I´m thinking about buying a Touch Pro, but I tested TL on my brothers Diamond and scrolling (with transparent items) was quite slow (even slower than on my Touch Cruise).
So my question: Is the WM7 Ultimate theme running nice or slow on your Touch Pro ?
Would a cooked ROM with improved drivers help ???

from my experience, cooked roms are ALMOST always faster and more stable than stock roms. i can tell you that TL works fine on my TC... and the WM7 skin one is even lighter than the manila one and works good on my diamond...

then you should forget about Touch as it only has 201mhz processor and qvga screen..but for wifi-use only, i think it's more than enough..
The HTC Diamond should do what you need, unless you want a keyboard like the tytn2.

none of those are points for xperia... go for touch pro... xperia will just give you a major headache...

I've used both of these phones, my preference has to be the Touch Pro. A well setup Touch Pro is a very good device, one of HTC's gems.
Sure the Touch Pro has a couple of bad points but they can be over looked for the price you pay for the device today.
am a big fan of x1 but would also go for touch pro just out of curiosity. plus htc has way more experience with WM then SE. I use X2 now since they changed it for my old x1 and even afther 2 mayor software updates x2 is still (in my opinion) is still not polished anough to be relesed. im abouth a year and a halp time user of x1 and x2 and if i would be buying a phone today would probably go for milestone (motorila : bad point, android: cant realy say bad or good). anyways touch pro is still a good device and its probably little cheaper then x1.
I prefer touch pro too.
some criticism on it:
1. D-pad is awful. can`t use it at all
2. Wi-fi performance - the worses I ever have, but satisfactory.
3. glossy design - always need to clean.
4. missing 3.5 jack.

i m getting almost same price for both the phones.
Both are good devices, it really is a users personal requirements that will determine the final choice.
You have to highlight what you need from the device & see which one matches your requirements the best.

I have heard that SE xperia mini pro don't have good smooth touchscreen ....Is that true ......What about the touch screen of SE xperia neo V ????....I also heard that samsung provide very good touchscreen !!.......pls help ....what to do
DO NOT buy se xperia mini it has overheating problems.Ive seen this on different forums and on youtube so Xperia Neo is definetly better
