good job Paul!!

Perfect!! gonna give a try now!

A2SD is not included in the prebaked roms?

side question to this rom, probably easy to answer:
Is there a way to apply the nexus bootscreen, nexus Lockscreen and standard android dialer to apply to this mod?
or is the dialer included in the standard contacts app?

Does this ROM fix the low volume problem?

Re: 05/May r1 - MoDaCo Custom ROM for HTC Desire with Online Kitchen
I flashed the ROM, then found a bug.
after I installed document2go, gmail & gtalk stopped working. gtalk won't refresh & gtalk won't even load.
hope Paul will see this & fix the bug.
thanks for the work.
Sent from my HTC Desire using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk

Can I ask how do I actually install this ROM??
I have rooted (obviously) and gone in to Recovery mode but I only see update from update.zip on SD card even though the other file is on there too
Any help greatly appreciated!

are the zip files at the sdcards root?

are the zip files at the sdcards root directory?

Hi bro, i'll test your rom once i figure out the sickening A2SD thingy with Leedroid.

DamageControl v3.6
Newest OTA, Updated DConfig, Other goodies
DamageControl 3.6 is more of a "maintenance-release". We have been busy at work on a new ROM, DamageControl 4.0 that has many of the new apps and other goodies that we have been working on over the last few months. DamageControl 3.6 brings the newest OTA with updated stock and 3rd party apps, updated DConfig and other "damaged apps", as well as other tweaks and optimizations.
We also have set up a Google Code wiki/bug tracker so that you can log bugs online. That is available at:
http://code.google.com/p/damagecontrol/
We look forward to feedback so that we can make our ROM, apps in our ROM, and the entire experience better.
We would also like to thank all the beta testers who helped make this ROM what it is.

[TOOL] [Feb 4, 2011] Android Customization Suite 1.2.2 - devs/themers read me!

Android Customization Suite 1.2.2
This is a program to complement your ROM. It is able to produce a CWM flashable zip with apps your ROM might be missing (T-Mob ones, launchers, utilities, etc). It also has other tools available for you. It can produce an empty flashable zip for you (read more about it here). And now, it has "repositories." Developers can upkeep their own repos with whatever files they wish. Roms, themes, mods, etc.
need Epic devs/themers/modders to talk to me to get their work added on here!
in the mean time, you guys can mess with the Utilities in the Vibrant section just to get a feel for it

Instructions
Download. Note: you must have Java installed to run this app
WHILE YOU ARE DOWNLOADING MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP
Unzip the folder. Please keep it intact. Moving files around in there will probably break the functionality.
Run ACS.jar.
Choose desired apps.
Wiping Dalvik cache is recommended, but it will take you about 5 minutes to boot
Copy flash.zip to your internal sd card
Flash with CWM
Linux users: if you are running Linux I advise you to use the run.sh file to run the program, otherwise it may use your home directory to store files
Mac users: you need to have java 1.6 installed for this to work. i tested this on a friend's mac (running 10.5.8 & java 1.5) and it wasn't working. also i was not able to update her java to 1.6 either. so i'm assuming you need to have snow leopard installed for this to work...
Devs:
Check out this reference guide for more info on setting up a repo list. Feel free to contact me for any clarification. It's really not hard to do it, just have to understand how the app works a little. The guide should give insight and instruction. Contact me to add your repo to the list.
Options Note
If you want to change the location of system apps, please make your selections first THEN change the location

-the application will not recognize APKs and files outside of itself, so for instance if you have an APK that you want to add just put it in the corresponding folders.
-- for instance my VCK.jar is in folder /vck/, i want to add hi.apk. I could move it to /vck/data/app/hi.apk and when you click generate zip, the program should include it. please contact me if this is unclear or you have questions, this is only a minor feature :)
v0.3 ALHPA
-Renamed to Vibrant Customization Kitchen (thanks BruceElliot)
-re-organized tabs a little
-fixed bug where program would not work properly after generating a zip (thanks jdanisevich)
-Launchers & Misc tab should work
v0.2 ALPHA
-Most Vibrant Apps added (missing TMO TV & Media Hub for now)
-Misc Tab works now (minus GB keyboard, didn't work for me for some reason)
v0.1 ALPHA
-Initial Release

I was just looking at http://romkitchen.org/ yesterday, and wishing we had something like this for the Epic. I would LOVE to have the flexibility to choose what goes into the ROM on my phone without having to actually learn how to make a ROM. Plus, it would expand the options well beyond the dozen or so that we currently have available for the Epic. I vote yes on this!
This would be totally sweet!

This would be nice. The current Devs do an awsome job. This would allow others without as much technical knowlege (myself included) to produce custom roms and hopefully expand this scene even further.

This doesn't have the ability (yet.. maybe) to cook roms. It can generate a zip to add files to your current ROM.
I'd have to code another module or something to get it to be able to cook roms. It's definitely possible. I'd probably need another Java coder

I been meaning to ask this for a while now:
Whats the difference between using a utility like this one to "Cook roms" and simply using 7zip to add and remove apk's,ringtones, boot animations and other files?

It doesn't cook roms!
It provides a simple way for users to get apps in a simple flashable format
And the difference is cooking just takes the manual labor out of that, that's it
do it !!!!!!!!!!!!

[Rom][32A][6.35] GBRider_v5 (ezterry build) 2.3.2 alpha (08-Feb-2011)

I ported the latest GB from ezterry, bypass, Firerat and others to the 32a Magic 6.35 radio.
This rom uses carz's v0.70 kernel.
How to install ROM:
1. Nand backup
2. Wipe cache and dalvik
3. Flash GB rom (rapidshare, multiupload )
4. Flash gapps (rapidshare, multiupload )
5. Reboot
Not Working:
-Cam and video recording
-Google voice search
-Google listen
-GB screen off animation
-USB connect (it is now working with carz's latest 2.6.35 kernel but this kernel is beta --> if desired, download kernel and flash from recovery, but be sure to have SEO's recovery installed first )
Working:
-Gmail
-BT
-Wifi
-GPS
-3G/2G
-Phone calls
-Youtube
-Smooth UI
-No FCs (assuming you do not use cam)
-Root
-Most everything
I've included Astro File Manager and Titanium Backup to make restoring apps easier.

....dsixda for his kitchen Link: [KITCHEN] Basic ROM kitchen for aspiring Magic cooks by dsixda
This rom is for the 32A Magic / Sapphire.
You need the new radio 6.35.10.18 or 6.35.16.19, SPL 1.76.2007 and recovery-RA-Magic32A-6.35-v1.6.2 or recovery-RA-hero-v1.6.2.img or recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0H.img or recovery-RA-magic+-v2.0.0.1-seo.img.
It might work on with other recovery images, but I have not tested them.
If you do not know how to change your radio, SPL and recovery, click here at Cursor's post.
*NOTE*
I am not sure how much support I will provide for this rom.
I will try to update whenever the rom devs release updates that will port over to our phones.
If you don't know what you're doing and have a question that is not specifically related to this rom, please search google, XDA, etc. first before you ask.
I am not responsible if you brick your phone. Nand backups are your friend

I'll add some later, but this is AOSP Gingerbread so the screens look the same as they do on other phones.
Here are some I found that are the same on our phones:

It' Google Pinyin, a Chinese input method from Google.
Btw, 2.3's GUI is ugly.
- Gps not working.
- Gmail is loading the mail message and closing right after that

Just installed the rom on 32a:
gmail works and everything also too!!
The only issue I have is with facebook, it doesn't add the account in the account&syncing menu so it doesn't sync with my contact! The application works...
I'm facing the facebook issue too. GPS not working also. but otherwise, everything else is good!
Great Rom. Thanks for the great job.
1. The performance of the default launcher is not acceptable, changed to LauncherPro, works fine.
2. Install the latest Gmail 2.3.2, works fine.
3. Performance overall better than the FroyoRider.
4. GPS not working. Cannot find the workaround solution.
5. No USB mount notification after the Magic is connected with the PC using the USB cable
Thanks for the feedback.
These bugs are known issues and some are being looked into by ezterry, Firerat, bypass, etc.
I'm keeping an eye on their progress and will update to GBRider_v3 when they've implemented fixes that I can port.
Great job Giant_Rider!
giant_rider continue working because you have many fans who are rooting for you to Gingerbread
Any idea why Gmail works for some people and doesn't for others? I'm one of the unlucky ones...

Have you installed the latest version from the Market? I did that and now Gmail works fine.
The only issue I have is with the gps...any idea guys how to fix that?
In last build from ezterey with carz kernel gps works fine.

I have been watching for like a week waiting for this to come to some sort of climactic crash, however, I am so curious I must flash this after trying a few other builds of yours some that worked, some not so much. Dont feel bad sir as with all things there has to be trial and error or nothing would ever be mastered. So I hope this works out for ya because it was looking real promising there for a moment! Thanks for the effort no matter the outcome.

Alright, its early stage right now so not too many changes, soon as I find the data partition for the updater-script everything will be on piont:good:
So my HTC Inspire didn't blow up, good. This DID boot up, this DID connect to Wi-Fi. I poked around a bit and unless Google is down the play store is getting errors when I try to download an app at which point my phone froze and it rebooted itself and gets some android.media.process has stopped errors. So having said all that and knowing where your at. Dude your going in the right direction. Im going to fiddle fart with this cause I can and will look forward to your updates. Good Luck!

build 12/29 released.
BTW, Anyone know how to add data partition in the updater-script? I don't know the partition name, mainly why I haven't made aroma yet.
