Hey has anyone ported over the mytouch Dialer and Phone without the Line between the first and second rows? im running Aloysius_205b on my hero and would really love that dialer.
Also ive been looking at alot of threads and see alot of roms with blue in them... has anybody thought of a good 2.1 theme with red as a base color? i like the desire theme that atoz350 has but i want all the soft blue stuff to be a soft red instead. if someone has some incite on that also let me know.
Do it yourself and let us know how it turns out.

almost done with the frameworks. thats the big one. then wont be long from there. Lots of custom do it myself stuff. not a lot of red themes out there to copy and paste from

Not only have I seen them, but it was running Myn's Warm Donut on my Touch that caused me to get my Hero! Incubus, who made a lot of those themes also has a thread with theme components:

Here you'll find launchers, widgets, dialers, fonts, frameworks, etc. Now THAT'S something I'd like to see ported.
He has also developed three ROMS of his own for the Touch; all 2.1. Only one has Sense. The others have Live Wallpapers working.
You would be amazed at how much can be done on that old Touch. I love my Hero. It has such a nice screen. But the Touch is such a nice size.

Or, on a Touch, you can run Android from your SD card and be able to switch back to winmo by just rebooting. You can even flash one version of Android and run a second from your SD card.

no, because they have files for the touch's hardware. or are you talking about the themes? the themes you might be able to. I dont see why not. Can you flash tar files with the hero?

Yea, just the themes. I misread your post, I thought when you said you had all versions ported... that you meant, you had already ported these themes over to our phones, lol.
They look good. I'll see which one I want to port over for us CDMA guys.

This is going to be a 100% true no sense 2.1. this means sense frameworks will be gone and the BT wiimote will work. it will also run a million times faster than the sensleless roms now because im not just removing sense apps, ill be using 2.1 nexus eclair stock rom as base.
So until release tell me some app ideas and some theme ideas.

I love them both plus just glad to see the roms are starting to pop up really dont see what to hate about sense, especially now that there is the EVO....nice and smooth

so my buttons on the bottom dont work.
its got the vanilla lock screen (i think thats the name) side scroll to unlock. Also has helix launcher. ASOP top bar which i also am a fan of.
I dont know if 4g works because, 4g isnt available here yet, (WTF CMON NYC)
also seems as if camera has been removed.

Lol yes they do work i guess they arent attached to the system to function like we expect them to. I went into terminal emulator and i could use the capacitive buttons to type in it. Although i could only type 1 thing the whole time.

well im sure they arent broken, but when home does not take you to the home screen, menu doesnt bring up a menu, back doesnt go back , and search, well i dont use that sucker for anything, but when they dont to what they're supposed to do, they dont work.
These are just sick. I would kill (or donate ) to see these ported over for CM6, Sky Raider, and Stock (8/1 froyo).

Well, I sent PMs to the creators of the themes, but it will be tough for them to do since they don't have the phone.
yea im good at replacing png files but when it comes to when files dont add up and different xml files im clueless

fyi im running cm6 nightly, so thats the only rom i can test on (i will not disrespect my phone and put another sense rom on it ever, sorry)

i could probably port them too. im running cm6 test8 (pure vanilla version, made by me). just post links and either me or invisiblek could do something with it.
try to stick with hdpi themes, like ones from the evo/nexus....they are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy easier to port.porting themes from an mdpi device (like the hero, eris, g1, mytouch, mtslide,etc) is bigger pain in the ass than you can imagine

OK. I did some digging.
I found "More Vintage Less War" ported to the Nexus One here:

That was it, though. I checked the Evo, Desire, and Nexus One forums, and that was the only one of the three I found. I'd still donate to get all three, but one is a good start.

I will port what needs to be added so you get the full look on Froyo.
Edit: Done trying it out now. Needs a little work but, I like it...
This has only been tested on Sky Raider 2.2, should work on other froyo roms. Backup then use at your own risk.
1. For the Rusty Metal theme you can use Open Home Full plus the Rusty Metal theme thats on market w/ my Rusty_Metal_Incredible_froyo.zip.
or
2. My Rusty_Metal_Incredible_froyo.zip with Better Cut and Launcher Pro.
I'm uploading it now, we should start another thread for it though. Right?
