Trinity goes wiki
A wiki page has been opened for the Trinity
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Trinity
Please look here before asking questions on the forum.
All users can edit this page so you can all add information thus making it a better source of information.
It has the structure of the Blueangel wiki so you can use that as templet.

Nice
I'll check it out!

Browse the site and see how it's organized by device. Read the Wiki:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/
Then find the section that pertains to YOUR device. Odds are you'll find a thread in there discussing ROM upgrades pertinent to your own machine.

bump to make this thread a sticky.
please maods can you please make this a sticky. just this one time that is all i ask for.
to be honest...we have quite a bit of sticky topics. this is already on wiki, so I don't see a reason why we need to sticky. I do give you props for putting in the time to fill out the wiki though. good job on that.

Is their a section for beginners?

Is their a section in this forum that is for beginners? When I say beginners I mean we know the basics about computers and what not, but when it comes to changing registry and tweaking up our HTC phone.
Like a guide on "how-to's" on everything and anything we probably would want to do or just the major stuff. That would be great because searching through the forum for other questions that were solved is a hassle. Sometimes I can't find anything then you would have to post it and members would come back to flame you because you didn't search when you actually did.
If their is a section could someone please post the link.
Thanks!
on the top of each section there is a great guide
Also read the Wiki
Good luck,
Didn't know about the Wiki thanks!
No prob mate
Over there you´ll find all that you need as a beginner
Enjoy!

[Wiki] Evo Guides & Roms - alternative site for now (one that is online)

THIS IS SIMPLY A COPY OF THE PAGES THAT toastcfh HAS CREATED (albeit on a working wiki)
I (toastcfh) decided to create a guide and tutorial wiki because it seems a lot of great info is being buried in the forums. I just made a page on the Rom Wiki and used the format from it to create a Guide and Tutorial Wiki. Everyone is welcomed to update it as it is a Wiki. All that's asked is to keep it organized, so it will remain useful for everyone.
IRC channels:
irc.freenode.com
#HTC-EVO
HTC Evo Guides And Tutorials
and
HTC Evo ROMs
Until this is made a sticky, feel free to bump it
bump
bump (until the mods make this thread sticky)
thank you, this is long overdue.
bumpity bump bump
There is another wiki http://htc-linux.org/wiki/index.php?title=Supersonic the focus is more on hardware/development...
I updated the Guides page with some of the guides from the "useful threads" sticky here, and added a front navigation page to make things a little easier.
XDA wiki up
Re-created the HTC Evo ROMs page on the official XDA wiki: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Evo_ROMs
Anyone got a link to the tutorials/guides page anywhere?
Nvm, retreived the original thanks to svetius: svetius http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Evo_Guides_and_Tutorials

Oh my, did I learn all that from reading forums while I could have read the wiki!? Going to check where the wiki is mentioned in the sticky forums as I think that would be first place to go when learning how to cope with the SGS+.
Nice thread but do you know where can I find the wiki, please ?
