no it wont work . It will only work for htc phones. Motorola's equivalent app is social networking

Get the paid version of launcher pro it has friends stream widget built in.

It requires sense framework to run almost anything from sense so that's a definite no

I use a site called interfacelift for any and all wallpapers for my devices. Their site has resolutions for every device imaginable and the wall papers are stunningly beautiful.
