are people using silcone protective cases for the back and sides of the device if so shich ones and what are you views
bought a cheap one of flea bay to start with but the power button is awfull to use with it on?

seen some nice cases for the N1, will they fit the desire or are there some buttons that wont align properly??

the gel cases with the red nexus one on the back (< £3) fit the desire. you can use the power and volume buttons through the case, everything else can be used if you line the holes up when you fit it.
thats the only one i've tried, but have now ordered one made for the desire to replace it.

I bought similar from ebay, but for a lot less than the one your looking at, shop around.
Only thing I experienced is that due to the Desire having a "chin" it stretches the case to make a very tight fit (hey it's silicone so it gives) and this only shows in that the power switch recess in the cover is slightly offset from the handset. Doesn't hamper anything though

I like it but the side buttons are a really hard to press. Almost impossible to adjust the volume with one hand while on the phone.
Now the first one you posted looks really nice. It seems to cover the side buttons as well but I like it.

Just don't buy these cheap case. Side buttons are not usable, it's just waste of money. It's better to add a 10£ extra and get a quality one.

Before buying my Samsung Galaxy S Plus I read on several sites that the hull will be metal (unlike the Galaxy S that has the plastic).
Out on my Galaxy S Plus hull is exactly the same as on a Galaxy S.
Note that I live in France.

Plastic here in finland too... i have gelaskins on back so it's not so slippery in hand...and looks much better then black plastic.

Mine's plastic too (im in Holland, with Polish device) and I use a silver casemate. Works like a charm!
I thought I saw other types of battery covers online...so maybe you can buy a metallic cover on the web.

You can buy silicon back on ebay. Is cheap and better than original.
I am looking to trade my near mint conditon Samsung Droid Charge for a Thunderbolt. It has a Black Carbon Skinz cover and screen protector on it. Hi, I am the proud owner of the Sy, but my only gripe is the battery in it being small and doesnt really stand up to a days useage without having to be charged. I am interested i buying a battery extender case, but ibwant a flip top n, but i also want it with either a clear flip front like the clearview case or a cut put in the fromt to viee notifications. My question is where sells these, i can only see 1 online but it hasnt great reviews, i woild prefer a battery case that isn't too bulky and with visible notification without having to open the cover. Would anyone know wherr I can be utchase 1 of these from? If so please could ypu post the links in this thread. Thanks in advanc4e
