How to change my info image - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 Software Upgrading

err... i just wonder how to change top title bar that contain image and embossed word "my info" on splash screen of the owner information?
coz some days ago i saw my friend's 818pro changed to his own image.

hmm.. I'm looking for the same answer too. I remember that once I've installed something and it can change the fonts as well.
UPDATE:
Ok, I've found it. It is in
\Windows\myinfo.96.gif
The file is hidden, you may not see it. You can copy it out via activesync. It is a 320x60 image. You need to have other file manager (e.g. Total commander) to replace this file. Note: You cant seems to have image of other sizes (e.g. 320 x 180) doesn't show up after 60.
Now, I would like to know how to change the fonts of the 'my info' page. I remember once I've flashed a ROM or installed something that changes the fonts.

My Info Image
I was able to put a 480 x 640 Immage as myinfo.192.gif on my touch pro and it used it just has white boxes for my info.

HTC Home plugin for Smartphone

Hi,is it possible to modify this plugin(http://www.smartphonefreeware.mobi/download-htc-home-plugin-smartphone.html) for 176x220 resolution?I tryed to install this plugin on my HP iPAQ 514 ,it works but it's little to big.
Thanks!
should work this way, after you install it, you can grab the whateveritscalled.home.xml file from ."..\Device\Application Data\Home" and edit that (I just used notepad). The plugins have various size values (height, width), and location values (x,y), and you'll have to edit the "skin" or the images associated with the plugins as well to fit the size you want. The images are usually stored in their own folder underneath "...\Application Data\Home" as well.
at least that's usually how it goes...I'm assuming this theme is no different.

Ok,thanks,i'll try!
It's probably not going to work this way. You will have to edit the graphic files and resize them.

Remove AT&T from TF3D?

Loving my Fuze so far! Used the process to hard reset and remove the bloatware....not quite ready to take the plunge with a cooked ROM just yet...
On the home screen above the clock there is a bar that just lists the AT&T logo in the upper right. Nothing else. And because of it I have to scroll on my home screen to see everything.
How the heck do I get rid of this useless waste of real estate?
Interesting, I didn't even notice this but true, what a waste of space! I'm hoping for something like HCC, Home Screen Customizer coming back for Fuze, that was one great app!
You arent kidding! I'm a little bummed, my Tilt had more usable home screen space
hope some1 can find a way.
Two ways to do it:
1) go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2796868&posted=1#post2796868 and aply the original TF3D theme. It will also change your orange to green in the theme though
2) use the diamond TF3D configuration tool and go you tabs and remove 'unknown'
choice 1 -Don't care for change of color
choice 2 - Diamond config tool did not remove the AT&T logo -
Any other suggestions or ideas?
sorry- i didn't read the top post well enough. What I did is get rid of the AT&T tab which I hate. If you look at the other screens of TF3D there is always something on top- the first one should probably list Home but I guess it's true- we could all live without them all entirely...
Unzip and copy this file into the windows directory. Let me know if this works.
Thanks

That file already exists in the windows directory. Thus, no change. Still looking at the "AT&T" gray bar across the top of the screen.
I certainly appreciate you trying to help -
I removed the bar using the customizer but I think that qt&t is reading it from the operator name which may never be able to get read of unless someone really customizer tf3d.
FYI - That's not AT&T's doing. Look at all the unlocked TF3D screenshots. It's the line that lists what screen you are looking at or the carrier if it's the home screen. It's in all the cooked ROMs as well since it's part of the basic functionality.

First close TF3D, then extract file into windows directory, over writing existing file. Start TF3D again. Logo should be gone. Worked for me.
I am losing my touch with this Touch (Fuze) -
Could not overwrite - got error message that basically said that file is write protected and I do not have permission.
Tried to delete the original and then replace - again receive denials.
I have tried to, using a registry editor, make changes to the file (make it able to be read; edit it; rename it;, etc) without any success. All attempts have been rejected.
Perhaps I could trouble you as to how to either overwrite or delete and replace.
Thanks

Copy the file to somewhere else on the phone, maybe like a temp directory.
Then use TotalCommander to copy the file into windows directory.
Thats it.

Thanks - finally successful in removing the AT&T logo - however, the gray bar remains -
I certainly appreciate the efforts that you folks have gone to.
If we could move the date up to the empty space, that would be good.
Am I the only one that has both the date and AT&T on that line?
I wouldn't want to get rid of it, because it would mean getting rid of the date.
I'm using a sprint flip-clock, but I don't recall how it looked in stock form.
Standard factory ROM.
I think what you are wanting to get rid of is what I've seen on here referred to as the top "curtain". Do a search on that. I've seen it mentioned somewhere, but I couldn't find it off the bat.
This removes the curtain: http://www.ppcmobility.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261
Haven't tried it so I don't know if it does the trick

background image grainy without touchflo?

Hey all,,,
I no longer have a touch pro to test this on but my buddy asked if there was a way to prevent his background image from looking grainy when he disables touch flo?
Could some one test this? Does the background image actually get grainy when touchflo is disabled?
Touchflo uses a different background image than the standard windows today screen. When Touchflo is turned off, the windows today screen image will be displayed. The today screen image is contained in the selected theme or can be selected by the user. Some themes just display a blank screen.
Go to Start - Settings - Personal
Select Today
In the appearance tab, there is an option to use another image (picture) as the background. For best results, choose a (.jpg file) image file sized to 480 x 640 pixels (VGA). Any image or photo editing program can be used to crop or edit an image for use on the phone. Put the desired image file in the phone's My Pictures folder (or anywhere else that can be browsed to).
There are themes and background images freely available on this forum and elsewhere.
Great, thanks!

Windows Mobile 6.5.x= start menu text color

Hi
I was wondering what i takes to change the text color in the startmenu in a WinMo 6.5.x installation.
The registry method with color 39 does not seem to work anymore. I also tried a SK tool but no success either.
Anyone with some tips?
I too have a problem with WM6.5...
I have a HTC Touch Pro II which i have upgraded from the Touch Pro and its a far better phone, but i keep having menu text colour problems...
Basically, i created a theme for my old phone and installed it on my new one and it worked for a few days, then the menu text which started as all white, stated changing to black for some of the icons - not all, but a few days later they are all black, and on my black background its impossible to read...
So i changed the theme, all text again 2 different colours! different theme same thing :S
So went to the MS theme maker software which to cut a very long story short, finally managed to get a theme from the site and saved on my phone!
Success! untill the phone was reset and now its 2 colours again! this really doesn't make any sence...
So 1) why are there 2 different colours setup for the menu text? and is there any software which will let me edit all the colours for themes on my laptop then upload to the phone?
Thanks guys - this is driving me nuts!!!!
I Know This Thread Is Dead But This Will Help People Like Me Looking For A Fix
Here's how to change the Start Menu Text color:
*SAVE A COPY OF THE FILE YOU'RE EDITING SOMEWHERE IN CASE YOU SCREW SOMETHING UP!
1. Extract the file StartMenu_GridScene_480x800.cpr from your Windows directory to your desktop.
Mine includes 480x800 at the end because that's my devices resolution(Touch Pro II). If you have a different resolution, I'm pretty sure it will have that at the end of the file name.
2. Open the file on your PC with Notepad.
3. Find every occurrence of ForeColor="#00FFFFFF". Mine had two.
It might not be 00FFFFFF, but that's hex code for white so it probably will be.
4. Replace 00FFFFFF with whatever color hex code you want.
You can find any color's hex code online through Google.
5. Copy the edited file back into the Windows directory of your phone. Click yes when it asks if you want to overwrite the file.
6. I soft reset, though I don't know if it's necessary. I figure it can't hurt.
7. Check and see if it worked.
I've attached my .cpr in a ZIP file for BLACK Start Menu text. It works on my Sprint Touch Pro II, and it should work for others but it's still not my fault if something goes wrong. If you use mine, STILL SAVE A COPY OF YOUR .CPR IN CASE IT DOES SOMETHING FUNKY!

changing the taskbar icons on htc touch pro 2

help!
i am trying to change my start icon by editing the shellres.192.dll file
after following easy directions(thanks tsowen)
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54514
i succeeded to change my start icon with an icon that someone else created. however, i want to ceate my own icon. i downloaded unsigner, reshacker, and mssigner.
i used the addition of batchunsign and my screen reads
starting unsigning...
unsignng: shellres.192.dll
skipping unsigner.exe
press any keyto continue
i think the file is getting usigned because it shrinks by 3 kb...
assuming that shellres.192.dll was unsigned, i created my own icon using paint and replaced the original one with it using reshacker. then i opened up the file with mssigner and it reads processed complete!. however, the .txt note that is created is blank (i tried it several time and got the same result). . i am getting no success or error message! i am definitely doing something wrong and i dont know what. please help me. i have tried to figure this out for about 7 hours and i am not the type to give up but i really do not know what to do anymore.
also, i have a cdma touch pro 2 (i think its wvga - 800 x 480) - do you know the ideal icon size for this kind of device?
any advice would be greatly appreciated! thank you so much for your help.
