exchange / activesync issues - Dash 3G, Snap ROM Development

everything works fine except sending internal emails at work.
so contacts, appointments, tasks are correctly synced
also all incoming email is synced
when i send email to the "world" all works fine.
all send emails endup in my sent items
but i can not send any emails to internal addresses at work.
however, sending emails to those internal email addresses are correctly displayed in my sent items folder.
i have tried the stock rom, and the latest 1.6 rom, without difference.
it involves exchange 2003 with a self signed cert.
a collegue with a different htc phone, and the exact same certificates installed on his phone, can send internal emails without probs
any ideas please?
Thanks

Help with my Outlook Email Setup & HTC Wizard

I need some help setting up email on my 8125 to efficiently sync with Outlook on my Laptop.
In Outlook on my PC I have multiple Gmail accounts setup. Emails from these accounts come into the same Inbox folder (within the same Outlook Data File, of course). Whenever I respond to an email, the reponse is sent from the Gmail account that the email was originally sent to.
Is there any way to emulate this on the HTC Wizard?
I have no problem synching the Outlook Inbox on the 8125. However, to check email while on the road, I have to setup each Gmail account separately. The emails are downloaded into separate inboxes within their respective account folders.
Because of this any reading/responding/deleting of emails I do on the phone does not sync to Outlook on my PC.
This sux because I have to maintain the separate POP accounts on the phone as well as my Outlook Inbox.
Does anybody else have a similiar PC setup to mine that can offer any insight or suggestions. They'd be greatly appreciated.
Even though I don't know much about them, I have a feeling that an exchange server (or possibly Cingular Xpress Mail) may be the only solution for my problem.
THanks in advanced for any help!

Please help

Hello,
I am new and experiencing dificulty configuring my email with outlook, I have read past threads but none seem to cover the specifics of my dilema.
I use outlook 2003 to access my email, the email address is my own domain, I have outgoing mail SMTP and Incomming POP3.
I can sync my pc ok with outlook (so my emails, contacts, tasks etc are added to my orbit) but it doesnt let me configue my email settings (incoming and outgoing settings etc) under the outlook tab of the orbit, to send or recieve emails.
To make this clearer I when I set the email settings I have the choice to chose either POP3/IMAP4 or Outlook, If I chose outlook then it takes me to a wizard to configure exchange server (which I dont have) So therefore I have to chose POP3/IMAP4 which works but it sets up a different folder to the synced outlook folder.
So as it stands I can send and recieve emails from a pop3 account on the device but not the outlook account unless it is connected to my pc.
I hope this makes sense, however if you need any more clarification please ask.
Please please please help - I have little enough hair as it is but am losing more by the second trying to work out how to do this.
Thanks in advance.
Steve
outlook mail == using outlook on your pc to send the mail using what ever type of mail system outlook on your pc is set to use
if you want to mail without being connected to your pc you need to make a pop3/stmp setup on your phone
not all isp's who offer pop3/smtp mail accounts will you access them externaly though with other then webmail
Thanks for the response.
I can set up pop3/imap4 on the device easy and it sends and recieves no problem via the gprs network.
My problem is that if I want to synchronise any emails that have been sent to my device with outlook on my pc (so I have the same inbox on both) it doesnt work?
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks again
Steve

Im not an exchange expert, but if all your internal emails including yours are using the same server and you can send externally, it has to be a server issue. THere would not be any other settings to change on active sync. You'll have to speak to ur IT dept unless someone comes up with any other bright ideas. (maybe your companys firewall blocking the sent mail)
maybe this helps for the experts?
message header from the email send from my phone, which ends up in my sent items, but is not appearing in my / others company internal inboxes:

[Q] synchronising emails on default email client with pop3

Hi all
I was hoping you could help me with a problem i'm having. I use my HTC One S with my a pop 3 email account (Microsoft office 365)
However, when i delete an e-mail from my phone it does not delete the e-mail from the server. How can i get everything to sync up so that when I delete an email from my phone it gets deleted from the server?

I'm actually experiencing this problem as well using gmail. I recently flashed my radio and installed Tecardo's US script. Did you also do that?
I thought M365 supported IMAP also? Thats much more stable then pop3.
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
I use the stock mail for my netzero account.. i actually works fine after this new update.. I flashed the new radio, and tmous 2.35 rom...
whenever i delete mail from my phone, it wouldnt remove it from my netzero acct.. till now, it works fine after i refresh mail server.. it actually deletes it from the server,
in the stock mail... menu settings, sync, send & receive, check sync deleted items from server, and also delete mail on server...
hope that helps..

Transfer Outlook email including disconnected accounts

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...
I have a Galaxy S7 and I wanted to maybe look at getting a newer device.
I want to transfer all my data including SMS, apps, email etc... to the new device. Importantly I want to transfer my Outlook app with emails to the new device.
I have a couple of important email accounts that have emails which I need however I no longer have access to the email accounts, but have the emails on the device.
How can I transfer those emails to the new device without having to reconnect to the email server to download them? (Since I don't have access to the email server anymore)
Thank you
