Cyberon Voice Speed Dialer on HD2? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

I would like to know if the application Cyberon Voice Speed Dialer works on the HTC Touch HD2 through Bluetooth headset?
How to adjust start of the program by the headset’s button?

I'm also looking for a working version

Count me in too.. All the Cyberon Voice Speed dial and Voice Commands .cab's out there
won't work.
They won't have you press your headset button and talk to call.
It will have you be able to press a button on the phone and talk to call.
But of course, we all want to press the button on the BT headset while driving and so.

The cab in the 4th post down. Cyberon voice, it worked for my TD2

RE: How to attache the voice speed dialer to a button?
Any idea how to attached the voice speed dial to button 1? Since on the HD2 when you went to the button menu - there are none shown to be selected

Try setting the authenticated connection to OFF
Try setting the authenticated connection to OFF
This works !
Start-Settings, then <menu> All settings (its the quickmenu bottom right)
Bluetooth -
there you can set properties (nickname and authorized connections)
Deselect authorized connections
please your comments !

This one works well, courtesy of Miri.
Sorry,
Cyberon speed dial hold button.cab doesn't work with Miri's CVSD without tweaking links.

Works well, works well with bluetooth too.
I have a Blueant supertooth handsfree.
I press the send key and CVSD starts and responds to commands.
If MSVC is installed it is then the default app when handsfree send is pressed.

Yes, with Microsoft Voice Command, not with CVSD

Is there any way to re-configure this application to attach to the voice speed dealer button 4 (hold) which is the remote headset button instead of button 1? This will enable long press of the bluetooth button to activate the speed dialer. I hope it will be a minor change of this application, but it will help a lot.

Forgot - I mean the application provided from Tsipistri - Cyberon speed dial hold button.cab

How did you get MSVC work with bluetooth on the leo.
My MSVC sounds do not get redirected to the headset but come out of the device-speaker.
Which version do you use?

Hi All
HD2 and MSVC
CVSD works fine for me using MIRI's cab - tried several others with no luck
Does any one have a working version of MSVC for the new HD2
I have always had MSVC on my previous phones setup for anouncing calls and use CVSD for voice dial.
This has worked flawlessly on my last Touch HD running WM6.5 rom but the current version of MSVC I have will not annouce calls via my bluetooth headset no matter what I do - will only annouce via the phone speaker.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

How to make wired headset button start Voice Command

I've searched everywhere but cant find a solution to this: I bought the HTC wired usb headset for the Tilt. With Cyberon voicedial, the button on the headset would activate the app and worked perfectly. As I prefer MS Voice Command, I then went ahead and uninstalled Voicedial and installed VC, but button doesnt work now. Anyone know how to remap the headset button to voice command?
Try this reg, should do it.
Thanks, I'll give it a try...what changes does it make?
Sometimes after installing MS Voice Command you need to do a reset once or twice before the BT headset is reconized properly. (battery out and back in...) And, some BT headsets don't work well at all. MS's BT driver set has a history of being bad.
I think you misread my post...I was asking about the WIRED headset, not the BT one.
okay my question is that the software that came with my tilt- voice dail thing, cyberon will only work if I activate it by clicking the icon, however, I can't start it with a BT headset that I have, can anyone help?
well first fo all did you even activate it for you to use it?

BlueTooth Headset button after upgrading WM6.1

My bluebooth headset button always invoke with the pre-installed Cyberon VoiceCommander in my OEM WM6. After upgrading to WM6.1, I've installed the Cyberon VoiceCommand. But, pressing of BT button only switch the screen to the phone but can't invoke Cyberon VoiceCommander. If using wired headphone, the Cyberon VoiceCommander can be invoked when i press the headset button for 2-3 seconds. Why?
Anyone help as it's convenient for me while driving.
I'm having the exact same problem (on an AT&T 8525/Hermes). Cyberon VSD used to work when I pressed the talk button on my Jawbone. Now, only the phone panel is launched. (BTHS works perfectly while in-call and ends calls properly.)
Hope someone can shed some light on this. I've searched the forums high and low; haven't found a solution yet.
Question: Does the Cyberon Voice Commander suppot WM 6.1?
I think it depends on the rom you are using. Right now with udk rom I cannot invoke the dialer but I think it was possible with ASerg rom.

It's definitely possible - I've seen posts in the Hermes and Kaiser forums from people who say it works fine for them.

Yeah same challange... came from an E71 that keep dropping/reconnecting bluetooth connection and now the samsung does not play 100% either (well at least it does not drop out). When u install MVC it maps to the menu button on the right top of device, check under options in MVC 'connect via bluetooth if avail' and use the menu button - talk commands into i900 when it beeps... it will still route the call through the BT headset when connected ..not ideal but the best solution until a fix is avail

Bluetooth button remap, or Bluetooth voice dialing with voice tags.

I am fighting for some hours for this one on the device and searching google/xda but I don't seem to be able to solve it alone.
I want to execute an application when I press the bluetooth button. (OR) Find a voice dialing utility that supports bluetooth voice dialing with voice tags.
My current setup works okay for MSVC with bluetooth. Whenever I press the bluetooth button MSVC pops up but it is worthless for me because my contact names are not in English so I need something with voice tags.
I've found 3 relevant registry keys but none of them worked for me:
"HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway" "BTAGExtModule" = "path to a dll"
"HKLM\Sftware\OEM\VoiceCommand" "LaunchAPEnable" = "path to an executable"
"HKLM\ButtonApps\Microsoft\Voice Command" "AppFilePath" = "path to an executable" and "Parameters"
First, the Bleutooth Audio Gateway dll is mapped to one that comes with MSVC (vcbthag.dll). This particular dll will detect the bluetooth button being pressed and will lauch MSVC. Changing the aftermentioned registry keys pointing to the MSVC executable will not lauch another application when I press the button. Deleting voicecmd.exe and putting in place my executable (tricking vcbthag.dll to execute mine) doens't work at all (nothing happens).
On xda I found another Bluetooth Audio Gateway dll named BTAGExtModule.dll. Changing HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway to that dll will make all audio pass through bluetooth (where with vcbthag.dll this happens only for a couple of seconds when MSVC is active) but no application is executed when I press the bluetooth button. A mystery to me is that using this dll when I try to record something through the bluetooth mic and then try to listen to what I've recorded, playback is very fast and high (in tone) like it's been played at 10X speed (I guess a wrong sample rate is to blame for that but I don't know why).
Pressing the button to start MSVC then start an application by saying the command "Start application" doesn't work. The problem is that the bluetooth mic isn't used after the called application starts (MSVC has exited so mic and audio is returned to the device).
So is there a solution? If MSVC can detect the bluetooth button being pressed why it doesn't work with any other executable? Do I need a different Audio Gateway dll to start my own application? Why is this so difficult while devices costing 50€ can do this out of the box?
Please don't tell me to just use MSVC. It just doesn't work for non-english names. I need something with voice tags that can be executed with the bluetooth button. Of course that means that audio and microphone input should be channeled to the bluetooth headset while pressing the button.
Thanks in advance.

I tried that too, but the initial problem is that I can't make any program launch successfully with the bluetooth button except MSVC.

Thanks but this is for wired headsets, not bluetooth (I've seen that thread again and it would be quite convenient to work for bluetooth too).
We have the same problem. For non-english name, it's very difficult to make a right call. I search for solution on internet but i only found the solution to replace Voice Dial with Voice Command. You should upgrade your firmware with a ROM version content Voice Speed Dial.

Get a refund. Its been discussed here on several threads that Microsoft Voice Command does not work with the HD2 due to the widcomm bluetooth stack.
I have MS Voice Command 1.6.21725 installed on my HD2 and it works fine for me.

cyberon voice commander works fine.
MSVC can be tricky to those who install it for the first time. YOu can try button mapping software and map a button to the application. alternatively, look in your programs folder with a good file explorer and then copy the exe file for the program and paste the shortcut to the \WIndows\start menu folder on your device... you will then see the shortcut that activates MSVC.... this can then be added to your home screen shortcuts....
It works on the HD2 without problems... many people forget that MSVC is a voic command app.... and it works great... however, integration with a BT headset is flawed due to the widcomm stack that wont play nice. However, MS updated their app recently (late Nov) on the Handango US site. I would be VERY interested in knowing what version MSVC you are running (US version number? or is it the UK one?). THere are rumors that it may have been updated slightly to work better with our phones.
All your MSVC settings can also be found under settings (then choose all settings in menu)... look in the personal folder... its there....
will not even open program
as i said the phone will not even open the program????
What do you mean by that? You cant find the exe? you can't find the icon? You found it but clicking it does nothing?

Activation by BT headset also?
MSVC 1.62175 works okay for me so far. Activation via BT works partially. What I mean is that pressing the BT button activates MSVC but the sound and mic is via the phone. When it start dialling, the audio is transferred to the BT headset. I can live with that, though not ideal.
