how i can get SuperCID or change my CID to "HTC__102" (Europe WWE) it would be great!

What about the standard procedure: unlock, root, then pull block mmcblk0p4 and search for the CID (i would guess its at the exact same offset), hex edit that block and then push it back to the chip.
That doesn't work on the VilleC2?

If you Upgrade to 4.04 ,You can not flash RUU 4.03 because Hboot is height than old version 4.03.Please waiting RUU 4.04 HTC WWW Asia or change CID complete for S3 version guy .:laugh:
